West Highland White Terriers

The weather was unkind so I decided to judge indoors. The ring however was uneven but most of the exhibits coped well. Temperaments were good, no bad mouths. The overall presentation was excellent.

1 Bailey’s Asheridgelee Causing Havoc at Lymehills, good head, strong muzzle, nice outline, very raw puppy, harsh coat, moved OK.

1 Dale’s Lynnsto Goldcard, nice type, keen expression, good topline & tailset. Feet could be better. Excellent condition.

JD (3,1a)

1 Gaydon’s Gilbri Stars And Stripes, very good head, dark eye, good pigment, nice neck, short back. Feet turned in which affected movement. Good coat;

2 Forbes’ Karensbrae Independence, good head, dark eye, upright in shoulder, short, good rear movement, pinwire coat but cream.

1 Bezuidenhout’s Lamanzie Crackerjack, very good neck & shoulders, good expression, short back, moved OK. A little feminine;

2 Ramsay’s Drambrodie Gaelic Spirit, strong back skull. A little long in foreface. Nice neck & shoulders, short back, cream coat.

1 Ash’s Hillcloud Blizzard, very sound, good headpiece, dark small eye, nice neck & topline, good coat;

2 Foster & Foster’s Thozow Good Etiquette, nice head, good neck & shoulders, short level back. Toed in behind;

3 McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Living Legend.

1 Macbean’s Bellevue Going Dutch with Pryorvale, very nice dog, great head, small dark eye, good pigment, strong teeth, excellent neck & shoulders, short well ribbed body, level topline, very good mover. CC;

2 Gordon’s Ch Lamsmore Fitzwritin, pure white, very good dog, lovely outline, good head, expression, moved well. Should have been 2 CCs in dogs today. RCC;

3 Dale’s Lynnsto Barclaycard.

1 Brockwell’s Hillsted Sitara Shines fro Jackinaspin, very pretty, good outline, nice front & good head, in good coat, moved well;

2 Fox’s Hillsted Suhana, the same applies as winner. Two nice puppies but 1 had a harsher jacket. Will change places.

1 Dale’s Lynnsto Platinum, very nice feminine youngster, good head, neck & shoulders, short back, covered the ground well, a real showgirl, in very good condition & trim as always from this breeder. BP.

1 Thomson’s Ashgate Miss Mona, good head & eye, neck flowing into well laid shoulders, lovely outline, moved OK;

2 Millen’s Sarmac Sweet Sensation, needs time. Nice front, good movement. A little unsure.

PGB (10,3)

1 Wilson & Bailey’s Lindenhall Tigerlilly at Lymehills, very nice bitch, pretty head, good neck & shoulders, short back, moved sound. Needs more finish to her coat & furnishings;

2 Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Potty Dotty, good head. A little doggy & shoulders could be better. Good eye & pigment;

3 Foster & Foster’s Thozow Sweet Violet.

1 Ash’s Hillcloud Drizzle, very good bitch, good head, short level topline, excellent front, tail on top, moved well. RCC;

2 Foster & Foster’s Thozow Sweet Pea, good head & eye, lovely outline. Moved wide in front;

3 Davison’s Benstedmanna Miellefieule at Braxquin.

OB (4,2)

1 Gaydon’s Ch Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri, the star today, she is lovely, very good head, eye & pigment, neck flowing into excellent shoulders, short well ribbed body, excellent topline & tailset, moved good both ways, in the best of coats & put down to the minute. CC & BOB;

2 Hill & Wilson’s Olton Aye Bonne Chance, nice size, good head, short back, good tailset, moved OK.
