WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE SKC OCTOBER 23

Thank you to my splendid stewards mother and daughter Fiona Miller and Carabelle Haslam

OD (5,2)

The first of just two classes of dogs but all with the wow factor!

1 Thomson’s Ashgate Kelvin. A thrill to see such a handsome dog in the first class. A charming character of just 2 years old and fully mature in good harsh jacket and hard muscular condition with the best of pigment. Well shaped head and dark expressive eye. So true to type, well balanced and strongly built, of excellent size, make and shape with good layback of shoulder, turn of stifle, depth of chest and level topline. This all resulting in the best of movement holding himself with pride and driving strongly from his hocks with good extension in profile. CC which, I was delighted to hear, was his third to give him his title. Many congratulations!

2 Dale’s Phoenix Superbia Lynnsto. Another beautiful dog and so immaculately presented in a harsh white jacket. A great showman, holding his strong neck with deserved pride. Well balanced with good topline, tailset and carriage. RCC the 5th such award to add to his CC.

3 Fryer & Thomson’s Smash White Nights (Imp Swe)

VD (2,1)

1 Fisher’s Bobo Whiskey Well balanced and making light of his 11 years. He has a good layback of shoulder and obviously enjoyed his day out, moving with great enthusiasm, BV

PB (2)

1 Burns’ Burneze Mad About the Girl and how well named is she! Just 7 months old and quite entrancing. Beautiful head with the most alert intelligent expression in her dark eyes. Well balanced of lovely size, type, make and shape, scoring here on her layback of shoulder. Most impressive on the move, strong and free with good extension in profile, holding her topline. A showgirl as to the Manor Born. BP and thrilled to hear she went on to PG1 and then RBPIS. Many congratulations!

2 Chambers’ Circinus Dreaming All Day. 8 months old with lovely dark eyes and pigment. Just a touch longer in foreface than the winner. She moved extremely well. The promise is all there.

JB (2)

1 Dale’s Lynnsto Killer Queen. 12 months old and such a smart energetic mover. Well balanced with good layback of shoulder. Very feminine , dark eyes and pigment with a very charming expression.

2 Bell’s Maxmadadh Mila Mariposa. 15 months old with a most appealing expression in her dark eyes. Although the winner scored on shoulder angulation, she moved well with good tailset and carriage.

PGB (4)

1 Crozier’s Dalskairth Glamis Girl. 4 year old with lovely head and eye, excellent topline and balance. Well made all through with good layback of shoulder and strong quarters. Proud of herself, she moved very well.

2 Pearson’s Hopecharm New Beginnings for Winoski. 20 months old in good harsh jacket.Charming expression, dark eyes and pigment.

3 Bell’s Elena Maxmadadh Midsummer Mist

LB (3,1)

1 Noyce’s Maxula Vanilla Ice Cream. Well balanced 2 year old with beautiful head, eye and expression. So good for make, shape, size and type with excellent tailset and layback of shoulder. So well presented in good harsh jacket and hard condition. So impressive both standing and on the move. RCC

2 Cawley & House’s Ashgate Kirtle. Litter sister to the DCC and not as mature as yet. Full of fun, enjoying herself to the full, playing to the ringside and throwing up her front feet with over-enthusiasm while driving strongly from behind. Her turn will surely come.

OB (4)

1 Burns’ Ch Burneze All in One. So well named as she does indeed have it all. Utterly beautiful 3 year old and, I see, champion bred. Lovely head, eye and expression, chock full of quality and type. Well balanced with good depth of chest, topline layback of shoulder and strong firm quarters. Superbly presented, in the best of coat and condition, holding herself with great pride and a joy to watch both standing and on the move. Not only such a great showgirl herself but proving to be an extremely successful producer being dam of the outstanding BP. CC, her 18th, BOB & G3

2 Edmonson’s Ch Highcross Prosecco at Pepabby. Neat and well balanced with level topline, good tailset and carriage in harsh mature jacket and hard muscular condition. Excellent mover.

3 Griffiths’ Ch Holiday Romance Vixen at Karamynd (Imp Pol)

VB (2,1)

1 Pearson’s Braxquin One In A Million for Winoski. 7 years old with excellent mouth, on the stout side. She moved willingly and well.

SBB (2)

1 D.Glamis Girl, BSB 2 Bell’s Maxmadadh Madness of Muse. 2 years old with dark expressive eyes and good pigment, in harsh textured coat. A good mover.
