WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE LEEDS 23

I would like to thank all the Exhibitors for your entry, my first time at this level, also thank you to both my lovely stewards Wendy Holehan Green, and Carolyn Hall, who kept the ring running smoothly for both my breeds, it was a long day for us all. One thing that did bother me was the amount of chalk left on some exhibits, please don’t think I am criticising, as I know how hard it is to keep a white dog white,

MPD

1 Britten’s Krisma Fine Fettle. 9 months old very smart young man, head of good proportion for his age neat ears, correct bite, good front and bone coat of good texture, moved playfully but seen enough, Best Puppy in Breed

2 Corri’s Inverglen November Knight Similar make and shape to 1, dark eyes, bite good with big teeth, in harsh jacket moved well splitting hairs but he was carrying little more weight that spoiled his outline, but will change places many times two cracking puppies,

PGD

1 Bouwuis and Hamilton Llovall Adam At Ladyleih. Very nice dog, loved his head shape, dark eyes, neat small erect ears, good boned front, standing on neat feet, compact body harshest of jackets, strong backend another who moved playfully but again seen enough

LD

1 Fryer and Holmes Hopecharm Northern Star He took my eye as soon as I put eyes on him he looked smart standing in profile, presented so well, correct dome to skull, masculine head neat ears, correct stop, good in shoulder leading to muscular neck that could be a tad longer, that leading into compact body, hocks well let down strong backend that he used when he moved, just reminded me of Miss Cooke’s dogs that i admired so much Dog CC.

2 Kirsten and Fox Hillstead Same Difference. Very similar in make and shape to one, lovely front correct bone standing on good feet, correct depth in chest, put down in good nick harshest of jackets, moved so well, the three in this class were of very good quality.

3 Thomsons Ashgate Kelvin

OD

1 Burns, Burneze He Who Dares Wins. Another good one from this kennel of immense quality, lovely head, and front, short back good shoulder placement, correct in neck, harshest of coats and snowy white, moved positively, RCC

PB

1 Dale’s Lynnsto Killer Queen. A very smart 8-month-old youngster, loved her head shape, neat ears correct bite, correct well boned front, jacket just getting harshness into it, moved erratically but a puppy I predict she will do well,
