WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE SCOTTISH BREEDS 10

West Highland White Terriers

A good entry. Quite surprised to find some small teeth, this needs to be watched. Also strong quarters lacking on some exhibits.

VD (1)

1 Hayton’s Highcross Haytime at Pedrohay, 11 months, strong boned, good head & eye, harsh jacket, good shoulders, moved steadily with drive, lovely condition for his age, enjoying his day, a pleasure to go over him.

MPD (9)

1 Gaydon’s Gilbri Stars And Stripes, 8 months, promising puppy, good head, defined stop, varminty expression, lovely harsh jacket, undercoat, well bodied. When settled should do well. Lots to like about him, will watch his progress;

2 Dale’s Lynnsto Gold Card, 6 months baby, lots of potential, has all the essentials needed at this age. Super expression, good pigment, presentation handling A1. Will watch with interest;

3 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandychris Out To Play.

PD (2,1a)

1 Edmondson’s Peppaby Prank, 10 months, strongly built puppy, strong head, skull, neat ears, dark eye, lovely expression, good layback of shoulders, level topline. Coat not his fortune at the moment, just needs time. My reason for him not gaining BP overall.

JD (2)

1 Cooper’s Brorastar Super Trouper, well bodied youngster, good head, neck & eye, well laid shoulders, level topline, good ribcage, excellent quarters, moved with drive, well presented & handled;

2 Pearson’s Winoski Mr Chips, not as short coupled as 1. Strongly made, good head & mouth, bend of stifle, moved out well. To be critical coat not his fortune & needs some attention. There is lots to like about him, just needs time.

ND (0).

PGD (7,3)

1 Milner’s Juanne the Latch Key, well bodied, lovely head, stop, excellent jacket, good expression, right length of neck into well laid shoulders, lovely straight front, level topline, excellent rearend, tail well set, good bend of stifle, moved well & with drive, never put a foot wrong, lots to admire about this exhibit, a pleasure to go over him;

2 Purchon’s Lindenka Sullivan, up to size but well balanced, not as short coupled as 1. Good head, eye, expression, strong jaw, lots to like about this boy. Did not put all in as I know he can, he lacked his usual sparkle. Pleased to go over him;
