WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 12
West Highland White Terriers
I thank the East of England Committee for inviting me to judge, an appointment I thoroughly enjoyed. Despite the terrible weather conditions the Society did all in their power to ensure that the show run smoothly. I thank all the exhibitors who entered and accepted my decisions so sportingly. I was particularly pleased to see my BOB winner take the Terrier Group. Congratulations.
Minor Puppy Dog
1st Purchon, Lindenka Donovan, A mature puppy. Lovely head and expression with strong broad jaw and good sized teeth. Nice straight front, good reach of neck and good shoulder placement. Harsh coat starting to come through. . Kept his outline on the move. Showed well.
2nd Lancaster, Clanstar Commander Bond. Raw puppy just 6 months, excellent coat texture for one so young, nice head and expression good bite. Strong rear. A little unsettled on the move today. Will watch him mature with interest.
3rd Johnson, Salmark Street Warrior.
Puppy Dog
1st Jennings, Comdale Johnny Boy. Mature 11 month puppy. Excellent coat texture. Well presented. Good bite. Good head but would like more hair on the muzzle to complete the picture. Good shoulders, short coupled. Moved with confidence keeping his outline on the move. Best Puppy Dog.
2nd West, Tomlyndon Power of Love. Not the maturity of 1. Excellent coat, lovely head and expression, good bite. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, very short coupled. Super rear angulation. Just not sure of the floor surface today so not moving freely..

Limit Dog
1st Carlin and Gillott, Lizandycris Devlin Disguise. Very compact cobby dog. Good head and expression. Good reach of neck and shoulder placement, very short in back. Good hindquarters, moving with drive. I liked him a lot but felt he had a little too much coat on him today and would benefit from less particularly on the front legs.
2nd Fox, Hillsted Same Again. A lovely young dog. Super head and expression. Stacks himself and is a picture standing. Excellent coat texture and super presentation. I felt 1 scored on shoulder placement hence today this dog had to settle for second place.
