WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE DARLINGTON 23

Best Of Breed/BCC: Noyce & Noyce, Maxula Vanilla Ice Cream – A lovely type for size, bone, substance and balance. She has a typical head of correct proportions with a lovely expression attributed by her correctly sized and placed eyes and ears. Correct length of neck into shoulders set at the desired angle and her forelegs are straight and well boned onto correct feet. She has a lovely spring of rib carried well back to a short loin and her quarters are correctly angulated to mirror her front assembly. She holds a firm topline standing and moving and has a good tail set. She was presented in super condition, and she has good pigment. Moved true both fore and aft with correct foot fall when viewed from side profile. Dog CC: Fryer & Holmes, Hopecharm Northern Star – A substantial male who encompasses bone and substance. He has a head of desired proportions and his eyes and ears are of the correct size and shape culminating in a characteristic expression. Enough neck into a good forehand, level top line and a good tail set. He has a good spring of rib, short coupled and his quarters are well developed and nicely angulated. He was presented in super order, good pigment and moved soundly both ways. Res Dog CC/BPIB: Britten Krisma Fine Fettle – An extremely promising baby who projected a balanced outline. He had a lovely head and expression, a good length of neck, level topline and good tail set. His front and quarters are correctly angulated, and his ribs are carried well back to a short loin. He was presented in super condition and moved confidently and soundly on the out and back. I thought he was lovely. Res Bitch CC: Griffiths, Ch Holiday Romance Vixen at Karamynd (Imp Pol) – Typical girl who is of a slightly smaller type to the CC winner. She has a balanced head and a typical expression. Lovely neck into shoulders set at the correct angle. Straight forelegs, good feet and she has a good spring of rib extending back to a short loin. Her quarters are nicely angulated, and her tail set is good. She was presented to a high standard and moved true both ways. Best Veteran: Bradbury, Gelmoore Midwinter Magic at Fourastay – Ten year old male who was shown in lovely condition and moved true both ways. He has a decent head and expression, level topline and good quarters.
