WEST HIGHLAND WHITE CRUFTS 09 WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER Judge(s): Mr R Platt West Highland White Terriers VD (5,3a) 1 Thomson’s Hillcloud Polestar, 11 years, enjoying his day out, excellent presentation, moved very well; 2 Hayton’s Highcross Haytime at Pedroyhay, 10½ years, good coat texture, moved very well; 3 Barton’s Tidarigit Acer One. PD (10,1) 1 Squire’s Dashing Devil’s Shotgun, good head, well placed ears, good neck & shoulders, very short back, showed well; 2 Bailey & Wilson’s Masaboin Strongbow at Lymehills, good head, neck & shoulder placement, very good body, moved very well; 3 Minett’s Duskhunter Dutch Courage. JD (8,3) 1 West’s Karamynd Playing Away at Tomlyndon, beautiful head, neck, shoulders, very short back, good coat, moved very well; 2 Gaudon’s Gilbri Williewontie, good head, well placed ears, correct mouth, well laid shoulders, good coat, showed very well; 3 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Outlaw. YD (9) 1 Britten’s Krisma Spitnpolish, beautiful head, neat well placed ears, excellent mouth, very short back, moved & showed very well; 2 Gordon’s Lamsmore Fitzwritin, very good example of the breed, beautiful head, well placed shoulders, short back, very good presentation, moved very well; 3 Millen’s Sarmac Starlight Express. PGD (12,2) 1 Corri’s Inverglen Banjo, upstanding, good head, neck & shoulders leading into short back, very good mover; 2 Toender’s Ilem Zo Zlatej Zahrady, very short back, excellent coat & condition, moved & showed very well; 3 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandycris Pick Of The Pack. LD (18,4) 1 Purchon’s Lindenka Bennington, I really liked this dog, masculine head, very good ear placement, good strong mouth, good coat, moved & showed very well; 2 Smith’s Royalcartier Entertainer, I am sure these two will change places. Excellent type & in good condition, moved very well; 3 Veen’s The Dashing Devils Lucky Strike. OD (20,4) 1 Griffiths’ Ch Karamynd Play The Game, this was my CC winner & BOB. What can one say that has not already been said? Outstanding dog, did not put a foot wrong, excellent type, moved very well & good presentation; 2 Veen’s The Dashing Devil’s Spirit of Mine, unlucky to meet 1. Two outstanding males & I am sure these could change places. Excellent coat, good presentation, showed & handled very well. RCC; 3 Abbey’s Kristajen Know It All. GCD (1) 1 Fletcher-King’s Kellbany White Wizard at Leyhey. VB (9,2) 1 Andrews’ Rupann Silver Charm, 10½ years, pleasing head, short, coat OK, moved well; 2 Milner’s Joanne Gin N’Ice, 11 years, a credit to her owners, in first class condition, moved & showed very well; 3 Staff’s Abadair Crystal Ice Princess. PB (6,1) 1 Britten’s Krisma Dot To Dot, beautiful feminine head, excellent front, very short back, very good coat, moved well; 2 Gaudon’s Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri, good head, neat well placed ears, good front, ultra short back, showed well; 3 Reidie’s Asheridgelee Miss Attitude. JB (14,4) 1 Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Giv Me Your Answer Do, good outline, very short back, good mover; 2 Lancaster’s Clanestar Careless Affair, beautiful bitch from any angle, good coat, moved & showed very well; 3 Purchon’s Lindenka Clancy. YB (17,7) 1 Dale’s Lamsmore Miss Demeanour, very good head, neat ears, beautiful front, good coat, showed well; 2 Dale’s Lynnsto Ultraviolet, very good type, excellent coat, very short back, moved well; 3 Mehee’s Champagne Millesimee. PGB (14,2) 1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Make A Splash, beautiful bitch, nice head & ears, short back, good white coat, showed well; 2 Fox’s Hillsted Sweet Breeze, very unlucky to meet the winner. I liked this one. Excellent type, moved very well; 3 Reidie’s Asheridgelee Miss Ambition. LB (18,4) 1 Squire’s Krisma Joyrider, short & compact, good head, very good presentation, showed very well; 2 West’s Tomlyndon Look Of Love, good head, neck & shoulders, very short, good coat, showed very well; 3 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandycris Girl Of Action. OB (19,5) 1 Deipenbrock’s Int Ch Royal Diva vom Deipen Brook, excellent specimen of the breed, beautiful head, neat well placed ears, very good front, ultra short back, well presented, good white coat, did not put a foot wrong. CC; 2 Edmondson’s Ch Pepabby Priceless, a favourite of mine. Two very good bitches & unlucky to both meet in this class. Showed all the time, very short, tail on top & very good presentation. RCC; 3 Thomson’s Ashgate Camellia. GCB (2,1) 1 Jones’ Fernlair I Was Framed. RAY PLATT
