WEST HIGHLAND WHITE LEEDS 11 Judge: Mrs Ann Bartlett WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE LEEDS 11 West Highland White Terriers MPD (4) 1 Jennings’ Comdale Gorgeous George, well balanced puppy, good mouth, dark eye, coat coming along with correct texture, moved freely round the ring; 2 Kabel & Bouwhuis’ Llovall A King Of Hearts, really nice puppy, correct mouth, level topline, ample bend of stifle, moved well, in good clean coat; 3 Dale’s Lynnsto Tic Tac. PD (3) 1 Fox’s Hillstead Same Again, showy smart puppy, demands to be looked at. Good mouth & head, well placed ears, coat coming nicely trimmed to perfection, moved & showed with style. BP; 2 Bell’s Pentangle Aramis, nice youngster, in good jacket. Not the showmanship of 1. JD (2) 1 Britten’s Walk The Line vom Deipen Brook to Krisma, very showy dog & I was impressed with this very sound & mature young dog. Good bite, nice head, balanced all round. He will be made up in the very near future, liked him a lot; 2 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Ario, really good Westie in clean hard coat, good mouth, moved with ease round the ring. GD (3) 1 Jenkinson’s Highcross Willie Be Charmed, lots to like, good bite, nice dark eye in good hard condition, moved steadily & soundly; 2 Forbes’ Karensbrae Independence, nice dog, well constructed throughout & in good condition PGD (8) 1 West’s Tomlyndon Spoilt Rotten, very attractive, good mouth, dark eye, pleasing head, well developed body, very sound, covered the ground with ease; 2 Noyce’s Maxula Name Of The Game, nice dog, in good clean jacket, moved well & looked good when stacked; 3 Taylor’s Flassendale Fairlie. LD (5) 1 Smith’s Royal Carteir Entertainer, excellent male, a delight to go over, shouts quality & possesses a truly wonderful head. Well balanced, in tip top condition. CC; 2 Edmondson’s Pepabby Prank, super Westie, could change places another day. In good coat, level topline, tail well placed. His turn will come in the very near future; 3 Gillott & Carlin’s Lizandycris Out To Play. OD (4) 1 Gordon’s Ch Lamsmore Fitzwritin, a worthy ch, typical throughout, in super condition, moved with ease round the ring, a very nice dog. RCC; 2 Purchon’s Lindenka Sullivan, nicely made & of excellent bone & substance, typical head, moved soundly; 3 Corri’s Inverglen Banjo. MPB (4) 1 Edmondson’s Pepabby Pirouette, what a shapely young lady, eyecatching puppy, everything in the right place, a credit to her owner, loved her; 2 Burns’ Burneze Plan Bea, very nice pup, in good coat, moved well for her handler; 3 Jenning’s Comdale Starr. PB (6) 1 Gaydon’s Gilbri Royal Sapphire, promising puppy, well balanced, head & eye gives lovely correct expression, very sound, liked her a lot; 2 Cooper’s Brorastar Words Of Love, lovely head & eye, well balanced, level topline, well set tail, liked her; 3 Jennings’ Comdale Club Class. JB (5) 1 Purchon’s Montrose by Lindenka, very nicely made youngster, smart, good to go over, in clean jacket, moved free & easy. Liked this Westie very much; 2 Hunt’s Kellethrigg Serenade Girl, nice all round bitch, not moving at her best; 3 Noyce’s Maxula Make A Promise. NB (1) 1 Kinnaird’s Gilbri Ruby Tuesday at Pepperknowe, nicely made puppy, in clean white jacket, moved well. GB (1) 1 Smith’s Lingbeck Playing The Lady, pleasing head & expression, in clean coat, good mover, held topline well. PGB (7) 1 Bell’s Bellevue Full Of Spirit, very smart bitch, pleasing personality, good head, dark eye, good bite, moved easily round the ring. Liked her very much; 2 West’s Tomlyndon Reign On Parade, very nicely made bitch, good mouth, dark eye, moved well; 3 Woodward’s Standeridge Star Spangled von Fernsunrise. LB (12) 1 Smith’s Faymar Fine Romance, what a lovely Westie, beautiful head & expression, in super coat, looked good standing & on the move. The winner of a very strong class. RCC; 2 Griffiths’ Karamynd Make A Splash, well presented, everything in the right place, good texture of coat, moved really well for her owner; 3 Dale’s Lynnsto Platinum. OB (3) 1 Gaydon’s Ch Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri, an absolute pleasure to go over this quality bitch, so feminine with everything in the right place. Moved out with real style round the ring. CC, BOB & G3; 2 Purchon’s Lindenka Clancy, well presented, feminine head, good bite, moved really well round the ring; 3 Fox’s Hillsted Sweet Jazzmine. ANN BARTLETT |
