WEST HIGHLAND WHITE SKC MAY 11 Judge(s) MRS F A SOMERFIELD DCC CH LAMSMORE FITZWRITIN (MR A GORDON) West Highland White Terriers MPD (1) 1 Bell’s Pentangle Aramis, well grown, god bone, well bodied, dense coat, moved out well. Needs to learn to have his mouth looked at & is a little lazy in ears. Nice outline & strength in hindquarters. PD (1) 1 Britten’s Walk The Line vom Deipen Brook to Krisma, most promising quality puppy, pleasing for size, shape & balance. Good head, lovely eyes, nice neck, shoulders, topline, tailset & carriage. Naughty on the move but has the spirit a puppy should have. BP. JD (2) 1 Burns’ Burneze Dizzee Rascal, full of character on the move. Well formed head, good nose & haw. Needs time to develop in front & coat texture. Good topline. PGD (4) 1 Jenkinson’s Highcross Willie Be Charmed, good moving masculine dog, compact, typical head & furnishings, good body & rib, nice thighs, good bone & coat texture; 2 Taylor’s Flassendale Fairlie, very pleasing head, nice neck, shoulders & shape, moved well. Still needs a little more maturity; 3 Pearson’s Winoski Mr Chips. LD (4) 1 Edmondson’s Pepabby Prank, very smart, well balanced dog, good neck, topline & tail, very good head & pigment, moved out well. Coat not just at its best but well deserved his RCC; 2 McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Living Legend, good body & rib, neat ears, nice coat texture, showed well; 3 Millen’s Sarmac Starlite Express. OD (4) 1 Gordon’s Ch Lamsmore Fitzwritin, excellent dog, lovely head & expression, so well balanced, well coupled, good quarters, moved & showed well, in splendid coat & condition. CC, BOB & G4 in a splendid terrier group; 2 Corri’s Inverglen Banjo, very good head & pigment, compact, good topline & tail, nice coat texture, pleasing forehand. Could be a little more collected in hindquarters; 3 Dale’s Lynnsto Barclaycard. MPB (4) 1 Burns’ Burneze Plan Bea, very smart promising baby, good head & eyes, nice neck, shoulders, topline & tailset, full of character; 2 Kinnaird’s Gilbri Ruby Tuesday at Peppleknowe, feminine, nicely made, good for balance, nice head. Nose pigment not yet at its best. Particularly good mover; 3 Bell’s Pentangle Penny Lane. PB (2) 1 Hunt’s Kellethrigg Serenade Girl, very nice West Highland enjoying herself & showing promise for the future. Good head, nice topline & tail, well made firm hindquarters; 2 Steemson’s U’Cant Catcher by Bocans, nice feminine baby, pleasing head & eyes, nicely balanced. Not happy today but moved soundly. JB (3) 1 Crozier’s Dalskairth Skyes Spirit, not presented in good enough coat for show but she is a West Highland & although she needs experience & training she has no health or soundness faults as far as I could see, typical head. I hope her owner can get advice. PGB (9) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Platinum, very attractive & feminine, good head, nice neck, shoulders, topline & tailset, moved & showed well, nicely presented; 2 Hunt’s Kellethrigg Snowflake Lass, feminine, pleasing head, good eyes & ears, well coupled, nice body & rib, moved & showed well; 3 Smith’s Lingbeck Playing The Lady. LB (6) 1 Corri’s Inverglen Sophie, I liked her very much, is well balanced with the scope to move well. Lovely head, good neck, shoulders & front, nice topline & tailset, showed well. CC; 2 Burns’ Burneze Truly Talented, very striking, good showgirl, compact, good tailset & carriage, well made strong hindquarters. Could be a little better in shoulders & front; 3 Steemson’s Bocans Fancy That. OB (4) 1 Hands’ Crinan Celesta, lovely typy bitch, good for size, shape & femininity, good head, pleasing neck, firm hindquarters. Not just as clean in topline. RCC; 2 Steemson’s Bocans Playing With Fire, bigger bitch, not just as good in tail. Pleasing head & ears, good coat, nice chest & rib, moved out well; 3 Blijileven’s Int Ch Hopecharm Dutch Girl.
