WEST HIGHLAND WHITE SCOTTISH BREEDS 11 Judge(s) MRS J FARMER DCC HAVASU HOT RODD VIA DUNCABURY ( MRS M OWENS) West Highland White Terriers Quality entry. One thing to watch is mouths. I feel they are a lot worse than the last time I judged. VD (1) 1 Dingley’s Ch Davot Chivalrous Chap, good shape & balance, masculine head, good eye, straight front, well placed shoulders, strong hindquarters used to move soundly, good condition for age. MPD (2) 1 Dingley’s Davot Chevie Chaser, alone, masculine head & expression, dark eye & well placed ears used to best effect, good pigmentation, sound hindquarters, moved well. PD (2) 1 Jennings’ Comdale Smooth Operator, quality freestanding puppy, look forward to watching progress, good head, mouth & pigmentation, dark eye & neat ears, good neck & shoulder, good angulation showed on the move, tail on top, kept outline on the move. BP & BPIS; 2 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Arlo, mature with lots to like, good head & mouth, straight front, correct shoulders & strong hindquarters, harsh coat. Needs time to settle. JD (1) 1 Johnston’s Glenveagh Fibber Mcgee, worthy winner, cobby, has all essentials, good head & expression, straight front, good layback of shoulder, powerful hindquarters used to drive round the ring, tail on top, good coat. ND (1) 1 Forbes’ Karensbrae Independence, good coat & pigmentation, nice head & short tail, moved at one with young handler. PGD (6) 1 Taylor’s Flassendale Fairlie, compact with good shape & balance, needs to be handled to be appreciated, good head & expression, harsh coat, moved true with tail on top; 2 Jenkins’ Havasu Hugo Boss, smart, eyecatching dog with lovely outline when stacked, good head, front & shoulder, moved with tail on top. Longer cast than 1; 3 Jenkinson’s Highcross Willie Be Charmed. LD (6) 1 Lewis’ Lynnsto Man About Town, very smart & showy, in lovely condition, good head, dark eye, neat ears & correct bite, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, short coupled & deep rib, strong muscular hindquarters powering round the ring with tail on top. RCC; 2 Millen’s Sarmac Starlite Express, needs to be handled to be appreciated, masculine head, correct front & shoulder, good coat & pigmentation, free & easy movement, very alert & aware of what is going on around him; 3 Smith’s Lorbri Sweet Talkin Guy. OD (2) 1 Owens’ Havasu Hot Rodd via Duncabury, have admired from ringside & wasn’t disappointed on handling, freestanding & typical, nothing exaggerated, masculine head & expression, small dark eye & good pigmentation, short coupled, well ribbed, good front & layback of shoulder, good angulation & moved with drive, tail on top completed picture, correct coat, well presented & handled. CC, BOB & G4; 2 Dale’s Lynnsto Barclaycard, another quality dog, has all essentials, masculine head, strong muzzle, well laid shoulder, level topline, well muscled hindquarters, harsh coat, very well presented. VB (1) 1 Windram’s Barnwin Im Daisy May, cobby with good shape & balance, feminine head & expression, short back, sound hindquarters, moved freely, harsh coat. MPB (4) 1 Gaydon’s Gibri Royal Sapphire, confident, showy puppy, caught my eye on entering ring, very alert, good front, neck & shoulder, short back, moved freely keeping lovely outline, at one with handler; 2 Cooper’s Brorastar Words Of Love, cobbier type than 1 with lots to like, good head & expression, well bodied, moved soundly, harsh coat; 3 Kinnaird’s Gilbri Ruby Tuesday at Peppleknowe. PB (4) 1 Gaydon’s Gilbri Spannish Rose, eyecatching puppy, beautiful feminine head & expression, correct bite, straight front, lovely neck & shoulder, short back, sound hindquarters, moved freely, lovely coat; 2 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Opal, like her type, lovely outline when stacked, good front & lovely shoulder placement, sound hindquarters. Needs to settle on move to complete picture; 3 Hughes’ Brychdyn Remarque. JB (4) 1 Lancaster’s Clanestar Cloudchasing, have admired from ringside, very elegant with good front, neck & shoulder, feminine head & expression, plenty behind tail, good coat, free moving. Just wish would show more enthusiasm; 2 Smith’s Lingbeck Playing The Lady, free showing with lots to like, pretty head & sweet expression, good front & topline, moved jauntily with tail on top; 3 Davison’s Braxquin Beginning A Dream. NB (2) 1 Ladhams & Rudd’s Juraspirit Mint Julip, alone, cobby, short coupled, correct mouth, well muscled, moved & showed well. PGB (7) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Platinum, showy young lady with all essentials, attractive feminine head with neat, well placed ears, nice reach of neck, well laid shoulders, short level back, compact body & good hindquarters, moved well, beautifully presented; 2 Dingley’s Davot Chinoa, very similar to 1 with all attributes, good head & expression, short coupled, well constructed rear, good coat. Not quite enthusiasm of 1; 3 Millen’s Sarmac Sweet Sensation. LB (10) 1 Reidie’s Ashridgelee Miss Attitude, balanced, upstanding bitch in lovely coat & condition, super head & mouth, nice reach of neck, short back, good angulation & moved with lots of energy & drive, short tail carried correctly; 2 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Bramble, not the confidence of 1. Lovely outline when stacked, feminine head & expression, good neck, clean well laid shoulders, well angulated quarters; 3 Strand’s Westlake Pearly Lady. OB (4) First two will changes places on many occasions. 1 Gaydon’s Ch Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri, quality bitch in excellent coat & condition, beautiful head & expression, dark eye, correct mouth & neat ears used to advantage, straight front, good neck, well placed shoulders, deep ribbed & short coupled, well muscled quarters, moved with great freedom, tail on top, worthy ch. CC; 2 Jennings’ Llovall As Mama Said to Comdale, cobbier type than 1 but with all attributes. Good outline, lovely head & dark eye, short coupled, good front & layback, level topline, deep rib, good angulation & moved with drive, tail on top, her day will come.
