JUDGE: BARBARA HANDS

SPECIAL BEGINNERS DOG. 1.Louie Conquistador. (Windram) Sound west highland, Hard white coat
which could have been better presented. Moved correctly.

MINOR PUPPY DOG. 1. Kingsview Warwick. (Coley) Beautiful West Highland, moved with confidence
and drive. Excellent pigment, good hard white coat, Strong mouth , correct shoulders leading into a
level topline and strong quarters. Best Dog Puppy.

2. DAVOT CHIEF WHIP. (Bartley).Much to like about this young man but not as positive on the move
as 1st.

PUPPY DOG. 1. Ambalasi Splash and Dash.(Sweetzer). Strong balanced puppy. Excellent hard white
coat. Strong scull with large teeth. Well laid back shoulders, level topline. Strong quarters which he
used to effect on the move.

2. Yushama Shooting Star.(Bartley). Well grown youngster, not as compact as 1st . Not as positive on
the move as the 1st.

JUNIOR DOG. 1. BOCANS BACKIN BUSINESS (Squire) Very mature outgoing youngster. Excelled in
movement. Very sound on the move. Good head and expression. Well off for bone. Well laid back
shoulders, short coupled, strong quarters.

2. Ashgate Gleouraich, (Thomson). Nice type, lacking the substance of the first. Attractive head.
Moved well . Needs time to mature.

NOVICE DOG. 1. Juanne Flamenco Finlay.(Milner). When settled move OK. Balanced dog, excellent
pigment, good bone, hard white coat.

TYRO DOG. 1. Leonardo Ventura. (Windram). Good head, shoulders, deep ribs, good tail set. A little
lethargic on the move. Presentation could have made more of his good points.

POST GRADUATEDOG. Brychdyn Diamond Geezer.(Hughes). Excelling in breed type. Super head,
correct length of neck leading into well laid back shoulders this together with strong quarters gave
him real drive when on the move. Tail bang on top, excellent had white coat, deep ribs. RES CC. And
Res BIS.

LIMIT DOG. 1. Nossimp Written in the Stars. (Storey). Excellent breed type, impressed on movement,
which won him the class.

2. Maxula Name of the Game.(Noyce). Little separated the first two in this class. Excellent west
highland. Great bone, Hard white coat. Has all the essentials.

3. Ashgate Apollo . (Thomson).

OPEN DOG. 1. Flassendale Fairlie. (Metcalfe) Typical of what a west highland should be. Strongly
built in a powerful l frame of the correct size. When you read the breed standard this dog is what
you should see. I could find nothing that was not correct, and something that the breed is lacking at


the moment. His personality shone through. A close decision between him and the second but
today he scored on movement over the second in the class but his day had come and I was
delighted to award him the DOG CC and BIS.

2. Ch Lynnsto Man About Town. (Lewis). A dog I have admired from the ringside, and was not
disappointed when I went over him. So typical of what the breed should be and well deserves his
title. Has all the essentials.

3. Ch Hillstead Same Again. (Fox).

VETERAN DOG OR BITCH. Juanne Gin ‘n Soda. (Milner). A lively 11 year old enjoying her day out.
Sweet bitch moving freely around the ring.

SPECIAL BEGINNERS BITCH. 1. Carlola Showgirl.(Windram). Not really enjoying herself today.
Feminine bitch with correct head, but needs to grow a new jacket.

MINOR PUPPY BITCH. What a nice class of babies to judge and no doubt the will change places many
times as the mature at different rates. Both first and second were of an excellent type with lovely
heads and expressions. Beautiful shoulders and toplines. Excellent hard coats. Both moved round
the ring with real drive. I shall watch their careers with interest.

1. Matheron For’n Affair With Duskhunter. (Minett) Best Puppy in Show
2. Leonhards Chasing Snow With Charosmack. (Dunne)
3. Throzow Forget Me Not. (Foster).

JUNIOR BITCH. 1 . Gilbri Town Gossip. (Gale). Stood alone in the class, but what quality. Impressed
me immediately she entered the ring. So feminine, beautiful head and eyes, excellent shoulders,
great rear end that she used to effect to drive around the ring. Young she may be , and I hope a star
for the future. Bitch CC and Best Opposite Sex in Show.

NOVICE BITCH.

1. Reifrandies Muirne.(Mealing). Pretty bitch who showed freely. Good coat and construction but
presentation could have been better.

2. Juanne Latin Lindi Louise. (Milner). Totally overawed by the table. After a little coaxing I managed
to get her to relax a little. She needs to be very sympathetically handled.

POST GRADUATE BITCH. 1. Bellevue Day Dream at Leodhas. (Lewis). Lovely bitch to go over.
Feminite head and expression, good neck and shoulders leading into a level topline, which she held
on the move.

2. Branquin Beginning a Dream (Davison) A sixe taller and not as good in coat as the first.

3. Cochansa Dales Pride. (Windram)


LIMIT BITCH. 1. Brychdyn Carrie On Swifdon. (Morton). Beautiful bitch, stands and shows naturally.
Excellent type well constructed , lovely coat. Beautiful head and expression. True West Highland
Terrier.

2. Lingbeck Playing The Lady. ( Smith). Love this bitch, she is all quality, but today had to give way to
a bitch that was showing her sock off!

3. Maxula Box of Tricks. (Noyce).

OPEN BITCH. 1. Ch Comdale Miss January at Hillstead. (Fox). Well constructed bitch with great ring
presence. Good on the move with lovely bone, neck shoulders and rear. Excellent coat and
presentation. Just had to give way to the younger bitch today. RES BITCH CC.

2. Brychdyn Remarque. ( Hughes) Slightly bigger that the first. Very well constructed, moved with
animation as a West Highland should. Could do with less coat and them she should trouble the best.

3. INT/ FIN/ SWE/ EST Who’s Hot And Who’s Cold. (West, Lehtonen & Hotanen)
