WEST HIGHLAND WHITE PAIGNTON 09 Judge: Mrs Wendy Corri WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE PAIGNTON 09 West Highland White Terriers MPD (2,1a ) 1 Dunne’s Charosmack Cool Days, smart youngster full of potential who showed well, pleasing head, shoulders & coat, full of energy, pity that he stood alone. PD (3,2) 1 Minett’s Duskhunter For’n Connexion, mature pup for his age, well built with a pleasing head, neat ears, good mouth, enough reach of neck & good shoulder set, sturdy hindquarters with good rear angulation, just needs to tighten up in front. JD (4) 1 Minett’s Duskhunter Dutch Courage, very well built cobby youngster with a strong head, good shoulder placement & short back, moved with drive; 2 Thomson’s Ashgate McKenzie, alert young man with a good head & reach of neck, strong rear conformation, moved well, just preferred 1; 3 Dale’s Lynsto Barclaycard. PGD (7) 1 Gaydon’s Gilbri Williwontee, young man full of his own importance with a very masculine head, lovely reach of neck & well laid back shoulders, good deep chest, strong hindquarters with well flexed stifle & hocks, moves with drive from the rear; 2 Shaw’s Matheron McVitie, smaller in build than 1 but with very good head, front & shoulders, his good bend of stifle & rear angulation showed in his flowing movement, very compact little dog who showed very well; 3 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandcris Pick Of The Pack. LD (6,2) 1 Gordon’s Lamsmore Fitzwritin, this dog is prepared to perfection, superb head, deep dark eyes, neat ears & a good scissor bite, enough reach of neck leading into well laid back shoulders with short cobby body, rearquarters well angulated allowing him to really drive from the back, never stopped showing himself off. CC, BOB & G2; 2 Macbean’s Bellevue Going Dutch with Pryorvale, another super example of the breed, really well constructed with a good masculine head, deep set dark eyes & a good broad mouth, enough length of neck with good shoulder set, deep chest & short back, super tailset & lovely rear angulation, covered the ground effortlessly. RCC; 3 Dale’s Lynsto Mastercard. OD (5) 1 Hill & Wilson’s Olton Aye Sweater Man, there is nothing exaggerated about this dog but everything is correct, good head, mouth, neat ears & dark eyes, good shoulder placement, holds a level topline when on the move, showed well; 2 Abbey’s Kristajen Know It All, well constructed dog who scores in all departments. Needs to settle on the move; 3 Purchon’s Lindenka Bennington. MPB (7,1) 1 Jenning’s Llovall A Real Deal at Comdale, very feminine little bitch with an attractive head, nice length of neck & good shoulders, compact body, good coat, moved & showed well for one so young; 2 Dunne’s Charosmack Candlelight, nicely proportioned & well constructed, excels in head & bone, just needs to settle down; 3 Kabel’s Llovall And All That. PB (10) 1 Macbean’s Pryorvale My Cherie Amour, beautifully constructed little lady with a lovely head, good straight front & well laid back shoulders, really well constructed hindquarters which showed in her rear movement. BP; 2 Ash’s Hillcloud Cirrus Sky, attractive young bitch, well constructed who moved & showed well; 3 Cooper’s Brorastar Aint She Sweet. JB (9,1) 1 Gaydon’s Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri, lovely compact young bitch, feminine head, neat ears, dark eyes & excellent mouth, good reach of neck & good layback of shoulders, nice depth of rib, powerful hindquarters, moved with drive; 2 Marshall’s Lynsto Sonnett at Glorfindel, smaller bitch with pleasing head, level topline which was maintained on the move, well presented; 3 Harper’s Westigo In On The Act. PGB (15,2) 1 Purchon’s Lindenka Clancy, very pleasing & feminine head with neat ears, well made up under the eyes & an excellent scissor bite, good lay of shoulder, strong back & hindquarters, showed & was presented well; 2 Shaw’s Matheron With Attitude, very pleasing young lady with a good head, front & shoulders, tailset right on top & used all the time, well constructed hindquarters, showed very well; 3 Hunt’s Kelleth Rigg Rosehip Lass. LB (9,1) 1 Hughes’ Brychdn Kite Mark, this bitch just demanded to be noticed, she never stopped showing the whole time, lovely head very neat front, good reach of neck & well laid back shoulders, strong hindquarters with tail right on top, really well presented, well deserved CC; 2 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandcris Girl Of Action, this is another little lady demanding to be noticed, very good head, neat front & shoulders, good hindquarters, showed & presented well; 3 Lancaster’s Clanestar Careless Affair. OB (10,1) 1 Morton’s Charosmack Crystal Secret at Swifdon. lovely cobby bitch who moved & showed well, attractive head with good dark eye & correct scissor bite, nice reach of neck & good lay of shoulder, strong back, tail up on top, good bend of stifle & correct angulation. RCC; 2 Abbey’s Kristajen Know Whats What, well constructed little lady with good head, shoulders & tailset, showed & moved well; 3 Hill & Wilson’s Olton Aye Bonne Chance. WENDY CORRI
