WEST HIGHLAND WHITE BOURNEMOUTH 12 Judge: Mr M S King BEST OF BREED : 5008 GRIFFITHS Mrs J A Ch Karamynd Play It Again WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 12 West Highland White Terriers: MPD (2.2) Abs. PD (1) 1. Milner's Juanne Flamenco Finlay. 10 mths old and maturing at right pace, super harsh coat but needs furnishings to fully come through to complete the picture, broad skull, neat ear set, dark eye and good pigmentation throughout including black nails, body coming on well, moved freely. JD (3.1) 1. Dingley's Davot Chi Ki Chap. A real cheeky chap who did everything to spoil his chances, but good honest sort, up to size, moved better when deciding it was Ok to do so. 2. Windram's Leonardo Ventura. Smaller and more compact sort, straight clean front, good shoulders, coat not as forward as 1 and not settling on the move. GD (1) 1.Dingley's Davot Chevie Chaser. Alone and would have benefited from company, nice size and shape, good head and ears, nice neck, well bodied, would benefit also from ring training as his movement lets him down. PGD (3.1) 1. Storey's Nossimp Written in the Stars.. Strongly built with good head and expression, good bite, super clean front, good reach of neck, in good coat, moved better when found the correct pace and drive. 2. Windram's Louie Conquistador. Not as forward or appearance of 1, needs more time, movement unsettled. LD (6) 1. Squire's Dashing Devils Street Fighter. Liked overall balance, size and shape, good harsh coat but would have liked more of it, strongly made head and carried well on muscular neck, a little playful on the move initially but settled to move well. 2. Gillott and Carlin's Lizandycris Devilin Disgise. Another nice type and appealing outline, would have liked more strength in muzzle to balance the head, strong neck flowing well into short level back, good coat and condition. 3. Fox's Hillstead Same Again. OD (5) 1. Griffiths' Ch Karamynd Play it Again. Judged this dog previously as a puppy and was pleased then about his balance and attitude and opinion has not changed since, smart dog with good shape and size presenting very neat outline, strong head with good expression, well made shoulders, compact body with tail on top, in good coat, very positive on the move. CC and BOB, pleased for his G4 placing. 2. Gordon's Ch Lansmore Fitwritin. Excellently presented and in super condition, really liked harsh coat and harsh furnishings to complete the picture, well made head and neck, good body with correct depth of rib, moved true and free. Res Dog CC. 3. Britten's Ch Walk The Line Vom Deipen Brook to Krisma. VB (2) 1. Milner's Juanne Gin N'Soda. 10 yrs old, retaining good bite with clean teeth, well bodied, super harsh coat, movement a little stilted. 2. Windram's Cassara Princess. 8 yrs, but coat not as good as 1, nice basic shape, would have liked higher set tail., moving a little close behind. MPB (7.1) 1. Mealing's Reifranies Muirne. Coming together very nicely and I hope she continues to show promise and deliver expectations, nice size and shape, short level back, well angulated rear quarters. 2. Lewis' Bellevue Day Dream at Leodhas. Short coupled and nice balance, needs more time, broad skull, good mouth, neat ears, coat coming on well, positive on the move. 3. Gale's Bellevue Sweet Dream. PB (7.3) 1. Britten's Krisma Storm in a Teacup. Quality young lady, strong and robust yet retaining feminine appearance, well made head and carried well on the move, clean straight front, well bodied, tail well set, coat in very good order and presented very well, liked true and free movement. BP. 2. Gaydon's Bellevue Wanna Be at Gilbri. Unlucky to meet 1, nice overall type and shape, short level back, good rear angulation which produced good driving movement. 3. Morton's Brychdyn Carrie on Swifdon. JB (9.4) 1. Noyce's Maxula Box of Tricks. Really attractive and showy bitch, compact and cobby, nice front with well made shoulders, good head and expression, short level back, very good coat, moved well. 2. Dunne's Hillcloud Ice Flake at Charosmack. Nice type but not always helping her handler but showing true terrier spirit, when deciding it is OK to show she demonstrated her positive attributes. 3. Morton's Swifdon Stormy Days. PGB (5.1) 1. Storey's Nossimp Only Girl in Command. Litter sister to PGD winner, and similar comments apply, presentation in good order. 2. Fox's Comdale Miss January at Hillsted. Head in good order, short back, but not always holding her topline on the move, in good coat. 3. Davison's Braxquin Beginning a Dream. LB (5.4) 1. Gale's Bellevue Party Spirit. Good bite, neat ears, good shoulders, would like different trimming on topline and rear end, but coat in very good order, moved ok. OB (7) 1. Gillott and Carlin's Lizandycris Aint She Grand. And Grand she is, a deserving champion, appearance improved on the floor when stood correctly, good strength and balance of head, nicely proportioned throughout, solid and compact body, coat in excellent condition, nice true and free movement. Bitch CC. 2. Griffiths' Ch Karamynd Drama Queen. Feminine and nicely presented, but somehow did not seem to want to put it all in today, liked strength of neck and body, super coat, not always as sure on the move. Res Bitch CC. 3.
