WEST HIGHLAND WHITE SOUTH WALES 10 Judge(s) JULIE COLEY DCC BELLEVUE GOING DUTCH WITH PRYORVALE (MRS S MACBEAN) West Highland White Terriers MPD (7) 1 West’s Tomlyndon Spoilt Rotten, strong boned puppy with deep ribs, harshest of coats. Needs head furnishings to complete picture, but his strong rearend which he used well on the move won the class. BP; 2 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandychris Devilin Disguise, liked the expression on this puppy, well balanced, level topline & good tailset. Not the strength of bone as 1. PD (1) 1 West’s Tomlyndon Spoilsport, masculine puppy, strong muzzle with good shape head, excellent rear & moved OK. JD (2) 1 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandychris Out To Play, quite rangy, but I think with maturity will be a strong free moving male; 2 Gaydon’s Gilbri Stars And Stripes, good outline when stacked, but lost it on the move. Not the free movement of 1, but very well presented. GD (1) 1 Geldart’s Gelmoore Troubadour, harsh coated dog, just carrying too much weight which spoilt his outline & movement. PGD (4) 1 Soar’s Sonjay Fast Forward, close decision between 1 & 2. Just preferred the angulation & overall balance of 1; 2 Noyce’s Maxula Name Of The Game, preferred the head shape of this dog & coat condition. Just lost out on shoulders to 1. LD (4) 1 Ash’s Hillcloud Blizzard, masculine dog, lovely neck with good deep ribs, tail well set. Muzzle had width, but would have liked a stronger bite. RCC; 2 Lewis’ Lynnsto Man About Town, I liked this dog, still needs to mature to achieve his full potential. Head furnishing detract from his balance. He could carry head a little higher, but overall a nice dog. OD (3) 1 Macbean’s Bellevue Going Dutch with Pryorvale, good head shape, but ears could be set higher. Clean shoulders with deep ribs level back, held his shape well on the move. CC; 2 Hill & Wilson’s Ch Olton Aye Sweater Man, good type of WHWT, keen expression, strong body. Just wish he would use rearend more when on the move. MPB (3,1a) 1 Lilly & Milling’s Lilmill Pocket Rocket, well balanced puppy with sweet expression, her confident good movement won this class; 2 Noyce’s Maxula Make A Promise, excellent pigment with strong bite. A pity she did not want to show her clean attributes to the full on the move. PB (2,1) 1 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandycris Aint She Sweet, lovely dark well set eyes & good ear placement, clean shoulders with deep ribs, strong rear & very well presented. JB (4,2) 1 Thomson’s Ashgate Miss Mona, pretty bitch with harsh coat, short coupled & moved well. 2nd CAROMAGIC SHOOTING STAR (MR D & MRS C PIKE) PGB (7,2) 1 Lilley & Millings’ Lilmill Potty Dotty, well angulated clean shoulders, but a little wide in front. Good tailset & moved with real drive & animation; 2 Corri’s Inverglen Sophie, strong head as always from this exhibitor, deep ribs & short coupled. LB (3) 1 Ash’s Hillcloud Drizzle, cobby feminine bitch, good layback with strong topline & moved very well; 2 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Bramble, good neck & shoulders, but spoilt herself on the move. OB (9,1) 1 Molony’s Killynether Krazy For You, strong, but still feminine, well balanced with the leg length I like to see, straight front, beautiful head proportions, kept her great shape with ears & tail up on the move. CC & BOB; 2 Gaydon’s Ch Bellvue Town Flirt at Gilbri, close decision between 1 & 2, I have always liked this bitch’s attitude, she has a better coat than 1, but lost out on head. RCC. JULIE COLEY |
