WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 17

It was an honour to judge this show. Thank you to the Committee of National Terrier who took good care of me leading up to the show. Many thanks also to all exhibitors who showed some lovely dogs under me. It was a great pleasure.

Puppy Dog (2)

1. Jennings’ Comdale Thats Andy. Stunning boy with super head and mouth, lovely straight front with good layback of shoulder. Moved and showed so well. Crisp white coat. Presentation first class. Excellent tail set. BPIB. So pleased to see him go RBPIS.

2. Bartley’s Atelib The General. Good head. Well placed ears. Nice coat. Moved well.

Junior Dog (1)

1. Britten’s Krisma Jump Start. Just out of pup, a little raw. Good layback of shoulder, lovely harsh coat. A little naughty at times but when settled moved out well carrying his tail gaily round the ring.

Post Graduate Dog (2)

1. Purchon’s Lindenka I’m Dexter. Good head, front and shoulders. Level topline, good backend, proud of himself when stacked, just not happy on the move today.

2. Goodwin-Nolan’s Mac Without A Doubt.

Limit Dog (6, 1 abs)

1. Jenkins, Crockett & Western’s Havasu Hercule Poirot. Exuberant young boy. Great head with well placed ears. Super front, excellent shoulders, compact body, good tail set and bend of stifle. Moved and showed really well when settled. Would have liked a little more coat but still a nice lad. RDCC

2. Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Nosey Parker. Really nice type. Well balanced. Good head and mouth, excellent reach of neck running into level topline. Good tail set. Well presented in good coat. Moved well.

3. Gale’s Bocans Bolt to Bellevue.

Open Dog (6, 1abs)

1. Gillott & Carlin’s Lizandycris Line Me Up. Top class male which I liked as soon as he entered the ring. Loved the balance of this dog. In excellent condition. Super head and mouth. Correct ear placement. Excellent neck and shoulder, level topline, harsh coat, well presented without being overdone. Covered the ground with ease. CC and BOB.

2. Noyce’s Armadales Son Of A Gun (Imp). Well presented. Harsh white coat, just not the balance of 1. Moved out well.

3. Foster & Foster’s Hillsted Masquerade At Thozow JW Sh.CM

Puppy Bitch (2)

1. Griffiths’ Karamynd May Queen. A real livewire. Nice shaped puppy. Good head with sweet expression. Super white coat. Moved well when settled. Loved her temperament.

2. Bartley’s Atelib Lady Aurelia. Bigger type and more mature than 1. Nice head, good coat, front and backend. Moved well.

Junior Bitch (5)

1. Gillott & Carlin’s Lizandycris Maggie May. I liked this girl a lot, lovely type, well balanced. Good head, front and shoulder and rear quarters. Well presented in super coat, just a shame she didn’t put all in on the move.

2. Dale’s Lynnsto Evelyn All. Cobby bitch. Good front and topline, snow white coat. showed well. Just preferred balance of 1.

3. Foster & Foster’s Thozow Edelweiss.

Graduate Bitch (5, 1abs)

1. Hands & Strand’s Crinan Carousel. Very nice bitch when I got my hands on her, she was super on the move, shown on a loose lead. Excellent head and well put together throughout. A lovely type which I really liked, just needed finer touches to her presentation to complete the picture.

2. Jenkinson’s Highcross Crystal Charm. Litter sister to my CC winner. Another lovely bitch with many attributes as her sister. Good head, front and rear quarters. Super sparkling white coat. Would benefit from losing a bit of weight.

3. McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Luck Be A Lady

Post Graduate Bitch (4, 1 ab)

1. Smith’s Highcross Precious Charm to Lingbeck. What a stunner, lovely bitch of the correct size, so well balanced and ultra feminine, just my type. Super pure white coat, beautifully presented. Excellent head and mouth, small neat ears, good pigment. Excellent front and shoulder, well muscled rear quarters. In A1 condition. Moved and showed well. Would have taken this girl home with me in a minute. She is without a doubt a credit to her breeder and owner. A delight to award her the BCC

2. Gale’s Bellevue Gossip Catcher. Nice bitch of good type, super head and expression, harsh coat, moved and showed well.

3. Windram’s Carlola Showgirl.

Limit Bitch (11, 3 ab)

1. Fox’s Hillsted Sweet Mystery. Quality bitch. On the bigger side but well balanced. Super head, good pigment. Good neck and shoulders, powerfully built with solid strong front and good rear quarters. Tail well set. Immaculately presented with white jacket of correct texture, moved and showed well. RBCC

2. Minett’s Matheron Connex Again With Duskhunter. Another nice bitch I liked. Lovely type of good size. Compact. Super head and pigment. Good reach of neck running into short level back. Well presented. Moved and showed really well.

3. Fryer’s Hopecharm She’s Special Re (Imp)

Open Bitch (7, 2 abs)

1. Burns’ Ch. Burneze Billie On Air. Nice bitch. So well balanced. Super type with an excellent head and sweet expression. Good reach of neck running into good layback of shoulder. Excellent tail set. Moved well when settled. Just showing a little coat colour today.

2. Squire’s The Dashing Devil’s La Diva. Nice shapely type. Compact body. Lovely white coat, tail well set. Moved and showed well. Just preferred head of 1.

3. Crockett, Jenkins & Taggart’s Ir & Int Ch. Cooley Double the Trouble
