WEST HIGHLAND WHITE BORDER UNION 12 Judge(s): MR TOM H JOHNSTON (FELDKIRK) West Highland White Terriers PD (4) 1 Purchon’s Lindenka Donovan, head of good proportions, firm erect ears & good dark eye, good neck, strong legs & good body, good rump & good feet, a most promising strong youngster with good coat condition & moved with drive. BP; 2 West’s Tomlyndon Power Of Love, another quality youngster with many breed virtues, strong, active & with good head & expression, good outline & tailset, not as developed as 1 but liked this dog a lot. JD (3) 1 Hayton’s Pedrohay Roberto, masculine head with good skull to muzzle ratio, good eye, strong neck & body, good bone & good harsh coat, covered ground with purpose & held firm outline; 2 Fergus-Higgins & Barton’s Juraspirit Failte, another good head with good eye & expression, good muzzle & good neck, good depth & rib, good rump & good bone, presented in good coat but felt 1 was covering ground better. ND (3) 1 Corri’s Inverglen Lord Of The Manor, pleasing head with good stop & expression, good neck & bone, well developed forechest & strong quarters, good coat texture & covered ground with drive; 2 J Failte. GD (1) 1 Bell’s Pentangle Aramis, good skull & muzzle, good stop & dark eye, good neck & depth of body, well developed rump, good tailset & good coat texture, moved with good width in rear. PGD (4) 1 Dale’s Something Special Superbia Lynnsto, good head & stop, strong muzzle, good dark eye & well placed firm ears, strong bone & good depth of body, good coat texture & good outline, moved well; 2 Pearson’s Winoski Mr Chips, good head & expression but preferred the overall balance of 1, dark eye & good firm ears, good neck & bone, good depth & rib, prefer more rear angulations, good tailset, moved well, good harsh coat; 3 Jenkinson’s Highcross Willie Be Charmed. LD (3) 1 Burns’ Burneze Dizzee Rascal, masculine balanced head with dark eye, erect firm ears, good neck, bone & well developed front, strong loin & well placed tail, good ribs, covered ground & presented in good harsh coat; 2 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Arlo, another quality head with good expression, good teeth & neck, good bone, body shape, good tailset, not holding as firm a picture as 1, well presented, in good condition; 3 West’s Tomlyndon Spoilt Rotten. OD (6) 1 Griffiths’ Karamynd Play It Again, masculine balanced head, good stop & muzzle, dark eye, firm erect ears, good neck, strong bone, good depth & firm back, compact & active with depth of rib, strong loin & well developed rear, good harsh coat & held it all together when covering the ground with drive. CC; 2 Edmondson’s Ch Pepabby Prank, another quality active strong exhibit with good head & expression, dark eye & strong legs, good depth & firm back, good harsh coat, not flowing as well on the move as 1 but pushed very close. RCC; 3 Tullis’ Drumsheugh True Grit. PB (4) 1 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Orchid, feminine balanced puppy with good bone & depth, good outline & tailset, held best picture on move & should have promising future, good coat; 2 Mallon’s Colla Candace, another quality youngster with balanced head & good expression, good bone & body proportions, good coat & condition, another I liked, just not as forward as 1; 3 Miller’s Pauljons Princess Cassie. JB (3) 1 Mallon’s Colla Olympia, good skull & muzzle, dark eye & good depth of chest, well developed front, good bone, active & strong, in good harsh coat, good drive from rear & holds good outline; 2 Dale’s Lynnsto Eye Candy, another good head with well placed erect ears, good neck & body shape, good harsh coat, strong, active but not as firm in pasterns as 1; 3 Hayton’s Pedrohay Silver Magnolia. NB (1) 1 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Miss Molly, another quality puppy with good breed virtues, quality head & good ears, good bone & forechest, good rear & tailset, held good picture on move & presented in good harsh coat. GB (4) 1 Bell’s Pentangle Penny Lane, feminine with good expression, good muzzle, dark eye & well placed ears, good neck & topline, good tailset, good rib & active on the move, well presented; 2 Wilson’s Gairich First Addition, not as mature in head as 1, dark eye & well placed ears, good body shape & tailset, compact but not as developed in rear as 1, presented in good condition & needs a little more time to complete the picture; 3 Kinnaird’s Gilbri Ruby Tuesday at Pepperknowe. PGB (4) 1 Burns’ Burneze Plan Bea, feminine quality head, good muzzle & dark eye, well placed ears, good bone, short, compact & well ribbed, good tailset & active on the move, good harsh coat; 2 Edmondson’s Pepabby Pirouette, dark eye & good expression, good body shape & good rib, good neck & good feet, good coat condition & active on the move, prefer rear drive of 1 & overall maturity, just needs more time; 3 Stock’s Lindenka Apple Charlotte. LB (5) 1 Smith’s Lingbeck Playing The Lady, balanced feminine head with dark eye & well placed ears, good bone, feet & topline, hardy & compact, good rump & holds balanced outline on the move; 2 Tullis’ Drumsheugh White Mischief, another quality exhibit of good shape, good bone & feet, lovely head & expression, not as well developed in front as 1, presented in good harsh coat & also covered ground with purpose; 3 Hunt’s Kellethrigg Snowflake Lass. OB (7) 1 Smith’s Ch Faymar Fine Romance, feminine balanced quality head, dark eye & erect firm ears, good neck, strongly built & good depth of rib, compact & holds firm outline when covering the ground with drive & purpose, good harsh coat & stands on good feet. CC & BOB; 2 Griffiths’ Ch Karamynd Drama Queen, another quality exhibit with similar virtues to 1, also with well developed muscle & good active movement, presented in good harsh coat, pushed 1 very close, lots to like about her.
