WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE RICHMOND 15

West Highland White Terriers

It was a real pleasure to judge the entry, thank you for one of the best experiences I’ve had this year, OD was memorable as was JB & OB.

Many thanks to my stewards Jim & Katty Culverhouse.

VD

1 Maedlyn Summer Knight, 9 years, smart, compact dog in good coat, good head proportion. Ears a little low set. Short & correct in rib. Tail set a little low, good rear action, excellent dentition;

2 Sarmac Starlite Express, 8 years, bigger dog in very full coat. Very good eyes. Ears a little large. Still sound.

PD

1 Hillstead Masquerade at Thozon, 10 months, I would prefer him shorter coupled, but won here on coat & front. Good head proportions & good ears. Good tailset. Moved smartly to win this & his movement took him to BP;

2 Lynnsto Gunner Be A Star, 10 months, I liked his compactness & head type. I’d prefer a touch more bone & at the moment turns his feet out & this is evident in his front action. Needs a touch more body & coat;

3 Hopecharm Tony One.

PGD

1 Lilmill Nosey Parker, 2 years, wonderfully coated dog & excellent movement. A little long in foreface & ears could be neater. Won on rib, tail carriage & movement;

2 Roxholm Ready To Rumble with Salmark, 20 months I loved his type being short backed & with a head & ears which I preferred to the winners. However, lacked body on the day & not as good in front action. Excellent tailset, but a little too forward in his carriage. Has promise for the future;

3 Atelib Playing The Star.

LD

1 Bocans Bolt to Bellevue, 2 years old, very smart with excellent outline held on the move. Good head proportions, ears & eyes. Very good movement. I would prefer a harder coat;

2 Armadales Son Of A Gun at Maxula, 18 months, smart dog, not as short coupled as winner but with better coat. Ears a little wide set. A little over assertive in temperament;

3 Charmedautum Dazzle.

OD

Wonderful class of quality.

1 Ch Tomlyndon Eager Ernest, 2 years old, filled the eye for type, shape & excellent movement. Crisp coat. Excellent tail. Scored in earset to take this & CC. Full of quality;

2 Ch Brychdyn Diamond Geezer, 3 years old dog who was full of quality & a wonderful white coat & very good movement. His head proportions & eye are excellent. Ears just a little wide set. Sound moving but I preferred the carriage of the winner. RCC;

3 Serb Ch Bogarhazi Zuckini.

PB

Two very good puppies to head the class.

1 Lynnsto Issa Star, 10 months beautifully outlined bitch with great topline & tailset. Very good head & ears. She is tighter in front action but has time for that I liked her immensely. BPB;

2 Hillsted Sweet Mystery, 10 months, stronger bitch, more forward in body & a wonderful mover. Not quite as short coupled as the winner but I like her enormously & will be interested to see her in the future;

3 Bellevue Gossip Catcher.

JB

1 Burneze Geordie Girl, 14 months brought a smile to my face with her beauty. Wonderful type movement & ring presence. Excellent to headpiece & construction pleases throughout. On the move she is beautiful. An exciting prospect. Later took CC & BOB;

2 Gilbri Dream Maker, 14 months, another very good bitch & she, too, moved well. A little heavier in rib & not quite as forward in coat but excellent head & lovely type. Another who should do well. Top class duo;

3 Maedhlyn Could It Be Magic.

PGB

1 Braxquin Forget Me Not, 2 years, quality bitch of excellent size & balance& she moved out well. Good head proportions, eyes & ears. Excellent coat texture which won her the place. Could have a little more rear angulation;

2 Ambalasi Pick'N'Mix, another good bitch whose shape I liked, I preferred her head slightly to the winner but coat not as hard at the moment. Like the winner & good mover;

3 Reifrandies Furzey at Cabon.

LB

1 Dashing Devils La Diva, almost 2 years, high quality bitch with beautiful outline & very good movement. Feminine head with sufficient width & strength. Lovely ears. Good mover, just a touch firmer in topline than;

2 Gilbri Bright Star, 14 months, super moving bitch & again full of quality. A little stronger but still feminine & with great pigmentation. Pressed hard & I’m sure she will mature to a very good future;

3 Armadale's Rosebud for Karamynd.

OB

Another class full of quality bitches

1 Roxholm Reign Dance by Bocans, 22 months, beautiful type, excellent movement & a very good coat. Lovely balance throughout & carries herself smartly with excellent carriage;

2 Ch Comdale Miss January at Hillsted, 4 years, another very good bitch & an excellent mover. Very good coat. Good head proportions. I just preferred the eye of the winner but she pressed hard. Lovely balance throughout. I see is dam of BP;

3 Egremont Seventh Heaven.
