WEST HIGHLAND WHITE JUDGE BLACKPOOL 16

West Highland White Terriers

Thank you to all the committee, stewards & especially the exhibitors for a most enjoyable day, unfortunately we had to retreat from a well sized outdoor ring to the wet weather ring when it started to rain, & this unsettled some youngsters.

V (4)

1 Pearson’s Winoski Mr Chips, strong, well balanced, cobby 7½ years dog. With masculine head. Deep stop, good mouth, & earset. Straight front, good shoulder & level topline. Harsh white wire jacket. RBD;

2 McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Living Legend, 11 year old in excellent coat & condition, slightly longer cast than 1. Good head, front & layback of shoulder, level topline. Moved very well. Very close decision.

PGD (3,1a)

1 Windram’s Leonardo Ventura, strong headed dog with good shoulder & neck. Level topline. A little less coat would improve outline. Playing up owner on the move;

2 McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Local Laddie, smaller balanced dog with nice head & topline, good white coat, he was also not moving the way he can.

LD (4,3)

1 Carlin & Gillott’s Lizandycris Line Me Up, a real showman, strong & well balanced with excellent head. Good deep stop, neat ears, good mouth. Lovely neck & shoulders, flowing into level topline. Well set tail & strong hindquarters. Moved freely keeping his shape on the move. Lovely harsh white coat presented to perfection. BD & BOB.

OD (3,2)

1 Windram’s Louie Conquistador, smaller cobby dog, nice head with neat ears. Level topline. Moved OK.

PB (4)

1 Dale’s Lynnsto Grace And Favour, very confident 11 months little lady. Pretty feminine head with good stop. Good mouth, small well set ears. Very balanced with short level topline, strong hindquarters. Moved well around ring with tail on top. Good coat & presentation. Never stopped showing. BP;

2 Fletcher-King’s Frisbeck Fair Lady of Arrobricyn, well grown 7 months bitch with lovely head. Deep stop, neat well set ears, good mouth. Good level topline, lovely white coat. Moved very well.

PGB (5,2)

1 Smith’s Faymar Tartan Fling, I judged her before when she was a puppy & very pleased on how she’s matured. Lovely shaped head, with deep stop, dark eyes, very neat well set ears. Good length of neck flowing into topline. Great shoulder layback & front. Level topline & tail on top which she held on the move. Strong quarters. Moved very well. Whitest of coats so well presented. BB;

2 Dale’s Lynnsto Issa Star, another excellent bitch, very balanced with good head, good neck, shoulders & topline. Tail well set. Good harsh jacket. Moved well around ring. Close decision with 1. RBB.

LB (1)

1 Andrew’s Rupann Spring Surprise, very feminine pretty bitch, short back with level topline, moved happily around ring.
