WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE BORDER UNION 22

PGD

1st Jenkinson's Highcross Buddy Holly, good sized head, dark eyes, erect ears, scissor bite, well laid shoulders, level back, needs to settle on the move.

LD

1st Corri's Inverglen Piper, good strong head, ears well placed, eyes well set and dark, definite stop, scissor bite, good length of neck leading into good shoulder placement, short, level back, good turn of stifle, moved well. RDCC.

2nd Fisher's Havasu Head Boy Sh CM, strong head, good ear and eye placement, well laid shoulders, level back, good turn of stifle, moved quickly but lacked drive.

OD

1st Zaccariello's It. Ch. Violet Warrior Vertragus, good strong head, small well-placed ears, medium sized dark eyes well set giving typical westie expression, distinct stop and large teeth making a good scissor bite, length of neck sufficient to give good overall balance to the dog both when on the move and when stationary, shoulders well laid, back short and level when moving and when still, good turn of stifle and move with drive. DCC.

2nd Smith's Lingbeck The One and Only, good head, ears well placed, eyes well set, scissor bite, shoulders well placed, level back, movement a bit unsettled today.

VD

1st Fisher's Bobo Whiskey ShCM VW, nine and a half years old and looked good for his age, good head, ears erect, eyes dark, shoulder placement could be better, level back, moved OK. BV.

PB

1st Griffiths’ Holiday Romance Vixen at Karamynd, strong head with ears carried firmly and correctly placed, eyes dark and set wide apart, good stop, scissor bite made by large teeth, straight front, good reach of neck leading into well laid back shoulders, short level back which she kept standing and when on the move, moved with drive. A mature bitch who was well presented as you would expect from this owner. BP 1st in Terrier Group, BCC and BOB

JB

1st Noyce’s Maxula Vanilla Ice Cream, good head with correct ear placement and dark eyes set wide apart, scissor bite, good sized teeth, good lay back of shoulder, short level back, moved well when settled.

NB

1st Rennie’s Frisbeck Sea Thistle, good head with good placement of ears and eyes set wide apart, scissor bite, level back, tail on top, with ring training for both dog and handler could have a bright future.

GB

1st Crozier’s Dalskaith Glamis Girl, well presented bitch with good head, ears small and well placed, eyes dark and set well apart, scissor bite, good lay back of shoulders, level back, moved with drive.

PGB

1st Jenkinson’s Highcross Pandora, good head with correct ear placement and eyes set wide apart, scissor bite formed by strong teeth, shoulders well placed, short level back in good coat and moved well.

2nd Smith’s Lingbeck Hold the Dream, similar attributes as first but didn’t settle on the move today.

LB

1st Edmondson’s Highcross Prosecco at Pepabby, good strong head, ears well placed, eyes deep set and dark, good stop, scissor bite, good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders, short level back, moved with drive.

2nd Corri’s Inverglen Katrina, again a well put together bitch with all the attributes to do well but today was not settled in the ring.

OB

1st Burns’ Ch. Burneze Our Marnie, well presented bitch but I would like to have seen more length of coat, good head ears and eyes well placed, good stop, scissor bite, neck of adequate length leading into well laid shoulders, short level back, moved swiftly but the head carriage on the move was as if she was sniffing for something – nose way out in front. RBCC
