WEST HIGHLAND WHITE NATIONAL TERRIER 12 Judge(s) BIRGITTA HASSELGREN [SWEDEN] DCC INT CH HERE I AM VOM DEIPEN BROOK [ATC AJ00380DEU] ( MR & MRS B & MISS T DEIPENBROCK) WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER I was very pleased to be invited to judge this show, and enjoyed my day very much. Heads needs to be watched, the biggest problems are lack of stop and narrow under the eyes. With the preparation of the head today judges don't handle the head properly. I know I am a bit of a head fanatic, but to me it is so important and there is also so much breed characteristic in the head. But I also think that movements are much better, and dogs move more freely and are more active, which is very good. I had a good entry and many really nice dogs, and thank you to everybody for coming. MPD (3) 1 Best Male Puppy. Jenkin's Comdale Johnny Boy. Very nice puppy in very good coat for his age. Good body and short back. Head needs more time. Moves and shows very well. Will have a bright future. 2 Purchon's Lindenka Donovan. Another nice puppy, younger and still in puppy coat. Well built with a nice topline. Moved nicely. PD (3) 1 Malony's Killynether Kolumbo. Very short puppy with quite a bit of puppy fat. Nice broad skull. Moves very freely. Not in the best coat yet, but have a good coat coming. 2 Hayton's Pedrohay Roberto. Still rather thin in body and could have more angulation. Good neck. Could have moved better on the day. JD (3) 1 Fox's Hillsted Same Again. Nice dog with very good bone and body. Strong skull but a little thin in muzzle. In very good coat. Moves freely. Soon ready for bigger prices. 2 Storey's Nossimp Written In The Stars. Very good coated dog. Angulation could be better, and moves a bit strange in front. ND (1) 1 Corry's Inverglen Lord Of The Manor. On the bigger side with good bone and short back. Good topline. Strong head but lacking of stop. Could have more angulation behind. Good hard coat. PGD (5) 1 Noyce's Maxula Name Of The Game. Short dog with a masculine head. Very good neck, front and bone. Good coat but could be better presented. Moves freely. 2 Dale's Something Special Superbia Lynsto. Very flashy dog with nice outline. Good head. Needs more body and moves closely coming and going. Very well presented. LD (9,1) 1 Res CC Britten's Walk The Line From Deipen Brook To Krisma. Young dog that moves and shows with great style. Very good topline and short back. Well angulated behind.
