WEST HIGHLAND WHITE RICHMOND 18 Judge: Mr David Shields (Wilholme) BEST OF BREED : 2195 GAYDON Mr R J & Mrs T M The Dashing Devil's Popcorn at Gilbri JW WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE RICHMOND 18 VD (1) 1 Fox's Ch Hillsted Same Again. Presented in superb order. Good size with a balanced outlook and with the harshest of jackets. Good head, well placed ears and the keenest of expressions. Well made front assembly, short backed, good tailset and strong well rounded hindquarters. A sound and positive mover, BV. 1 Hall's Brorastar Mr Kyte. Both handler and dog were at their first ever show. A good performance on the day by both and with more experience their confidence will only get better. Pleasing size of dog, strong neck set in well placed shoulders and a good level topline. Coat needs a little attention. Moved well. Two very promising youngster. 1 Squire's Bellevue Dreamed A Dream. Cracking baby who is so well made throughout and has such attitude and character for one so young. Good head, eye and expression. Lovely bone and substance, straight front, pleasing depth of chest and good width of quarters. A very sound a stylish mover. 2 Squire's Bellevue Splash Of Luck. Litter brother to the winner and has many of his siblings qualities but on the day not as forward as the winner but sure with maturity they will change places on another day. Excellent make and shape. Best of heads with a good dark eye and alert expression. Once he got into his stride moved soundly. 1 Burn's Burneze Wild At Heart. Well made young man who was but down to perfection and presented in the best of jackets. Good head shape, well set ears and good strength of jaw. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, pleasing legs and feet, strong firm topline that he held on the move and nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved well. Still needs to develop in body for the finished package but could not be denied BPD and BP on the day. 2 Lilley & Milling's Lilmill Pick Pocket. Very pleasing sort of good size and well made throughout. Balanced head with a good eye and expression. Well made front assembly, lovely depth of chest for his age and well sprung ribs. A very positive mover with good reach and drive. 1 Corri's Inverglen Master Mariner. Was very impressed with this youngster and has that varminty appearance the standard asks for. Best of heads with a good dark eye and the keenest of expressions. Pleasing reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Straight front, short compact body with well sprung ribs and strong muscular quarters. Good harsh jacket. Sound mover who can really cover the ground when he gets into his stride, Res CC. 2 Newcomb's Comdale For Your Eyes Only. Very pleasing outline and well boned throughout. Strong head with well set ears and a typical expression. Scores in neck and shoulders. Firm body, level topline and a good tailset. Moved soundly. 1 Dale's Lynnsto Special Agent. Excellent make and shape throughout and put down in superb order as always from this kennel. Good head, eye and expression, excellent pigmentation and neat well set ears. Scores in neck and shoulders, good depth of chest and well developed hindquarters. Moved well both fore and aft. 2 Anthony's Charmedautum Willis. Good size who presents a typical outlook. Pleasing head with the keenest of expressions. Short backed with a good tailset and carriage and well rounded quarters. Sound on the move. Not the finish of the winner. 1 Minett's Duskhunter Ruff Diamond. Handles well and impressed both stacked and on the move. Very well balanced throughout. Typical in head with good strength of jaw, lovely dark eye and alert expression. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Level topline and well rounded hindquarters. Soundest of movers who scored in front action in this competitive class. 2 Carlin & Gillott's Lizandycris Paco Rabin. Very pleasing sort who pushed the winner close. Good head shape, well set ears and a pleasing eye and expression. Stands on good legs and feet, excellent spring of rib, firm topline and nicely angulated quarters. Presented in a good harsh jacket, moved well. 3 Squire's The Dashing Devil's Macho Man. Testing class to judge of differing types but all with many positive breed attributes. 1 Foster's Ch Hillstead Masquerade At Thozow JW ShCM. Maybe not your stand out winner on first inspection but once you got your hands on him impressed for his overall balance and excellent conformation throughout. Best of heads with a lovely dark eye, keenest of expressions and neat ears. Scores in neck and shoulders, firm topline, excellent tailset and well rounded hindquarters that he used to advantage on the move. Best of coats, CC. 2 Thomson's Fernsunrise Fairplay To Ashgate. Lovely type of good size and presents such a typical outlook. Pleasing head, excellent pigmentation and good strength of jaw. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, excellent depth of chest, compact body and well sprung ribs. Nicely angulated hindquarters and well let down hocks. Sound on the move. Close up for top honours. 3 Keeley's Aus Ch Caspersz Chaos In The Night (Imp). 1 Fox's Ch Comdale Miss January At Hillsted. Lovely bitch from all angles. Excellent shape and built on cleaning flowing lines. Typical in head with a lovely dark eye and keen expression. Well made front standing on good legs and feet, firm level topline that she keeps on the move and good strength of quarters. Moved soundly. 1 Mitchell's Lynnsto Pandora's Box. Good size and well balanced throughout. Pleasing head, eye and expression. Short compact body, firm back with a good tailset and carriage. Once she got into her stride moved well, BSB. 1 Gaydon's Bellevue Here We Go Again. What a little cracker. Only a baby but shows much promise and sure she will have a rosy future if she continues on these lines. Best of heads with that varminty outlook and alert expression. Excellent front assembly, short backed and well developed hindquarters. Such a sound positive mover for one so young. 2 Fox's Hillsted Sweet Whispers. Another very promising young lady who once she co-operated with her handler presented a very pleasing picture both stacked and on the move. Good size, typical in head with a lovely dark eye and neat well set ears. Nicely sprung ribs for her age and well rounded quarters. Moved soundly once she got into her stride. 1 Lancaster's Clanestar Careless Moon. Well made youngster of good size with a lovely feminine outlook but has the required strength and substance to complete the picture. Pleasing head and the keenest of expressions. Best of fronts standing on good legs and feet. Lovely depth of chest for her age, strong topline and good width of hindquarters. Presented in good order. Sound on the move, BPB. 2 Lilley's Lilmill Catch Me If You Can. Pleasing make and shape throughout. Another of good size and presents a very balanced outlook. Good head with a dark eye and well set ears. Short compact body, well sprung ribs and correct tailset. Moved soundly with good reach and drive. Not the finish of the winner on the day. 1 Burn's Tweed Telling Stories (Imp). Small compact bitch who is so very well made. Pleasing head shape with the neatest of ears. Excellent front assembly, very clean over the neck and shoulders and a good straight front. Short backed, level topline that she keeps on the move and well made quarters. First class presentation and a good double coat. Moved well. 3 Thomson's Smash Strong For Victory. 1 Storey's Lizandycris Dior For Nossimp. Good size who was put down to perfection on the day. Clean outline and has a very typical appearance. Best of heads with good strength and a lovely dark eye and that sharp intelligent expression the standard asks for. Good legs and feet, well developed body, strong hindquarters and well let down hocks. Moved soundly. 3 Sweetzer's Pryorvale Christmas Rose 1 Gaydon's The Dashing Devil's Popcorn At Gilbri JW. My star of the day. Super bitch, small and compact but is so beautifully balanced throughout and has the required strength and substance to enhance the picture. Lovely head, excellent pigmentation and the best of expressions. Pleasing front assembly, good reach of neck and a lovely layback of shoulder. Short backed, excellent tailset and well rounded quarters. Presentation was first class and was in the best of coats on the day. Sound on the move, CC & BOB. 2 Corri's Frisbeck Flower Girl By Inverglen. A very sound honest bitch who presents a very typical outlook. See she is the dam of the Res.CC winning dog who she has passed on her many qualities. Pleasing head piece with a good dark eye and keen expression. Straight front standing on good legs and feet. Firm body, well ribbed and a good width of hindquarters. Moved well on a positive stride. 3 Dale's Lynnsto Evelyn All. 1 Burns' Ch Burneze Our Marnie. Quality bitch who it was a pleasure to judge and can understand the top winning she has done. Her presentation was second to none with a hard white coat which was put down to perfection on the day. Very typical in head with a lovely dark eye, black nose, neat ears and the best of expressions. Well made front, level topline that she holds on the move and nicely rounded quarters. Soundest of movers, Res CC. 2 Foster's Thozow Forget Me Not ShCM. Good size of bitch who is very well made throughout and presents a very typical outlook both stacked and on the move. Best of heads with good strength, well set ears and a pleasing expression. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, good depth of chest and a compact body. Another that was very well presented on the day with a correct double coat. Very sound both fore and aft. 3 Keely's Aus.Ch.Whitebriar Jilly 'O' The Valley (Imp). |
