Well balanced head, such dark eyes, neat ears & big white teeth! Compact in body, well presented & still driving himself around the ring with enthusiasm; 2 Millen’s Sarmac Starlite Express, not in the pristine bloom of the winner. Well pigmented, good head balance, nice spring of rib & well set & carried tail. Not quite the lightness of foot of the Legend. MPD (1) 1 Jennings’ Comdale Johnny Junior, just a very raw baby of 6 months, at his first show & not at all overawed by the experience. He has a decent headpiece, lovely eyes & neat ears. Enough neck, coat already quite harsh to the touch & once he settled to moving in a straight line, he showed good hind action. PD (2) 1 BP, Purchon’s Lidenka Chesterman, I liked this youngster a lot. Very stylish on the stack, lovely size, plenty of bone & ribbing, compact in body, nice reach of neck, clean backline & well set tail. His hindquarters are well let down & the hocks firm and straight. Needs to settle in front but that is probably just his youthful exuberance as side on he has lovely reach & drive; 2 Cooper’s Broarstar Sergeant Pepper, this is a real imp, full of mischief & thinks the show ring is to be used as a practise gallop. Handles well on the table. Pleasing head, dark eyes, jet black nose, enough neck, big ribcage & well set & carried tail. Blessed with a super array of large teeth & his coat is a good texture. JD (3) 1 Dale’s Hopecharm Edd Turner at Lynnsto, I felt he had the best head balance, eyes & expression in this class. He is a good size, is well boned, the ribs carry well back to a short loin then that well set & carried tail. He has such good muscular hindquarters & when stacked he uses his neck to advantage which enhances his appeal. Sound on the move; 2 West’s Tomlyndon Eager Ernest, I edged the winner in front on eye & expression but this lovely youngster should do well. He is impressive in stance, was beautifully handled & put down & he comes into his own on the move, really using his hocks so well, head up & that air of self importance which draws the eye. Especially well ribbed & that stunning reach of neck; 3 Gilliot & Carling’s Lizandycris Line Me Up. PGD (4) 1 RCC, Coley’s Kingsview Warwick, I thought his to be a really smart & handsome dog, in super coat & excellent presentation. Liked his size, weight in bone & his compact shape. He owns a really good neck & is blessed with a good neck. Quality head & expression, big ribs, well set tail & he strides out with a determined, powerful hock action, so showing the opposition a clean pair of heels; 2 McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Latest Legend, this chap will appeal for his shape but for me he could have a bigger spring of rib & he needs to carry more weight. His head I thought was excellent, strong muzzle, large teeth, dark eyes which are so alive & expressive & neat ears. His side action carried the day as he is balanced, purposeful & has attitude; 3 Windram’s Leonardo Ventuta. LD (5,1) 1 CC & BOB, Bell’s Pentangle Hello Oscar, immaculate in presentation, shown in tip top body & muscle condition, beautiful headpiece, neat ears & just the expression I hope to find in one of this breed – handsome & knows it! Loved his size, his compactness the beautiful body, super neck & backline, that whiter than white harsh jacket which is cleverly sculpted to give that stunning shape. Acquits himself so well on the move showing reach & drive & I was more than thrilled to learn that this win makes him up into a very worthy champion; 2 Strand’s Crinan Code Name Westlake, this was another dog who I thought had heaps to like. He is a good size, bags of substance & bone for a male, nice size, very well ribbed & his outline must take the eye. His head is well shaped, the eyes dark & he has enough strength in foreface. Really scores in coat texture & presentation & will surely always be there or thereabouts. Just did not come towards me as positively as those I put over him; 3 Corri’s Inverglen Lowe N Behold. OD (4) 1 Jenkinson’s Highcross Willie Be Charmed, a very compact. Well constructed dog in such good coat. Uses his neck well, tail is correct set & carried & he is well boned. I liked his head, the eyes are so dark, a good shape & very alive in expression. Correct mouth & a good showman. He enhanced the CC line up but I felt did not quite have the drive & purpose in profile of those I put over him; 2 Storey’s Nossimp Written In The Stars, this chap benefits from impeccable presentation which makes him hard to ignore. A dog of quality with lots of charm, lovely head shape & eyes, ears could be a bit smaller for me & although he is well ribbed, I feel he is a tad longer in loin than would allow him to be really compact. Very impressive profile action; 3 Smith’s Lizandcris Call My Bluff at Roxberg. VB (2) 1 Smith’s Lingbeck Leading Lady, 7 years old & in spanking condition. Pretty eyes & expression, neatest of ears which are now sadly lacking, nicely bodied & with a good tail set. She is such a good shape & still moved out well as she circled the ring; 2 Windram’s Cassara Princess, so good for 10 years, expression still as bright as a button & full of vim & vigour. I liked her head, excellent teeth & she is still in hard condition. MPB (2) 1 Clement’s Roxholm Reign Dance, 8 months old but shows a lot of promise. I thought her head & expression were lovely, she is well ribbed, is fairly compact, her jacket quite harsh & dense & she has a beautiful tailset. She just needs to calm down a little on the move where she can be careless at times, but I’m sure she can go on to better things; 2 Dale’s Lynnsto Bling In The Ring, a 6 months old Persil white raw baby with a delightful expression & so full of character. Ultra feminine in outlook, she has a really good neck, the back is firm & her tail well set. Just needs lots of time. PB (1) 1 Cooper’s Broastar Love Me Do, so well schooled & ring trained. I liked her size & balanced proportions with an especially good neck, backline & tail set & carriage. Head well balanced, ample stop & a very good muzzle. On the move she was stylish & steady & covered the ground well. JB (3) 1 Fryer’s Hopecharm Ops A Daisy, I liked this young bitch a lot. Super type & presentation. Loved her size, her head is a delight, those eyes & that expression will ensnare many. She is big in rib, is pretty compact, holds herself so well on the stack & the move & has some style & cockiness as she drive around the ring; 2 Clements’ Roxholm Role Model, so compact & so showy on the stack that I felt she might be my class winner. Her head is so feminine in every respect, lovely mouth, big black nose. Neat ears & the darkest of eyes. Her coat is a good texture & she was so well prepared in presentation. Lost out on the move as swept around the ring with drive & purpose whereas this lovely youngster was a bit more diffident & her stride lacked urgency; 3 Bartley’s Aterlib Moon Aura. PGB (8,1) 1 Coley’s Karamynd Sop What at Kingsview, I liked her size, compactness & appealing shape. Her head handles well, decent stop, well shaped & coloured eyes give her an appealing expression. She has a decent neck, is short backed, has a lovely rounded rump & a well set tail. In super coat she floored the opposition as they circled the ring; 2 Jenkinson’s Highcross Charmer, really ultra short backed bitch with style & attraction on the stack. I liked her size & substance, strength with femininity. Her outline is so good, the neck has length & the tail is well carried. So well presented in jacket. As she circled the ring she just did not have the power & drive of the winner; 3 McLoughlin’s Llovall Look Here Ley Hey. LB (5,1) 1 Jennings’ Comdale Charlie Girl, would like her to be short coupled, otherwise she appealed heaps. Her head is a delight, such a good expression & correct mouth. She scores in reach of neck, her outline is smooth & free flowing & her coat was in such pristine condition. She moved out with a smooth, free stride in profile with very good hock action; 2 Lancaster’s Clanestar Cloud Chaser, this one is certainly a bit shorter coupled than the winner & was equally well presented. I thought her shoulder assembly was so good, her ribbing is excellent & she has such good width in upper thigh. I was sure she would really be enthusiastic & driving on the move but she was a little lethargic & paid the price; 3 Noyce’s Maxula Box Of Tricks. OB (7,1) 1 CC, Smith’s Ch Faymar Fine Romance; 2 RCC, Griffith’s Krisma Asking For Trouble at Karamynd, two lovely bitches right out of the top drawer & this was the hardest task of the day. I loved them both, they ooze breed type at it’s best & it is nit picking to split them. On the day I gave Romance the edge in ear & expression by the narrowest of margins, & Trouble has the stronger hock action in movement. Both presented & handled to perfection & I feel sure the second must become a ch before too long. Two super bitches; 3 Carlin, Gillott & Dunne’s Lizandchris Ruby Tuesday. 1 BV, McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Living Legend, what a good start to the day with this most typy dog. Well balanced head, such dark eyes, neat ears & big white teeth! Compact in body, well presented & still driving himself around the ring with enthusiasm;

2 Millen’s Sarmac Starlite Express, not in the pristine bloom of the winner. Well pigmented, good head balance, nice spring of rib & well set & carried tail. Not quite the lightness of foot of the Legend.

1 Jennings’ Comdale Johnny Junior, just a very raw baby of 6 months, at his first show & not at all overawed by the experience. He has a decent headpiece, lovely eyes & neat ears. Enough neck, coat already quite harsh to the touch & once he settled to moving in a straight line, he showed good hind action.

1 BP, Purchon’s Lidenka Chesterman, I liked this youngster a lot. Very stylish on the stack, lovely size, plenty of bone & ribbing, compact in body, nice reach of neck, clean backline & well set tail.
