I would like to thank the members for their support and all the exhibitors concerned for the quality entry and for the sporting manner in which they accepted my decisions. I would also like to thank The West Highland White Terrier Club Committee and their stewards for their help and hospitality on the day. I feel very honored to have now judged all four West Highland White Terrier Club Championship Dog Shows.

Masculine dog puppy who is nicely bodied. Good head, alert and very aware of what was going on around him. Large black nose and good mouth. Good coat and well boned. Moved well and was more settled than he has been at previous shows.

Strong headed young dog with a good stop. Good neck and shoulder, deep bodied. Good hind angulation. A little spooked on the move – hope he gains some confidence as he matures.

A very typical WHWT. Good head and expression, beautiful mouth, neat ears and good pigment. Correct front and shoulder. Deep bodied and short coupled. Strong hindquarters which he used to advantage on the move. Good coat and well presented as always from this kennel.
2 Dale’s LYNNSTO SPECIAL AGENT
Similar qualities to 1. Super head, stop and pigment. Correct shoulder angulation giving a good reach of neck. Short coupled, level topline and strong backend. Harsh white coat. Moved with much more confidence than I have seen recently.

Short level back, good depth of rib and powerful hindquarters. Stylish mover with good hind angulation, tail on top. Pleased to award him the DOG C.C., BEST OPPOSITE SEX & RESERVE BEST IN SHOW
2 Noyce’s CHAMPION ARMADALE SON OF A GUN AT MAXULA (IMP)
Well balanced, good headed dog with a lot to like about him. Good shoulder placement and strong, well-muscled quarters. Moved with drive although he wasn’t co-operative to his handler today. Good coat and beautifully presented. A worthy champion.

This dog has a true terrier attitude and has a beautiful mouth. He is just young and the first two are ‘more ready’ at the moment – needs time to fully complete the picture.

Eleven-year-old dog who is also in good order for his age. Lovely head and expression. Correct reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Short coupled and harsh coat. Good pigment. Moved and showed well with tail on top. Unlucky to meet 1 today.

This eight-month-old puppy went well for her young handler. Nice expression, good neck and shoulder. Good pigment and coat. Moved freely with tail on top. Looking forward to watching both the puppy’s and the handlers progress.

This bitch puppy has had a super start to her show career and I can see why. Good head with dark eye. Good front, neck and shoulder placement. Short back leading to strong hindquarters which she used to advantage on the move. Super tail. Thoroughly enjoys being in the showring and even gave me a ‘smile’ after she had walked. I will watch her progress with interest. Happy to award her BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Another quality promising puppy with lots to like about her. Lovely outline and good overall shape and balance. Lovely expression. Correct front and shoulder. Super hindquarters. Needs more confidence and will then push harder for the top spot.

Well bodied young bitch with good hindquarters. Shorter on the leg than 1. Strong, well carried ears. Straight front and level topline. Moved soundly – shame she didn’t like the corners!

One I have admired from the ringside and lived up to my expectations. Very typical WHWT. Well balance and quality throughout. Good head and expression, dark eye. Super front, good neck and shoulder placement. Short, level back. Strong quarters which she used to advantage on the move. Well set tail, carried on top to complete the picture. Beautiful white coat – in excellent condition. I was delighted to award her the BITCH C.C. & BEST IN SHOW – her second, hope her third isn’t too far away.

Similar qualities to 1. Another very typical quality bitch with lovely head and expression. Good outline when stacked which she held on the move. Good bone. Correct shoulder angulation, short level back. Unlucky to meet 1 today.

Well balanced bitch. Attractive feminine head with good eye and bite. Straight front legs. Great reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Short back. Well angulated and muscled quarters. Moved true fore and aft with tail on top, excellent coat and presentation. A little reluctant on the day as she wasn’t keen on the mats but deserved the RESERVE BITCH C.C.

Compact bitch with a lot to like about her. Super head and beautiful expression. Good head carriage. Lovely hindquarters. Moved well with tail on top. I can see a big difference in the presentation and handling of this kennel’s dogs – well done, keep up the good work.

Another that I have admired from the ringside and wasn’t disappointed when I handled her. Quality throughout. Pleasing head with dark eye and neat ears. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Short coupled and sound hindquarters. Lovely tail. Moved with lots of enthusiasm. A worthy champion – I would have preferred a little less weight.

Stylish, eye-catching bitch. Feminine head and expression. Good front, level back and sound hindquarters. Moved freely with tail on top. Very well presented as always from this kennel. Preferred the shoulder placement of one.
