WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE LKA 17
Firstly, I would like to thank LKA, for taking great care of all its judges, stewards and exhibitors, with an attitude the show will go on. I would also like to thank my steward, who very efficiently dealt with all the paperwork.
I would like to thank all the exhibitors who entered and for those who came I must commend you, it was very much appreciated. I was lucky enough to have travelled to the venue the previous day so did not have the concerns so many of you had. Although before I could drive home I had to remove 5 inches of snow off the roof of my car, never thought my grooming table would be so useful. Needless to say I had quite an audience.
Lastly, I would like to say a big thank you to Kirsten Fox, for not only looking after me, but also for taking some great photos of the special day.
As for judging, I was fortunate enough to have quality dogs to assess, although it is difficult to give an overall assessment of the breed, due to the limited entry.

A worthy champion, and a dog I have always admired. So glad he has made a trip back into the ring. Strong head, well made with depth of muzzle, bony ridges, correct proportions and neat well set ears, all covered with plenty of furnishings. Balanced throughout and this was shown in his movement which was free with extension and drive.BV
