SOUTHERN WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER CHAMPSHIP SHOW 2025
Firstly I thank the acting chairman, Mr Thomas Davison for his opening address, and for the calling for a few respectful moments of silence, from members , in memory of the extremely sad loss of long term, hard working , Club Hon. Secretary , Mrs Marion Smewin , who without doubt will most sincerely be very sadly missed at this years , 2025, 42ndChampionship Show , and of course in many future times to come
My own Appreciation also to , Paul Carlin, my individual ring steward of the day, who in the absence of further support from other committee members, contributed very significantly towards this year’s annual , sad , and very depleted event. I thank also, Acting Club Secretary, Liz Gillott, for stepping in to organize2025 proceedings , this together with her mother, Jenny, for her catering contribution, both ladies with little support placed shoulders to the wheel at the last minute .
Thanks also to those members who made a very special effort to attend the event, plus protect their canine companions , on what was one of the hottest days for travelling during 2025
My principle winners were as follows -
Although the numbers entered were far away from those who have supported the Southern Club Events over the years ,I , for one distinctly remember a, Juanne Bitch, taking a second place from an entry of 41, in the Post Gradulate Bitch Class, under the then gaze of Judge, Brian Squires , it was none the less very pleasing indeed to be able to cast my own eyes over a second to none , 2025 High Quality Entry . The Limit Dog Exhibit , Mr A. Gordon ‘s, Hopecharm Fizzing Whizzbee ,
