WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE SKC OCTOBER 22

Puppy Dog (1,0)

1st Fryer’s Hopecharm Northern Star. 9 months of age. Stunning head, with correct dome and stop, excellent dentition. Perfect ear set and dark almond shaped eye lending to the typical expression. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders, clean in front with good bone, excellent substance and muscle tone for his young age, excelled in rear assembly, and moved sound, with purpose and drive. Harsh white double coat. BPIB.

Junior Dog (2,0)

1st Thomson’s Ashgate Kelvin. Have watched this young boy grow over the summer and he is becoming a strong and very honest dog. 13 months, strong head, excellent dentition, overall excellent balance and general substance, good in rear assembly, moved soundly.

2nd Smith’s Faymar Tartan Rapper. Yearling, just out of puppy, and on first view was the apparent class winner, however today he did not wish to be examined on the table. I do hope his owner carries on, as he is a stunning boy. Excelled in head, and dentition looked sound for what I could get close to, had excellent overall balance, moved soundly.

Limit Dog (3,1)

1st Smith’s Lingbeck The One And Only. 4 year old boy with overall great substance and moved soundly, good in head and expression, and was presented as more the finished article than 2.

2nd Jenkinson’s Highcross Buddy Holly. 3 year old male, good head and expression, excellent in dentition, moved ok.

Open Dog (3,0)

1st Davison’s Hopecharm Midnight Cowboy For Braxquin. Stunning dog. Excelled in head, well domed, prominent stop, strong jaws with large teeth of correct bite. Dark almond eye with the keenest of expressions, and presented in excellent harsh white jacket, and excellent overall substance and balance. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders, excellent rear assembly, moved with purpose and drive, keeping shape and balance on the move as well as stood. Delighted to award him his first CC and BOB.

2nd Zaccariello’s CH & Int CH Violent Warrior Vertagus. Very attractive dog, strong head, correct domed skull, stop and piercing almond shaped eye giving top the correct expression, strong neck leading to well laid shoulders, compact in body, and excellent in substance and condition, moved sound. Today I preferred the overall balance of my CC winner. RCC.

3rd Jenkins’, Owens’ and Crockett’s DK CH Hot Pursuit Havasu.

Veteran Dog (1,0)

1st Fisher’s Bobo Whisky. 10 years of age, and looking well for it. Few teeth missing however evidence of a existing correct mouth, correct dome of skull, stop and ear set lending to correct piercing typically terrier expression, clean in front, and moved well. Would benefit from a bit more weight on him.

Junior Bitch (3,0)

1st Griffith’s Holiday Romance Vixen At Karamynd. Feminine head, lovely expression, ok in ear set. Excellent in dentition, and excelled in shoulder, excellent balance throughout, maintaining her feminine appearance, moved soundly with drive and purpose, considered for RCC however felt needed more maturity.

2nd Smith’s Faymar Secret Flirt. Lovely balanced bitch, but having some nerves, excelled in head and dentition, lovely clean front, well angulated rear quarters, and moved sound.

3rd Mitchell’s Newvoldemort Just Like Me At Frazandmitch.

Post Graduate Bitch (1,0)

1st Crozier’s Dalskairth Glamis Girl. Lovely head with correct ear set, dome, stop and dark almond eye, giving her the best of expressions. Good in shoulder and has an excellent coat. Ok in rear assembly, moved well.

Limit Bitch (4,2)

1st Smith’s Lingbeck Hold The Dream. Lovely headpiece with correct expression, a strong yet feminine head, overall good balance, and general substance, moved well.

2nd Jenkinson’s Highcross Pandora. Good in head but would prefer keener expression, nice front and ok in rear, well moving.

Open Bitch (4,0)

1st Fryer’s Smash Sparkling Rose From Hopecharm. Strong yet feminine bitch with excellent overall substance and balance. Excelled in head, correctly domed, with good stop, well set ears, and dark almond eye giving her the best of expressions. Strong and well defined neck leading to well laid shoulders, excelled in coat, harsh and white. Excellent rear assembly and moved sound. CC.

2nd Davison’s Smash Victoria Secret. Another Swedish import from the same kennel. Lovely head and expression, excelled in dentition, with large clean teeth of correct bite, strong neck leading to well laid shoulders, excelled in overall substance in body, and excellent harsh white coat, beautifully presented. Moved soundly, with drive and purpose. RCC.

3rd Berry’s Let’s Play Vertagus With Ashgate (IMP POL).

4th Edmondson’s Highcross Prosecco At Pepabby.

Sp Beginners Bitch (2,1)

1st Crozier’s Dalskairth Braemar Belle. OK in head, ok mouth, loved her expression. Good in shoulder and rear assembly, however rear assembly is not shown in the trimming which made her look straight, which she is not. Front movement a bit flicky, she is slightly shorter in upper arm than I would prefer.
