WEST HIGHLAND WHITE RICHMOND 21 Judge: Tom H Johnston M.Phil (Feldkir PD (1) 1 Lewis’ Inspie Starshine Fella. Nice puppy, good head, dark eye and well placed ears, straight forelegs, level back, good width in rear quarters, tail carried well, white harsh coat. Moved well fore and aft. 1 Fox & Fox’s Hillsted Same Difference. Most promising, well made, with a good shape standing foursquare, good head shape with good shape of ears, moderate neck into well shaped body, elbows well in, compact level back, good muscle in rear quarters, pleasing tail placement, moved well keeping a lovely topline, harsh coat. RCC. 2 Thomson’s Lynnsto Full Circle With Ashgate. Another nice youngster with good head and eye, well placed erect ears, pleasing reach of neck into well placed shoulders, compact body with level back, broad short loin, tail carried jauntily, harsh coat, good rear and profile movement. 1 Davison’s Hopecharm Midnight Cowboy For Braxquin. Well balanced with pleasing overall proportions, balanced head, dark eye, neat ear shape, good straight bone and round strong feet, moderate reach of neck, good depth of body and short loin, well placed tail, good rear quarters, harsh coat. Kept a nice topline on the move. 2 Tadhunter’s Otto The Maverick Prince.Nicely shaped head with good muzzle and neat ears, moderate neck, compact body with strong rear quarters, coat at different stages but harsh, kept a nice topline on the move but just preferred the front of my winner. 1 Gale’s Bellevue Street Trader. Larger dog with well proportioned head, nicely pointed ears, good nose black and large, strong muzzle, straight forelegs, good width in front, level back, loins broad and strong, moderate angulation in rear quarters, harsh coat, good overall movement. 1 Burns & Burns’ Burneze I’m Still Standing. This young dog had a fabulous head, medium sized dark eye and neat erect ears carried firmly. He is well constructed and in great body condition, has good shoulder placement and elbows well set in, forelegs short and muscular, compact level back with good strong short loin and good muscle in the rear. Moved so well with reach in the front and drive in the rear. Was in excellent coat and showed with such style and enthusiasm, a credit to his owners. CC & BOB. 2 Squire’s Bellevue Double Shuffle. Nicely balanced head with small erect ears, moderate stop and good muzzle shape, moderate reach of neck into compact body with a good topline and loin, adequate muscle in the rear quarters. Did not have the coat of my winner today but moved well keeping a lovely topline. 1 Thomson’s Ashgate Achray. Promising puppy with head just starting to develop nicely. Alert with neat erect ears, good bite, moderate length of neck and good width in the forequarters with straight forelegs and good bone, round strong feet, moderate ribbing, good loin and compact level body. Good tail placement and shape. Moved well with good reach and had a harsh coat just starting to develop nicely. BP. 2 Thacker’s Inspe Scintillating Gal. Another with feminine head developing well, erect pointed ears, moderate neck and bone, compact body but would prefer more shape, difficult to assess movement, could do with more ring practice. 1 Burns & Burns’ Burneze All In One. Very pleasing and typical youngster just out of puppy, developing nicely, very good head and eye, small erect ears, lovely neck into well placed shoulders, elbows well in, compact level back with good loin and rear quarters, well placed tail, lovely shelf, good reach in forward movement with excellent drive behind, harsh white coat. Now just needs time to mature on and settle a little more. 2 Davison’s Smash Victoria Secret (Imp). Head nicely balanced with neat ears but not the head furnishing of winner at present, moderate neck, and straight forelegs, good topline, loin and rump, harsh coat, good profile on the move but at present not the reach of my winner today. 1 Edmondson’s Highcross Prosecco At Pepabby. Most promising youngster with lovely balanced head with medium eye and small well placed ears, straight bone in forequarters, and good depth and width of forechest, moderate neck into well placed shoulders, good ribs, compact level back and good loin and rear quarters. Pleasing white coat of harsh texture, free straight movement with good extension in front and good drive behind keeping a lovely topline. RCC. 1 Owen’s Egremont Joy Ride. Good breed type with good shape and ear. Dark eye and has good reach of neck, good depth and well muscled. Firm hocks and well set tail. In good harsh coat with nice presentation and moved steadily fore and aft. 2 Bryant & Bryant’s Camame Summer Maiden. Good head, ears and dark eye. Ample neck, holds good topline, firm loin and well angled rear. Coat of good harsh texture. Moved with steady action holding nice profile. 1 Filmore & Filmore’s Bellevue Take A Chance With Karagem. Feminine balanced head shape with ears of good shape, good muzzle. Adequate neck. Good depth of body, firm topline and strong well built rear. Tail well set. Presented in good harsh coat. Moved with drive from rear and with nice front action. 2 Stankiene’s Newvoldemort Cookie At Vivolunar. Liked the head shape and eye, good muzzle. Moderate neck and firm topline with well set tail. Harsh coat texture, moved with good action but not as free covering as the winner. 3 Thacker’s Clavelshay Thomasina. 1 Fox & Fox’s Hillsted Sweet Destiny. Liked the nice feminine head, good head furnishings and alert expression, dark eye. Moderate neck, good bone and legs. Good topline and depth. Well built rear and good tail, presented in harsh coat and moved with good front action holding good outline. 2 Gale’s Bellevue Gossip Catcher. Another with good head shape and eye. Good ear shape and good neck into well built body. Good legs and also presented in good condition. In harsh coat and moved steadily but preferred front reach of winner. 1 Storey’s Lizandycris Dior For Nossimp. Feminine head with good skull muzzle, dark eye and nice furnishings. Well set ears. Good neck into strongly built body of good depth. Compact, level back and well set tail. Well muscled and moved with positive action holding nice picture and has good ring presence. Presented in very good harsh white jacket. BCC. 2 Fox & Fox’s Hillsted Sweet Whispers. Another very nice head but not the furnishings of winner today. Liked her expression, reach of neck and body shape. Holds firm topline, well built rear. Good harsh coat and in good condition. Moved well with nice active action. |
