WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE BOSTON 15

West Highland White Terriers

PD (0).

JD (3,2a)

1 Steemson’s The Dashing Devils Macho Man, good head, correct bite, harsh double coat, well laid shoulders, tail on top, moved with drive although rear action can be exaggerated if moved too fast. RBD.

PGD (2)

1 Claridge’s Hamish Ivory at Sunniwhite, 6 years old, good head with neat ear placement & correct bite, lovely harsh white coat, in very good condition for his age, moved well;

2 Anthony’s Rozamie Dream On with Charmedautum, coming up to 8 years old, coat of correct texture, very good shoulders, moved with drive, presentation needs to improve.

OD (3,1)

1 West’s Ch Tomlyndon Eager Ernest, very good head with neat ears, correct shoulders, short compact body, tail bang on top, level topline, moved with drive, coat not at its best today which cost him in the challenge with the bitch. BD;

2 Clements’ Brocans Blade, slightly bigger than 1 but well balanced, harsh double coat, well angulated rear assembly which he used to advantage when on the move, would benefit from better presentation.

PB (2)

1 Steemson’s Bocans Sugar Loving, 7½ months old, up to size for age, good coat, correct shoulders, moved with drive both coming & going. BP;

2 Dunne’s Charosmack Crimson Fields, just 6 months, good head with neat small ears, good shoulders, shorter coupled than 1, moved well when settled.

JB (2,1)

1 Bartley’s Atelib Playtime Joy, solid bitch, good mouth, coat not at its best showing a bit of colour, presentation could be improved.

PGB (5,2)

1 Lancaster’s Clanestar Careless Chimes, correct size, good head, harsh white coat, short back, level topline which she kept on the move, tail on top, moved well;

2 Claridge’s Alexie With Us at Sunniwhite, larger than 1, white coat although on the soft side, correct bite, short back, moved well;

3 Morton’s Swifdon Starmix.

OB (3)

1 Morton’s Swifdon Stormy Days, this young lady is my idea of a true Westie, would take her home, correct head shape with small ears, good bite, harsh white double coat of correct length, well laid shoulders, short back, tail on top, moved with drive, presentation not overdone. BB & BOB;

2 Foster’s Thozow Forget Me Not, another class bitch, unlucky to meet 1 today, all the attributes of 1, splitting hairs but just preferred the movement of 1, when fully mature she will trouble the best. RBB. If there was an award for RBOB this bitch would have been my selection;

3 The Dashing Devils Precious Star.
