I would like to thank the Society for the invitation and all exhibitors who entered under me it was a pleasure to go over your dogs. Also I would like to thank my very efficient stewards.
Veteran Dog 2 (2)
Minor Puppy Dog 1
1st. Berry, Ashgate Star Gazer. A very promising 6 month old pup who needs time. Strong bone. Good coat, super head with good stop and large teeth, very good rear angulation. Moved very well, when he settles he will be a super showman. Enjoying himself today as puppies should.
Puppy Dog 2 (2)
Junior Dog 3
1st Carlin & Gillot, Lizandycris Paco Rooban. Super head with wide muzzle, good bone, good shoulder placement, short coupled. Moved with real drive. This young man with maturity could worry the best of them I am sure he has a bright future ahead of him.
2nd Minett, Duskhunter Ruff Diamond. Another very nice dog, many of the same attributes, super hard coat, tail on top. Difficult decision but today I preferred the movement of 1.
3rd Corri, Inverglen Master Mariner
Yearling Dog 2 (1)
1st. Owens, Frisbeck Guitarman. Good harsh jacket. Pleasing head with good bite. Moved well but would like better rear angulation.
Post Graduate Dog 2
1st Dale, Lynnsto Special Agent. Very nice type. Super presentation, harsh ultra white jacket. Good head with wide muzzle. Good bite. Good shoulder placement, deep in chest. Liked him a lot.
2nd Bartley, Atalib the General. Another nice dog. Smaller type with good head, short back, good harsh jacket. Moved and showed well.
Limit Dog 5 (3)
1st. Squires, The Dashing Devils Macho Man. Typical westie, close to the standard. Good bone, very short coupled, deep in chest, Good bite. Super coat texture, level topline with tail on top. Would prefer more stop and dome to head. Moved and showed very well.
2nd. McBean, Pryorvale Summer Knight. Well up to size. Good harsh coat texture. Good in head with large teeth. Very short back, which in my opinion tended to make him look slightly unbalanced hence his second place today.
Open Dog 5
1st Steemson, Multi/Int Ch Bocans Back in Business (Re-imp). I judged this dog 3 years ago at the WDS and gave him RCACIB. Now 5 years old and has lost some of the sparkle he had when younger but I still like this dog. He has a good head with a wide muzzle and correct bite, Good reach of neck leading to well placed shoulders. He has a super hard coat, Short coupled with good bone. Short tail which he carried well on the move. Pleased to award him CC and BOB
2nd Britten, Ch. Krisma Jump Start. A young dog who still has some maturing to do. A smaller type to 1, a typical honest westie. Pleased to award him RCC.
3rd. Carlin & Gillot, Ch Lizandycris Line Me Up. A worthy champion who was unlucky to meet the first 2 today.
Special Beginners Dog 1
1st Owens, Frisbeck Guitarman.
Special Beginners Bitch 3
1st Mitchell, Lynnsto Pandora’s Box. A very nice bitch to go over. Pleasing head with feminine expression, Good shoulder placement, well angulated rear. More refined grooming could present a better picture. Moved and showed very well. Pleased to see her awarded Special Beginners Group 1.
2nd Jasper, Clavelshay Hurry Up Harriet. Nice bitch, better grooming than the winner but I preferred the shoulder placement on the winner. Showed well.
3rd. Jasper, Clavelshay Carry on Cleo.
Veteran Bitch 1 (1)
Minor Puppy Bitch 4 (1)
1st Morton, Swifdon Late Knight Special. 8 month old bitch a little overawed in her surroundings today. Nice type, good head, wide muzzle and correct bite. Good coat texture. Showed well when settled.
2nd Sweetzer, Ambalasi Lolly Pop. Longer in muzzle than the winner, her coat let her down today, needs time for harsh jacket to come through. Nice type who showed well for her handler.
3rd. Jasper, Clavelshay Carry on Cleo.
Puppy Bitch 5 (2)
1st Bartley, Krementski D’Giulietta Di Verona Atalib (Imp Rus). A real little showgirl. Good head with super feminine expression, good front, well presented, would like higher tail set. BPIB.
2nd Harper, Westigo Full of Cheek. A very nice bitch, good shoulder placement, excellent coat texture. Another with a lovely feminine expression. Moved well. Difficult decision just preferred showmanship of winner on the day.
Junior Bitch 7
1st Gaydon, The Dashing Devil’s Popcorn at Gilbri. Super presentation, very white jacket, looked a picture standing. Good head with correct bite, strong bone, deep chest. Showed well. I am sure this bitch will do very well as she matures.
2nd Berry, Ashgate Naughty But Nice, A super bitch who should go far. Strong head with good stop, very good shoulder placement. Good rear angulation moved with drive. Needs more coat to complete the picture.
3rd Steemson, Bocans News Flash
Yearling Bitch 4 (3)
1 Mitchell, Lynnsto Pandora’s Box
Post Graduate Bitch 5
1st Fryer, Hopecharm Bit of Fruitcake. An easy winner of this class. A typical westie who fits the standard. Wicked expression, large teeth, good bite, good reach of neck leading to well placed shoulders, short coupled, excels in backend. Moved with drive. A very nice young lady.
2nd Bradbury, Lizandycris Mischevious at Fourastay. Larger type than winner, but a very nice bitch to go over. Strong head with good stop, strong bone, deep chest. Moved and showed very well.
3rd Eason, Andjoliam Appolonia
Limit Bitch 5 (2)
1st Dale, Lynnsto Evelyn All. Lovely Bitch. Again so well presented as always from this kennel. Lovely head with super expression. Good shoulder placement, short coupled. Moved very well. Considered for RCC.
2nd Corri, Frisbeck Flower Girl by Inverglen. Another very nice bitch. Good head and expression. Good shoulder placement, short coupled, level topline which she kept on the move. Unlucky to meet 1 today.
3rd Gale, Bellevue Gossip Catcher
Open Bitch 3 (1)
1st Fryer, Hopecharm Christmas Rose. Loved this bitch. Super size just a very typical westie with nothing exaggerated. Lovely head and expression, correct shoulder placement, good front, deep in chest, short coupled, good tailset, very good rear angulation. Covered the ground with ease. Pleased to award her the CC and I understand she gained her title today.
2nd Minnet, Matheron Connex Again With Duskhunter. Another very nice bitch, a decent honest westie. Good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, short coupled, tail bang on top. Difficult decision today between 1 and 2. Pleased to award her the RCC.
