STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE WINDSOR

Staffordshire Bull Terriers

VD

1 Summers’ Jewelstaff Kubia Khan at Warriorstsff, brindle dog, still looking to part, nice profile, well balanced with good head & front, level top line held on the move, handled well;

2 Roberts’ New Holland at Jamborob, brindle dog with similar virtues as 1st but not the head of 1st, moved & handled well.

MPD

1 Turner’s Tidestaff Dark Wizard, nice shaped skull with short muzzle, round correct shaped eye, good neck length, level topline & nice body shape & outline, good bone for age, moved well & deserved this prize.

PD

1 Davies’ Braunstaff from Hasbury, good headed pup with good ears, round dark eye, good clean mouth, nice front & spring of rib, good backend, moved OK when settled, just needs a bit more handling to give him confidence;

2 Jack’s Sikaistaff The Beast, bigger dog to 1st with a lot of the same virtues & under a different judge the result could be reversed but for me on the day I preferred the cleaner lines of 1;

3 Rowe & South’s Illori Akinlana.

JD

1 Thomas’ Cazomic Crime Fighter, a super headed red dog with a wicked keen expression, distinct stop, dark round eye & the neatest of ears, correct clean mouth, his head is set off with a nice black muzzle, clean straight front with good feet & black nails, good bone & well sprung short coupled body, good drop of brisket, body is well muscled for age, coat was short, smooth & tight, moved parallel when settled, shown in great nick & handle well to get the best from this young dog which I thing will have a great future. CC & BOB;

2 Hawken’s Carfury Bal Dhu, brindle dog with a striking head with correct proportions, a very balanced dog, short coupled body with strong backend, good tuck-up, made he’s handler work very hard to get him to settle;

3 Hines’ Nettleworth No Way Ho Zay.

YD

1 Butler’s Ramblesaff Cos I Could, b/br dog with good head, ears, mouth & front, ample bone, up on pasterns, would like a bit more spring of rib but hope that it will come as he is still young, good tuck up, nice backend with a nice bend of stifle, moved & handled well;

2 Adlaw’s Fairleniums Top Gear, white strong dog with a super head, he was a handful for the handler but when she got him to free stand you could see all he’s virtues & that was enough for me, she just needs to work a bit harder with him as he is a very nice dog with all virtues of a Stafford. 1st was just a cleaner dog all round, well done;

3 Coble’s Surestaff Wellington.

ND

1 Row & South’s Illori Akinlana, good size dog with clean head & good bite, front & rear quarters correct with good topline, moved quite well & handled well;

2 Harris & Row’s Illori Azizi, very similar to 1st but preferred movement of 1st;

3 Papworth’s Tiezelstaffs Monnshine Bay.

PGD

1 Davies’ Man Of God, b/br dog up on the leg, correct head shape with dark round eye, good bite with clean lips, straight front & good feet. Good topline that he held on the move, good hind quarters, moved & handled well with nice ring presents;

2 Membury’s Mitzstaff Crazy Cuz, b/br dog, smaller then 1st but has good ring presents to with a nice shaped head & keen eye, good bite with clean lips, good front & nice ribs, level topline, nice backend, good feet, moved a little unsettled on the day but overall a very nice dog;

3 Whitley’s Ginstean Black Bomber.

LD

1 Halifax’s Jackstaff Spanish Gold, a very smart red dog, with a very nice head that is deep with short enough muzzle, dark round eye, good ears that set helps he’s piercing expression, good length of neck, good clean front with enough drop of brisket & spring of rib, close coupled with level top line that kept on the move & he moved very well, handled to perfection. RCC;

2 Houghton’s Belterstaffs Ginger Joe, another top drawer red dog with much the same qualities & virtues as 1st but he was giving he’s handler a hard time which lost him the 1st place on the day, moved with drive & fire in his belly, these 2 dogs could change places from one show to the next;

3 Grove’s Manark Murphys Law.

OD

1 Blacker’s Bullrichs Bismarck at Crossguns, red dog, this is the first time I’ve seen this dog in the flesh, he has one of the best head’s out there, short, deep through, broad skull, distinct stop, short foreface with clean lips & good bit, super front & feet, nice brisket & well sprung rib, level topline, powerful backend, handled very well, considered him for RCC;

2 Williams’ Jodel’s Fernando, this was another first time seeing this dog & was one of those dog’s that you have to keep looking back at he is so sound & once you put your hands on him you can see why he as everything that the 1st dog has but just not the head that he has & if he did he would of been my 1st place. So a big well done to the breeder & owner of this fine specimen of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier;

3 Kemp’s Caymenstaffs Carlos Way.

GCD 1 Harris & Rowe’s Illori Azizi.

VB

1 Hopkins’ Ch Trufflestaaff Mon ifa Kanika, a super b/br bitch that I had the pleasure of awarding the BCC on the first time I awarded CCs & she still has all the qualities to this day;

2 Roberts & Denbright’s My Precious at Jamborob, red bitch of good size, nice eye that are round & looking forward, good front & feet, good topline, moved OK.

MPB

1 Migano-Fricker & Fricker’s Calavey’s Magical Dream, top size pup with a good clean head, nice round eye, clean lip & good bite, enough under jaw, good front with enough brisket for age, good top line & backend, just needs to settle when on the move;

2 Hopkins & Gabel’s Kahuna Trufflestaff of Spirit-staffs, good head for age with correct bite clean lip, nice front & feet, good in body & back end moved like a baby but time will tell.

PB

1 Thisby’s Samtan Black Pearl at Taurinstaff, b/br bitch with excellent head showing correct breed type, short strong muzzle, deep through, deep stop & dark round eye with good expression, nice ears, strong straight front & good feet, good depth of brisket & spring of rib for age, a nice picture from all angles, handler need to get more confidence with her to get the best results with her. BP;

2 Freeman & Davies’ Samtan Dark Angel at Windstaff, b/br with white, very much the same as 1st but not the same head as first but a very nice pup;

3 Thomas’ Sunnystone Bit Of Brimstone.

JB

1 Clarke’s Aymstaff Magic Moments, b/br strong bitch with a very good head, nice dark eye, strong under jaw, correct bite, clean front with good feet, ample rib & a good tuck up, good rear angulations, moved with drive from her strong backend, handler needs to practice more with her then she should have a bright future;

2 Manito’s Dynastaff Pure Science, b/br that was not as strong as 1st but a very sound bitch & nice head, dark round eye, good under jaw, correct bite, clean front with good feet, enough rib & good tuck up, moved well & handled well;

3 Lewis’ Macadermus Myrna Queen at Inkastaff.

YB

1 Thomas’ Pridesdale Special Edition, red with white bitch that is up on her toes, good head & expression but still feminine, clean front, good rib for age, nice top line that she held on the move, nice backend moved well, handler got the best out of her;

2 Canavan’s Boldstock Am I Bovered, b/br bitch with a good clean head & nice dark round eye, correct bite with good size teeth, clean front, nice deep brisket for her frame, good feet, moved well when settled & in fit condition, handled very well;

3 Coble’s Suresstaff Wield Orchid.

NB

1 Grima’s Aymstaff Angel’s Artemis, b/br with white front, top size bitch with a good head, dark round eye giving her a feminine look, correct length of foreface, good front with ample rib, nice topline, strong hindquarters, handled well;

2 Harrison & Roper’s Trawden Ice And Spice, r/w bitch with a nice head, clean front, enough rib & brisket, nice topline & backend, move well once the handler got her head up;

3 S Bit Of Brimstone.

1 Wilks’ Mishdar’s Special Order for Jevaces, b/br bitch displaying good breed type, very good head strong deep through clean muzzle, good stop with round dark eye, good ears with a nice expression, good fore & rear quarters, broad chest & spring of rib, level topline moved & shown well;

2 Hopgood & Kerry’s Starolestff Mytic of Antroboss, very much the same virtues & qualities as 1st but preferred the head of 1st;

3 Williams’ Canakey Sweet Cool Delight.

LB 1 Kastner & Blacker’s Bullrichs Burning Heart, super red bitch that I have judged when she was a puppy & I was not disappointed with what I had in front of me, her stunning head & expression that take your eye as soon as she walks in the ring, she has good proportions for a Standard bitch, balanced & feminine, strong muzzle with correct bite, dark enough eye that it round & looking foreword, well boned front & good rib, nice topline & good tuck-up, hindquarters that are well angulated & in very good condition, showed very well for her handler. Was pleased to award her the CC;

2 Rogers’ Berrystock Charlies Angel, b/br with a super head & expression, clean outline when viewed from all angles, good neck, shoulders & front, tight feet & good pasterns, stood well with tight fit body, shown in top condition & unlucky to have met 1st on the day;

3 Hopwood & Holt’s Bolbstock Here I Am.

OB

1 Davies’ Ch Sebsonic Shinealight at Stormbull, another one I have judged before & a top draw bitch she is, strong head on good neck, dark round eye, good bite with clean lips, muzzle shot, good stop, good front with enough bone for her size & has always shown to perfection. RCC;

2 Ryan’s Rubericla Little Bumblebee, powerful feminine head, front is true, good feet & legs up on her toes throughout, good well sprung rib, level topline & nice tuck-up, correct angulations, nice balanced bitch that was handled well, unlucky to have met 1st on the day;

3 Jones’ Rougestaff Flaming Ice.

GCB

1 Thomson’s Starolestaff Lady Bea with Siriustaff, I am sorry but I couldn’t make out my comment on my Dictaphone so this is why there are no comments on this bitch.
