Very distinct dark brindle, neat rose ears, round black eyes, correct mouth and with beautiful expression and really feminine, so no problem mixing up the sexes with this one, nice straight front, level topline, correct bend to stifles, neat feet, correct tail shape, altogether a beautiful young bitch, although still a minor puppy, my love of the Stafford has always been centered on the bitches, and with the future in mind this would be the one I would have taken home with me. There are hundreds of good dogs out there to use, but the mainstay of any good kennel is a good bitch and I think this one will have a really good future in the showring. Best Puppy Bitch. 2 Howard’s Matrixstaffs Black Beauty. Nice black brindle bitch with some nice points, nice shaped skull, dark round eye, neat ears, well off for bone, level topline and well muscled back end, slim waistline, stood and showed herself of well, unlucky to be in the ring with my class winner, but no shame good enough to win in any class of bitches, deserved her placing, and will like the class winner do well in the showring. 3 Roper & Hornberg Wilson’s Ruby Ice At Trawden Fransimo Bohemia TAF (Imp). PB (12, 1) 1 Fairhurst’s Fairlenium Queen Of Marvel. Black brindle with white flash, neat head, nice rose ears, good mouth, level topline, liked this one a lot, really enjoying myself with all these top quality young bitches, much better than sitting watching someone else judging, this one well of for bone, strong backend, correct bend to stifles, neat feet, and correct pump handle tail, future looking rosy for these young bitches, ring placings will no doubt change over time, but these young bitches will always be in the reckoning, first class is the word I would use. 2 Holmes’ Barielle Winters Solstice. Another nice black brindle bitch, correct head shape, with the neatest of rose ears, nice round dark eye, level topline on a nice short coupled body, stood and handled well, the handlers were under a lot of stress trying to walk there dogs in this small narrow ring, a lot of slipping and sliding and other dogs jumping up on each other, I tried to assess the movement on this batch of nice bitches but found it a waste of time, so you won’t see much written about movement in my critique, at least I never seen any real bad movement, this bitch at least got a good walk in which pleased me no end, deserved it’s placing. 3 Higgins & Rogers’ Berrystock Miss Firefly. JB (12, 1) 1 Canavan’s Boldstock Who’s Bothered Now. Black brindle, nice dark round eye, nice correct size jaw, neat rose ears setting of this bitches nice head shape, really enjoyed going over this bitch, nice drop of brisket with slim waistline, correct bend to stifles, and a level topline to match, a very neat short coupled young bitch, nice tail placement, nice straight front, neat feet, I’d starting to really enjoy this judging appointment which, by the way, is my last for health reasons, if I was 100% fit I would never pack it in, to run your hands over this wonderful pack of beautiful Stafford bitches is a great honour, and this bitch was no exception, first class is the word. 2 Hands & Freeman’s Gazstaff’s Black Velvet At Skystaff. Another black brindle bitch out of the same mould as the class winner, nice head with correct ear placement, nice dark round eye, good mouth, well of for bone, nice level topline, good bend to stifles strong boned legs with straight front on a good set of feet, correct shaped tail, moved ok, I enjoyed judging this class which by definition is the class Champions come out of, will certainly miss all this in the future, Nice bitch made this easy for me. 3 Hammond’s Hammystaff’s Slap N Tickle. YB (13, 2) 1 Johnson’s Ch Ellchansha Once Upon a Time. Black brindle bitch. This was a very nice bitch, plenty of bone, nice shaped skull, good mouth, with round dark eye, neat placed rose ears, nice level topline, slim waistline, good strong backend, nice drop of brisket, strong boned legs, neat feet, neat pump handled tail, I’m going to miss going over nice bitches of this type, a real classy lassie, with more to come from her, I was really enjoying this guys, we must have the best bitches in the world on this small island. 2 Jackson’s Jackabyte Bocouture JW. Nice black brindle bitch with all the attributes of the class winner, another treat for me to go over her, beautiful head with nice dark round eye, neat rose ears, correct mouth, strong boned with a good level topline, nice straight fronted bitch, handled well, good bend to stifle, correct drop of brisket, strong boned legs, nice tail placement, all good stuff with this nice bitch, and a pleasure to go over her, in real good hands with this handler, the future bright for this bitch. 3 Houwaart’s Jecanibo’s Girls Got Rhythm. PGB (15) 1 Funnell’s Powerpack Alura Finvarra JW. Black brindle bitch in the top tier, lovely feminine bitch, the type I love, another one I would take home with me, super head, neat rose ears, good mouth, dark round eyes, nice level topline, slim waistline behind a good drop of brisket, correct bend to stifles, good straight front, well boned legs on neat feet, nice shaped tail, moved and handled a treat, it’s a bonus for me to handle such a nice Stafford bitch, and I’m really going to miss all of this, these lovely bitches have made my day, and this one is the iceing on the cake. First class. 2 Hunter & Davies’ Mournestaffs Magies Leap. Another nice black brindle bitch, they keep popping up in front of me, beautiful head, with neat rose ears and dark round eyes, good mouth, keen expression, this bitch is well off for bone, nice level topline, well tucked up waistline, strong hindquarters, straight fronted bitch, good bend of stifle, finished off with a neat tail, deserved her placing, very nice bitch, moved ok. 3 Riley & Corcoran’s Moiru Shine Ya Light. LB (15, 3) 1 Lee & Coleman’s Berrystock Enigma Black. Black brindle, which ever way you looked at this bitch it stood out with a label saying (you must look at me) and it worked, beautiful head with a cracking pair of neat rose ears, dark round eyes, nice correct mouth, a solid short coupled bitch with plenty of bone, deep drop of brisket with a well muscled set of hindquarters, well bent stifles, strong straight front, on well padded feet, finished of with a nice pump handled tail, and on a day when good movement went begging, this bitch walked ok, I new that this one was going to take some beating, but with the open dog class to come you just don’t know, but a real pleasure to have had the chance to go over such a cracking bitch, I was over the moon with the quality I’d seen today, thanks guys. Tiger brindle bitch, and what a cracker, nice head, neat rose ears, good mouth, plenty of bone, dark round eye, solid front on this bundle of fire, like the saying goes (built like a brick --------), nice level topline, well muscled rear end, correct drop of brisket, good bend to the stifles, strong boned legs, on well padded feet, correct pump handled tail, yes it was a bundle of fun but it deserved its placing. 3 Funnell’s Powerpack Cherokee JW. OB (12) 1 Simpson’s Briganah Body And Soul. Black brindle bitch, another smashing bitch, very feminine, the type I’ve always loved, beautiful head with a lovely expression, neat rose ears, dark round eye, complete with a strong but well proportioned body with level topline, tapering off to a super slim waistline, with good drop of brisket, correct bend to her stifles, standing on solid well boned legs, loved this bitch, she moved a treat, finished off with neat tail, I’ve been spoiled today with some of the best bitches ever, and the worst thing is my judging days are over, but thanks to the quality of the bitches like this one I’ll never forget them. Res BCC. 2 Beekman’s Ch Jacanibo’s The Jean Genie Njk. Black brindle bitch, another smart bitch who deserves a lot of praise, fits the standard to a tee, nice feminine expression, nice dark round eye, neat rose ears, good mouth, a bit of class about this one, nice compact body with level topline, good strong straight front, nice drop of brisket, good bend of stifle, strong back end, neat tail, well boned front legs, neat feet and correct tail carriage, very nice bitch and deserved to be in the top tier, top class. 3 Karlsson’s Lackyle Banrion Uasal At Jewelstaff.
