WEST HIGHLAND WHITE THREE COUNTIES 16 Judge: Mr D Griffiths BEST OF BREED : 3059 DEL PINO, Mr J & KRYSZAK Mrs A Gib Ch & Port Ch Krystof Sunshine Celebration WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 16 West Highland White Terriers MPD (1) 1 Thomson’s Ashgate Ayton, upstanding male just 6 months. Straight front. Good shoulders. Very unsettled on the move today, doing his utmost to trip his handler up. PD (1) 1 Davies’ Jimmy Riddle at Manakel, very nice puppy. Short compact body. Strong head, neat ears. Good bone. Good shoulders with deep chest. Moved well when settled. JD (3,2a) 1 McBean’s Pryorvale Summer Knight, a striking young dog. Very nice shape. With good bone. Good head & expression with super bite. Good reach of neck with good shoulder placement. Needs to deepen in body but time is on his side. Considered him for RCC. PGD (2) 1 Stacey & Lloyd’s Charmhela’s Macho Man, nice dog, well balanced, good size. Strong well domed skull with good expression, wide muzzle. Good shoulder placement, good reach of neck, level topline, strong rear. Moved very well; 2 Bartley’s Atalib Playing The Star, a good honest dog well put together with strong bone. Slightly longer in body than winner. A pleasing head with a good bite. Moved well. LD (4,2) 1 Gillot & Carlin’s Lizandycris Line Me Up, liked this dog. Strong bone. Good head with wide muzzle & good bite. Straight front, good depth of body. Well muscled rear. Moved positive. Difficult decision in this class but in the end this dog won on movement. RCC; 2 Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Nosey Parker, very masculine dog with strong bone. Very good head & wide muzzle & large teeth. Very harsh coat. Straight front, level topline which he kept on the move just preferred movement of the winner but two very nice types, not an easy decision. OD (4,2) 1 Del Pino & Kryszak’s Gib/Port Ch Krystof Sunshine Celebration, my star of the day. A super example of the breed. Loved this dog wish he was in our home. Strong male of correct size with the whitest harsh jacket. Strong head with wide muzzle & super expression. Super shoulder placement, lovely outline standing & on the move. High tailset with plenty behind the tail. Moved positive & true pleased to award him BOB & see him shortlisted in the group; 2 Steemson’s Serb Ch Bogarhazi Zuckini, very nice dog. Smaller type than 1. Would like to see him with far less jacket. Short back, good depth of body, very short coupled. Good tailset. Moved well. MPB (2) 1 Gillott & Carlin’s Lizandycris Maggie May, very raw puppy just 6 months. Needs time to mature. Nice head & expression, good bite, level topline. Carried herself well on the move; 2 Bradbury’s Lizandycris Mischievious, litter sister to 1. Same attributes. I felt this one slightly longer in loin. PB (2) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Grace And Favour, super presentation. Harsh whitest of coats. Lovely expression with good bite. Well angulated, moved freely. A very nice puppy. BP & later in the day I hear she was PG4; 2 Mitchell’s Frazandmitch The Lords Darling Daughter, longer in body than winner. Moved very well for her handler. Not the coat texture of 1. JB (1,1). PGB (7,3) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Issa Star, very nice type. Again excellent presentation & coat texture, nice head & super expression. Strong backend, level topline, moved well; 2 Minett’s Matheron Connex Again with Duskhunter, very short cobby bitch. Good shoulder placement & tailset. Strong backend. Just preferred the movement of 1 but close decision; 3 Thomson’s Dylandougie Ayr to Ashgate. LB (3,1) 1 Mealing’s Reifrandies Murnie, nice type, very feminine head & expression. Level topline, moved well for her handler; 2 Sweetzer’s Ambalasi Pick N Mix, short cobby bitch, good head & expression. Heavier type than 1. A nice bitch who also moved very well. OB (5,1) 1 Hands’ Crinan Calista, a good decent honest bitch, lovely head & expression, good bite. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, harsh white coat. Strong rearquarters, moved with purpose. My CC winner; 2 Davidson’s Lynnsto That’ll Do Nicely at Branxquin, another nice type, not quite the shoulder placement of the winner. Strong head with large teeth, good coat texture & well presented. Moved well for her handler. RCC; 3 Steemson’s Roxholm Reign Dance by Bocans. DEREK GRIFFITHS
