WEST HIGHLAND WHITE DARLINGTON 10

West Highland White Terriers

An excellent entry. There were some classes where I would have liked to award more than one first place.

VD (2,1a)

1 Dingley’s Ch Davot Chivalrous Chap, quality dog, super masculine head, strong quarters, good tailset, good coat, well balanced oldie who seemed to enjoy his day out;

2 Hayton’s Highcross Haytime at Pedrohay, not as well balanced as 1. A bit reluctant on the move.

MPD (3,1)

1 West’s Tomlyndon Spoilt Rotten, masculine youngster, good harsh coat, strong masculine head, nice reach of neck, well laid shoulders, strong topline & quarters with good tailset, moved with drive;

2 Burns’ Burneze Mr Saragoir, first time out & not quite as confident as 1. Good coat, good head, shoulders & quarters, moved well. His day will come.

PD (1)

1 West’s Tomlyndon Spoilsport, similar attributes as his kennelmate, but stronger in head.

JD (3)

1 Edmondson’s Pepabby Prank, very strong masculine head, well laid shoulders, reach of neck & level topline, strong quarters allow him to move with drive, tail bang on top;

2 Jenkinson’s Highcross Willie Be Charmed, masculine dog, good head, shoulders & reach of neck, level topline, moved well;

3 Taylor’s Flassendale Fairlie.

PGD (3)

l Fletcher-King’s Kelbany White Wizard at Ley Hey, masculine dog, strong head, well laid shoulders & strong quarters, good coat & tailset, excellent movement & well balanced;

2 Tullis’ Drumsheugh True Grit, similar attributes as 1, but movement not quite as good;

3 Soar’s Sonjay Fast Forward.

LD (8,1)

1 Corri’s Inverglen Banjo, well balanced with strong masculine head, well laid shoulder & reach of neck, excellent coat, strong quarters with proper tailset, movement couldn’t be faulted & was a joy to watch. RCC;

2 Griffith’s Karamynd Play It Again, not as strong in head as 1, but good in shoulder & excellent coat. Good quarters, so moved with drive, good tailset. Just a bit over presented for me;

3 Purchon’s Lindenka Sullivan.

OD (7,2)

1 Owen’s Havasu Hot Rod via Duncabury, caught my eye as he came into the ring, so well balanced, excellent head, enough reach of neck with well laid shoulders leading into level topline with good tailset, strong quarters allowing good free movement, never stopped showing. CC & BOB;

2 Hill & Wilson’s Ch Olton Aye Sweater Man, a worthy ch with similar attributes as 1, but seemed a bit reluctant on the move;

3 Duskhunter Dutch Courage.

VB (2)

1 Windram’s Barnwin Im Daisy May, lovely cobby feminine bitch, level topline with correct tailset, coat in good condition & moved well;

2 Andrews’ Rupann Silver Charm, similar to 1, but coat not in as good condition & not as happy on the move.

MPB (5)

1 Gillott Carlin’s Lizandycris Aint She Grand, well named very feminine puppy, well balanced with good movement, good shoulders, level topline & correct tailset, showed well;

2 Lancaster’s Clanester Cloudchasing, good on the move, very showy puppy with pretty expression, well laid shoulders, level topline & correct tailset. Not quite as balanced as 1;

3 Purchon’s Montrose by Lindeka.

PB (4)

1 Smith’s Lingbeck Playing The Lady, beautiful youngster, lovely feminine expression, good harsh coat, well balanced, nice reach of neck, well laid shoulder, level topline & correct tailset, good quarters, moved with drive, showed from the minute she entered the ring. BP & PG1;

2 Smith’s Faymar Fine Romance, very pretty puppy, very feminine, nice shape with good harsh coat, good shoulder, level topline & correct tailset. Moved well but didn’t look quite as balanced as 1;

3 Dale’s Lynnsto Smartypants.

JB (4)

1 Thomson’s Miss Mona, attractive head with lovely expression, like her shape, well laid shoulders, level topline, good coat & tailset. Gave her handler a tough time;

2 Milner’s Rozamie Merry Go Round by Juanne, smaller type than 1. Nice head, shoulder & tailset, good coat, moved & showed well;

3 Hickey’s Standbridge Luscious Lucy.

PGB

Very strong class.

1 Dingley’s Davot Chinoa, very feminine expression, well laid shoulders, level topline, good harsh coat, correct tailset, good quarters, so moved with drive, used the ring well;

2 Corri’s Inverglen Sophie, lovely feminine expression, well balanced with good shoulder, topline & tailset, harsh coat, good quarters which allow proper movement, moved round the ring as if she owned it. Just a little out of condition;

3 Foster’s Thozow Sweet Violet.

LB

1 Molony’s Killynether Krazy For You, have admired her from the ringside & was not disappointed when going over her, attractive feminine head, well laid shoulder with level topline & correct tailset, well balanced with good quarters which allowed her to move with drive, excellent coat, never stopped showing for her handler. CC;

2 Karamynd Drama Queen, smaller type, but beautiful bitch, lovely shape, harsh coat, good shoulder, level topline & tailset, never stopped showing, moved with drive. Again a bit over presented for me;

3 Ash’s Hillcloud Drizzle.

OB (8)

1 Hand’s Crinan Celesta, really lovely to go over, a very feminine bitch, super head, well laid shoulders, well balanced with level topline & excellent tailset, excellent movement coming from strong quarters. Harsh coat which just lacked a little condition, but couldn’t deny her the RCC;

2 Jennings’ Comdale As Mama Said to Comdale, very feminine expression, lovely head, well laid shoulders, level topline & correct tailset, good quarters, moved with drive, excellent coat, very well balanced.
