WEST HIGHLAND WHITE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 24 Judge: Mr G Corish PGD (3,2) 1. Vysniauskiene’s Harvey Baltoji Aurora at Cherryleague. Ok for size, nice in neck and shoulder, good top-line and tail set, nice in hindquarters, pleasing in head and expression, nice small ears, front could be a little straighter, moved out well in profile. LD (3,1) 1. Britten’s Krisma Fine Fettle. A lovely dog to go over on the table, good reach of neck, short coupled, masculine in head with dark eyes and strong muzzle, very good top-line, still on the young side but well assured, well handled to win the RDCC. 2. Bouwhuis/Hamilton’s Llovall Adam at Ladyleigh. A short and cobby dog shown in good hard coat, his head is balanced with a nice dark eye, ears are small but could be a touch higher placed, ok in neck and shoulder and moves out well in profile. OD (6,1) 1. Zaccariello’s It Ch. Zackshine High Technology. A dog I judged in Italy when he was younger and has matured well, all male without coarseness, short and cobby, super in neck and shoulder, good top-line, very good in front, well ribbed, superbly presented, really moved out well to win DCC & BOB. 2. Gale’s Bellevue Street Trader. Stronger male and wouldn’t want him any heavier, having said that again short and stocky, in super coat well presented, well ribbed, good in front both standing and moving, not quite as good in head and expression as my winner but moved ok and was well presented. 3. Thomson’s Ch. Ashgate Kelvin JW. PB (1) 1. Thomson’s Hillcloud Echowave by Ashgate. Very feminine young lady, immature as you would expect, she has a very good coat texture, her neck and shoulder are good and also her top-line and tail set, moves well in profile but not so good in front, BP. JB (4) 1. Burns’ Burneze Mad About The Girl. A very showy young bitch, stands and presents herself well, she is short and cobby, very feminine in head, nice dark eye, small neat ears, her coat needs a lot of attention at this time, BJ. 2. Stankiene/Stankus’ Vivolunar Impres Me. I liked the head and expression on this young bitch, in super coat, little longer in body to my winner, she is ok in neck and shoulder and holds herself well on the move. 3. Vysniauskiene’s Nina Ricci Blataj at Cherryleague. PGB (2,1) 1. Bartlett’s Blos’ Special Girl. A much smaller type than my ideal but was ok in neck and shoulder, top-line is good, well ribbed, her coat is of a good texture. LB (5) 1. Britten’s Krisma Winter Sun. Very feminine with a lovely head, nice small ears, very good in front, good bone, good reach of neck, sound coming and going, could just put a bit more effort into profile movement. 2. Bouwhuis’ Llovall All By My Self. Slightly different in type to my winner being a little lower to ground, very nice to go over, ok in head and expression, just doesn’t hold her outline on the move. 3. Gale’s Bellevue Jump for Joy at Bocans. OB (4,1) 1. Noyce’s Maxula Vanilla Ice Cream. This bitch has a very good overall balance, good in neck and shoulder, good top-line and tail set, good in hindquarters, quite lovely in head and expression, hard white coat beautifully presented, moved out so well and well deserved the CC which I’m told makes her a Champion, BCC. 2. Storey’s Ch. Lizandycris The New Hope for Nossimp. This bitch was slightly different in overall balance but still of a lovely type, good in neck and shoulder, well ribbed, head is well balanced with nice dark eye giving true Westie expression, moves out well in profile, just a little close in front, RBCC. 3. Cavallini’s Multi/It Ch. Zackshine Royal Santinumi for Alekos. Geoff Corish |
