WEST HIGHLAND WHITE CRUFTS 2010 West Highland White Terrier Judge(s): MR K GOURLAY WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE CRUFTS 10 A wonderful entry, I really enjoyed the day. I thought the quality varied in heads – the varminty expression lacking in some, small teeth to dicey mouths & movement needs watching. VD (9,2a) 1 Squire’s Ch Bellevue Trigger Happy, lovely head & mouth, good outline & coat, moved well; 2 Corri’s Ch Inverglen Celtic Raider, quality throughout, sound, moved well. Just preferred head of 1; 3 Hayton’s Highcross Haytime at Pedrohay, good sound dog, well balanced, moved well. PD (4) 1 Edmondson’s Pepabby Prank, good head, neck & outline, well grown at 11 months, promising. BP; 2 Owen’s Bournehaven Triple Target, nice head, mouth & outline, went well; 3 Jennings’ Comdale Walk The Walk, nice type, good head & outline, moved OK. JD (6) 1 Purchon’s Lindenka Sullivan, lovely type, moved well, good coat, sound as a bell; 2 Blankestijn’s Karamynd Guns With Roses, nice head, outline, balanced. Close to 1; 3 Dunne’s Charosmack Cool Days, quality dog, good head & outline. YD (7,2) 1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Play It Again, nice head, mouth, good outline, full of quality, moved well; 2 Thomson’s Ashgate McKenzie, good head, mouth & coat; 3 Lewis’ Lynnsto Man About Town, bigger type, nice head & outline. Lost on movement. PGD (14,2) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Barclaycard, lovely type, head & outline, class throughout, moved very well, one to watch. RCC; 2 Squire’s Dashing Devil’s Shotgun, bigger type, good in head & coat, moved OK; 3 Bezuidenhout’s Lamanzie Crackerjack, bigger lad, good in coat & outline. LD (15,2) 1 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Outlaw, lovely outline, good head & neck. Wish he was a wee bit bigger. Moved well; 2 Corri’s Inverglen Banjo, nice outline & style, good head, moved OK; 3 Foster’s Thozow Good Etiquette, nice head & outline, well handled. OD (17,3) Good class. 1 Hill & Wilson’s Olton Aye Sweater Man, lovely type, balanced throughout, nice head & coat, never put a foot wrong. CC & BOB; 2 Gordon’s Ch Lamsmore Fitzwritin, close to 1. Very nice in head, neck & coat, well handled; 3 Dale’s Ch Lynnsto Mastercard, lovely head, well balanced, moved well. GCD (1) 1 Fletcher-King’s Kellbany White Wizard at Ley Hey, nice head & coat, nice lad, enjoying his day out. VB (7,1) 1 Milner’s Joanne Gin N Ice, lovely well balanced lady, good head & outline, nice coat, moved & handled well; 2 Windram’s Barnwin Im Daisy May, similar type, nice head, sound & well balance; 3 Gallop’s Maedhlyn Suemaya, lovely outline & balanced bitch. PB (6,1) 1 Steemson’s Bocans Fancy That, well balanced, sound quality, good head, shoulder & neck line, moved well; 2 Miller’s Lindenka Oops A Daisy, rangy bitch, good outline, nice neck & shoulders, moved OK; 3 Pegg’s Bellevue Dream Spirit, sound, good in head & size. JB (16,4) 1 Corri’s Inverglen Sophie, very nice in head & neck, lovely outline, good coat & moved well, liked a lot; 2 Steemson’s Bocans Playin with Fire, rangier bitch, good neck & shoulder, moved OK; 3 Smith’s Pryorvale Foxglove for Faymar, sound, good head, nice size. YB (11,3) Nice class. 1 Agnieszka’s Like A Star of Gryffindor, nicely bodied lady, lovely head, really sound, good mover; 2 Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Potty Dotty, good head, nice bone, moved well. Unlucky to meet 1; 3 Roche’s Lindenka Kaylah at Sanjoc, nice head & neck, good outline. PGB (15,1) 1 Jennings’ Llovall A Real Deal at Comdale, beautifully balanced, lovely head, real quality; 2 Foster’s Thozow Sweet Pea, nice bitch, good in head & outline, went well; 3 Robinson’s Killynether Koming Down to Patnor, bigger bitch, not the neck of 2. LB (14,5) 1 Lancaster’s Clanestar Careless Affair, cracking good bitch, lovely in neck, head & coat, showed really well, really took my eye. CC; 2 Britten’s Krisma Dot To Dot, beautiful bitch, lovely neck, head & outline, good coat, moved well, one to watch; 3 Fox’s Hillsted Sweet Breeze, good bitch, well balanced, nice in head, neck & coat. OB (18,9) 1 Jennings’ Llovall As Mama Said to Comdale, quality bitch, lovely head, balanced, nice size, moved well. RCC; 2 Morton’s Charosmack Crystal Secret at Swifdon, bigger type, rangy, good in head & coat, moved OK; 3 Cooper’s Ch Ashgate Camellia, nice outline, good conformation, well presented. GCB (3) 1 Thomson’s Ch Ashgate Maybole, nice head, good conformation, compact lady; 2 Dent’s Fizzella Fruitcake, small, nicely balanced, walked well; 3 Jones’ Fernlair In Persuit Of Glory, nicely balanced, enjoying her day out.
