WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE SCOTTISH BREEDS 15

West Highland White Terriers

It was an honour to be asked to judge at Scottish Breeds ch show & my two stewards were fantastic, looked after me & kept everything running smoothly.

The mouths were good & skin & coats were all OK. I was thrilled to see my BOB go through to RBIS & my BP achieve BPIS.

I flew home on a high & felt we had made new history & a big thank you to all the exhibitors who braved the weather to support me.

2 Kinnaird’s Pepperknowe Och-Aye-The-Noo, the same comments as for 1. Not a lot to choose between these two except he was a little more hesitant on the move.

2 Strand’s Crinan Code Name Westlake, good head, well filled under eyes, good pigmentation, good front & level topline, tail bang on top, moved with confidence. 1 & 2 could change places on another day, just preferred movement of 1;

3 Dale’s Hopecharm Ed Turner at Lynnsto.

OD (6)

1 Hughes’ Brychdyn Diamond Geezer, good strong dog from head to tail, good head & expression, pigmentation superb. Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders & level topline, tail bang on top, good rear angulation, movement excellent. CC & BOB & went on I am pleased to say to RBIS;

2 Corri’s Inverglen Lord Of The Manor, another very strong dog with all the attributes of 1. It was splitting hairs & they could change places any other time. On the day it was movement that made my decision. RCC;

3 Engelbrecht’s Int/Multi Ch Hopcharm Prince Harry.

VB (3,1)

1 Smith’s Lingbeck Leading Lady, well presented 8 years old, good head to tail, moved well, nice outline on the move & well groomed;
