West Highland White Terriers

On the whole I was very pleased with the quality. There are some very beautiful specimens. However, many need to pay more attention to the finish touches that make a difference to the end product.

1 Jennings’ Comdale Smooth Operator, very classy type, lovely outlook. Just needs time;

2 Gillott & Carlin’s Lizandycris Devlin Disgise, good dog, not quite so good in coat but very promising. Needs to settle.

PD (2) 1 West & West’s Tomlyndon Spoilt Rotten, lovely youngster, lovely head & expression, good neck & front, correct topline. Not yet ready;

2 Vaughan’s Yorsar Spirit O’ The Glen, just coming into form. Good head & outline, correct topline, good depth. Would like to see at a later date. Moved very well.

1 West & West’s Tomlyndon Spoilsport, very sound, good head & expression, nice neck, good rib, tail well carried, good quarters & movement;

2 Gillott & Carlin’s Lizandycris Out To Play, lovely outlook, good neck, front & feet, good quarters. A little more time should see a big difference. Moved very well;

3 Taylor’s Flassendale Fairlie.

1 Edmondson’s Pepabby Prank, very promising dog, great head, well placed ears, great neck & front, lovely topline, good rib, tail well placed, good quarters, lovely outlook, moved very well;

2 Stock’s Lindenka Baxter, pleasing dog, nice outlook, good head, correct neck, super topline. A touch loose behind;

3 Minett’s Duskhunter French Connects.

1 Lewis’ Lynnsto Man About Town, superb dog, in simply lovely coat & condition, very compact, good rib, grand topline, tail well set, strong quarters, moved & showed to perfection. CC & BOB;

2 Foster’s Thozow Good Etiquette, very fine dog, lovely rib, good set on, beautiful movement;

3 Budge’s Rozamie Icicle.

1 Gordon’s Lamsmore Fitzwritin, bright & cheerful dog, lovely ears, good neck, correct front, super coat & condition, tail well placed, strong quarters, moved very well. RCC;

2 Squire’s Multi Ch Bellevue Spirit Catcher, I liked this one, in very good form. Just a touch loose in front;

3 Minett’s Duskhunter Dutch Courage.

1 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Opal, very promising bitch, in very good form, lovely coat, good mover;

2 Steemson’s Ucan’t Catcher by Bocans, I liked this one very much, not yet ready but I would like to see her later;

3 Squire’s Bellevue Lookin F’Fun.

1 Davison’s Braxquin Beginning A Dream, very lovely baby who should surely progress to better things. Come again, I would like to see her in the future;

2 Gillott & Carlin’s Lizandycris Aint She Grand, very promising youngster, enjoying every moment, has all the possibilities for a future;

3 Brockwell’s Hillsted Sitara Shines for Jackinaspin.

1 Lancaster’s Clanestar Cloudchasing, very outstanding girl, in good condition, grand head & outlook, good front & very pleasing movement. BP;

2 Smith’s Faymar Fine Romance, very nicely presented. A touch loose in front, perhaps a little roadwork;

3 Smith’s Lingbeck Playing the Lady.

1 Steemson’s Bocans Playin With Fire, very pleasant bitch that I liked, lovely outlook, nice front, legs & feet. Very little to dislike;

2 Woodward’s Standeridge Star Spangled von Fernsunrise, very useful bitch, in very nice condition, compact, tail well placed. Perhaps a little more sparkle would help;

3 Foster’s Thozow Sweet Violet.

1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Make A Splash, very likeable sort. Perhaps a little roadwork to harden up;

2 Foster’s Thozow Sweet Pea, very neat bitch & likeable. Movement a little unsteady yet;

3 Davison’s Benstedmanna Miellefieule at Braxquin.

1 Jennings’ Llovall As Mama Said to Comdale, truly beautiful bitch, great head, lovely ears which were used to perfection, great front, feet & style, lovely long neck, short coupled, tail well set & strong quarters, moved exactly as she should. CC;

2 Gaydon’s Ch Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri, lovely girl who put up a great struggle. Lovely type & movement very precise. RCC;

3 Hands’ Crinan Celesta.
