STAFFORDSHIRE BULL SOUTH WALES 24 Judge: Andy Land Thank you South Wales Kennel Association for the opportunity to judge this year�s show, I was very pleased with the entry and thank you all for the support and good sportsmanship, many thanks to my good friend Mark Davies who offered his stewarding expertise along with Sue from the society made everything run well, in the future maybe a thought that set an earlier start time for larger entries as the 2-30 group time was a task, I was very pleased with my final line with both sexes and main winners very much so, I found only 3 entries with mouth faults, thankyou all VD (3) 1 Rowe & South, Illori Akinlana, JW SHCM VW D/Brindle, white, who�s into double figures and showing a bit of grey, despite this he�s still full of life and is in very good condition and still has good muscle tone, his height to weight balances nicely and body parts mould into each over very well, correctly set front & rear quarters with good columns of support, straight front and his brisket sits well with elbow, lovely headshape with correct skull to muzzle ratio, tight in flesh, large canines, free flowing movement and would be nice to see younger examples like him, credit to owner. 2 Lewis, CH Biggleswick Splash Of Ginge, Strong pigment red with white feet & chest, heavier cast than 1st, strong well set rear quarters with width to thigh, level top line and well of for rib, nice reach of neck supporting a strongr headpiece which is steeper through stop than 1st, dark eyes and well set, enough length to muzzle and is clean in lip and strongr in under jaw, moved ok 3 Jordon, Dazmarnic Know What I Mean,J W SHCM MPD (5,1) 1 Hall, Geordiestaff Local Hero, D/Brindle with white feet & blaze, just turned 6months and at the gangly stage with a nice length in straight radius to grow into, strong in pasterns, well set front & rear quarters, eyes and ears set correct, good dentition, neck flows into a corresponding length in body,moved up and back well enough enjoying himself BPD. 2 Funnell, Powerpack Jack In The Box D/Brindle, slightly longer cast than 1st with a straight front and good width, brisket sits well with elbow, nice shape to skull and nice slope developing through stop good length to muzzle and clean lipped, nice width to rear quarters, moved ok 3 Rhodes. Taraiel Havoc At Tercota PD (3) 1 Robinson Cox Hamason Sweet Little Mystery Attractive marked Mahogany Brindle/White who�s well of for substance and heavier than my ideal, however his skeleton layout is good with sound columns of support, his brindle pattening enhances his scapular and upper arm line, level topline, large skull in which balances with muzzle, well set mouth, dark eyes, tidy ears, powered up and matt no problem 2 Duffield & Mansell Duffield, Sharmara Lacrnum Inflamori Strong pigment red with white blaze & feet, well set dark eyes, correct ear carriage, good length & depth to muzzle & tight in flesh, well set teeth, steeper through stop than 1st, level topline, straight front with nice slope in pasterns, would prefer more angle to rear quarters, moved ok once settled 3 Moult, Kamaristaffs Royal Legend JD (9) 1 Marsden, Jayneze Dr Jimmy At Modlife Brindle/White plash on chest with a very desirable head given excellent expression, he�s max incline for me through stop and his muzzle is of good length, tight in lip enhancing his strong visible under jaw, gleaming teeth are well set, dark in eye with nice fill of forface, healthy nostrils, his height to weight balances well with good length to limbs, front & rear quarters set correct given sound columns of support, in fit condition and one of the best moving Staffords today, interesting future ahead 2 Duncan, Rhebelstaff Hunky Dory D/Brindle, whos similar in outline to 1st with the similar virtues, well balanced throughout and sound in construction, lovely topline, nice depth and length of ribcage. Attractive underline and good width in thigh, well positioned rear pads, straight front with ample width, skull and muzzle of correct ratios, strong cheek bumps and no loose flesh, correct dentition, moved ok once settled, decent example 3 Mills, Stormbreakers Vegenance At Milarke Bull YD (8,1) 1 Watson, Dringshaw Masterpiece At Sparkstaff Classy looking red/White skewbald who has an attractive athletic outline with shape & symmetry I prefer, liked his substance with muscle tone, desirable length to straight radius with enough width apart, correct slope in pastern, strong enough in skull for me with a nice incline through stop and length to occiput, dark in eye, rose ears, plenty of length in muzzle with tight lips, well set teeth, healthy nostrils, his front & rear structure set correct with adequate length in back, fit underline, movement was free and easy and helped him win the class 2 Walton, Kirk, Rochelle & Rochelle, Kirkstaff God Of Thunder Red/White on chest and dark mask, lovely headpiece to this fella with a keen expression, good width of skull and correct slope through stop with detail, his foreface is tight in flesh and has a decent length muzzle, clean lips cover a well set mouth, strong in underjaw, rose ears and dark in eye, he has a nice profile with clean flowing lines from neck to tail set with a level topline, strong backend and in fit condition, just lost out on movement, close decision 3 Richards, Sikaistaff It Is What It Is PGD (8) 1 Kendall, Marenystaff Lord Spiderman Eyecatching skewbald with a sound skeleton outline and carrying a nice amount of substance throughout, similar in headshape to YD winner, liked his fit condition and his powerful rear quarters pushed him up the matt with drive, front movement was good once handler slackened lead, held a level topline, nice cut up to underline and looks good in profile, an interesting example with alot to like and not overdone in anyway 2 Thomas Biggleswick Mr Tom (AI] Lovely pigment red/White with dark mask and very typical looking from this kennel, he has a balanced headpiece of decent length muzzle & skull with good width & tight in forface & lip, correct dentition, all body parts fit together well & height to weight balances ok, he has neat feet and were superior to 1st, moved well but didn�t look animated today and not as hard in touch, could change places another time 3 Page Elitebull Mischief At Bellastaff JW LD (15) 1 Crawford, Dekayro Mystic Mac For Crowstaff Topside D/Brindle, white feet & chest, lovely amount of lift to this fella, his straight radius hits you with impressive strong looking amount of bone, neatest of feet with correct slope in pasterns, impressive profile with good length level topline, brisket sits well with elbow with decent length of ribcage, correct scapular & upper arm angles gave a good reach in front. Attractive length to neck supporting a functional chiselled looking headpiece with a nice incline through stop and distance to occiput, well set ears, dark in eye with just the correct amount of forface beneath, strong muzzled with nice length & depth, clean enough in lip and strength in underjaw, big well set cannines, healthy nostrils,s hort coupled & nicely set pelvis, rear quarters correspond well with front during transit, correct tail set, in fit enough condition RDCC 2 Rhodes, Zivannaz Babylons Burning Red with white chest & feet, whos in lovely hard condition & his tight coat enhances muscle seperation, desirable height to weight with clean flowing lines throughout lovely length to limbs, straight in radius with well set front assembly, pleasing body shape and symmetry,liked his very clean lip line, visible underjaw well set dentition and healthy nostrils, not as wide in muzzle as 1st, well set dark eyes, not over steep through the stop, level topline, light in loin, plenty of width to thigh, good free flowing movement with reach and drive, spirited and very much the type I like 3 Kirk,Kirkstaff First Avenger OD (5,1) 1 Page, CH Assilio Lisbon Lion Red with white chest & feet, who has the CH before kennel name in which isn�t surprising, he has a very well constructed skeleton and not to heavy cast and his muscle tone is in hard condition, his front & rear assembly work well together and has an ideal length in back, all this added up to his lovely movement, all his body parts mould together beautifully and is pleasing to the eye, loved his profile where active & agile is easy to imagine, his feet, ears eyes & tail are all correct, is head isn�t overdone with a lovely expression, so tight in flesh and is deep enough through skull, just enough length in muzzle although a shade more would perfect, strong in underjaw with well set teeth, healthy nostrils, credit to owner as he�s always in good condition, lost out for BOB to his daughter today, pleased to notice that he�s passing on his lovely virtues as some good examples were here today DCC 2 Waltham, CH Dringshaw Athios JW Topside pied/red skewbald who also has gained top honour�s and was up against his sire today,big powerful boy who looks good from all angles, very well put together in a heavier casting than 1st very strong rear quarters to this boy and had plenty of drive on matt and reaches well with forehand while holding a level topline, scores well in front with good length in radius with width and strong bone, well of for rib, nicely set shoulders & upper arm, good reach of neck supporting a punishing headpiece with a keen expression & correct ratios, uses his ears to advantage, correct mouth 3 Clements, Power Up Brian GCD (3) 1 Rowe & South, Illori Akinlani JW 2 Mills, Stormbreakers Vengeance At Milarke Bull Red with dark mask, longer cast than 1st with well set rear quarters, brisket sits well with elbow and good length of ribcage, straight in front, max depth of skull for me with a good length of muzzle, no loose flesh & clean lipped and an underjaw visible, healthy nostrils, dark in eye, moved ok 3 Funnell Powerpack Jack In The Box VB (4) 1 Rowe & South,CH Illori Believe In Me Brindle, who I had the pleasure of awarding top honours to 5 years ago and nice to still witness her condition & athletic profile still at the age of nearly 8 she still has an attractive underline & hard quads with good turn in stifle, her height to weight still balances well, movement wasn�t a problem and glided both ways, she has a lovely headshape not overdone in skull with good length to muzzle and tight in lip covering well set large cannnines, strong in underjaw, worthy CH 2 Tittley & Bosanko, Garwstaff Black Beauty D/Brindle and another whos very much to my liking attractive length to limbs and good length in radius, nice length in back with a level topline, well set rear quarters with nicely placed rear pads giving sound support, not as hard condition as 1st, functional headpiece & very similar to class winner, movement was free & easy 3 Batten, Hammystaff Happiness MPB (14,2) 1 Rochelle, Rochelle & Kirk, Metalbull Black Pearl D/Brindle with white chest & feet. Classy looking youngster of just 6 months, whos got a lovely well constructed outline and well up on her pasterns, she�s got a nice feminine menacing expression correct mouth, straight in radius with well set upper arm and scapular with good length, nice slope in pelvis and rear quarters hinge nicely, low set vertical hocks, moved freely, promising future ahead, BPB &BPIB good luck 2 Watson, Sparkstaff Silent Mary Pied with Brindle patch on ear, nicely balanced youngster with a clean tight in flesh headpiece of good ratios, lovely dark eye, straight front with adequate width strong pasterns,l ooks nice in profile with level topline, well of for rib, close coupled and good width to thigh, rear pads sit well, moved ok 3 Funnelll, Powerpack Euphoria PB (9) 1 Thomas Biggleswick Wicked One Strong pigment red with white blaze & feet. Attractive looking youngster with enough lift and length in back to suite, nicely set rear quarters with well set pelvis, ample depth and length to ribcage, clean flowing lines from skull to tail set with a level topline, straight in front with tidy feet, correct incline through stop with nice fill to foreface, decent length of muzzle well set mouth, rose ears, moved wel 2 Taylor,Taylor Coombes & Coombes, Fredbur Good Yubari At Niatona D/brindle with white chest & feet, a promising youngster who was unsettled at first but at final assessment her quality was apparent, a standard girl who�s body parts fit together well throughout, sound in construction with good columns of support, typical headshape with nice feminine expression with no loose flesh, correct mouth, looks good from all angles and should do well once use to the show game 3 Jones Kamaristaff Royal Legacy JB (9) 1 Winrow & Greaves, Jayneze Miss Attitude Brindle who�s very much the type I prefer due to her attractive length of limbs and substance giving lovely bodyshape with cllean flowing lines, well set angles front and rear with a good length in back produced true movement with no interference,close coupled, level topline, tucked up underline, dark in eye and well set into a balanced headpiece of correct ratios, rose ears which she uses to advantage, correct mouth, strong in underjaw and tight in lip, 2 Liggins, Liggins & Curd D/Brindle who�s stunning head took my attention as it has the appearance of carved from stone with nice detail, correct contour through stop with good length of muzzle and tight in flesh well set eyes and ears completed picture correct dentition with large cannines, true straight front with desirable lift and well up on her toes and in fit condition, not a heavy cast girl but carries a good amount of muscle to her well set rear quarters, moved well, just preffered slightly larger outline of 1st, close decision 3 Hopkins, Trufflestaff Nyekundu Itri YB (17,2) 1 Blake, Llansteffan The One D/Brindle who was surrounded by some very good opponents today, she has a nicely balanced & very well put together girl, who will appeal to most and has an attractive profile, well placed front & rear quarters with good length to upper arm & scapular, brisket sits well to elbow & with equal distance to floor & to withers, level topline, good width of thigh, well set pelvis, light in loin, straight front with tidy feet, typical sbt headpiece with correct skull & muzzle ratios & feminine looking, well set mouth & ears, dark in eye, moved freely, nice example 2 Smith Dringshaw Girl On Fire, Red with white bib, neck, feet and muzzle ,lovely headshape to this girl with lovely incline through stop with a chiselled appearance, well placed dark eyes, correct length of muzzle and tight in flesh, strong cheek bumps, nice to see a visible underjaw with depth & width enhanced by a tight lipline, correct dentition, healthy nostrils,she has a nice reach in neck which flows through top of scapular and into a level topline, well set pelvis and good width of thigh, short coupled and attractive underline, straight front, ample rib, moved smoothly 3 Gutierrez, Gonzalez, Hurst, Dringshaw Sugar Moon PGB (14,1) 1 Rowe & South Illori Constellation JW D/Brindle who�s height to weight balances her well, pleased to see and touch hard muscletone and seperation,in which helped her win the class along with an attractive profile and sound skeleton layout, she has decent length to limbs with front and rear angles set correct, feminine expression with correct ratios of muzzle to skull, strong in underjaw with well set teeth, straight in radius, brisket sits well with elbow, nice example who wasn�t shy firing up, moved ok 2 Mitchell,Vimavel Red Angel Red with white feet, chest, standard girl whos well constructed throughout with ample substance for her height remaining balanced to the eye, nice shape to skull with the chiselled expression, well set dark eyes, rose ears, ample length of muzzle and no loose flesh, strong in underjaw with correct mouth, nice width of thigh, straight front, good depth and lengthto ribcage, level topline, correct tail carriage, moved well 3 Emery, Kodanott Duckin El Del Casails LB (15,5) 1 Walthams,Dringshaw Danse Du Feu Red with white blaze & socks. Classy topside younger girl who oozing with the virtues I adore, loved her good range in radius with adequate width between, brisket sits well with elbow and has equal distance to floor and withers, correct slope in pasterns, enough forechest, her ribcage has width and good length running into an attractive underline, correct tilt to pelvis and ample turn in stifle, well set hocks, correct tail set, decent width of thigh, level topline & correct set of upper arm & scapular, her wonderful profile boasts clean flowing lines, strength with shape & symmetry & sound columns of support, feminine headpiece with no loose flesh, chiselled looking through the stop with a desirable incline, well set dark eyes & typical ears, functional length to muzzle & strong in underjaw, large cannines and correct mouth covered with tight lips, healthy nostrils, free flowing movement both ways, pleased to award her BCC & BOB 2 Seymour Dekayro All Eyes On Me D/Brindle, white,who has a fantastic. Classy athletic outline & in fit condition, similar in make up to class winner with the same great virtues, sound in construction and moved well, has all the qualities of a Ch, unfortunately carries a mouth fault otherwise would have had myself scratching my bald head, believe this was her final outing so thank you for bringing her 3 Walker Maxstaff Miss Vivienne At Teshleystaff OB (12,4) 1 Quinn CH Callastaff Five Years At Bowferry JW D/Brindle, white, who was unsettled & played her handler at first once settled her quality became clear, she lovely balanced throughout and has a desirable length in radius and her height to weight balances well, feminine expression with nice ratios of skull to muzzle With strong cheeks, strong in underlaw with correct set mouth, neat ears & well placed dark eyes, upper arm & scapular correspond well with rear quarters on the move with drive while holding a level toplne, good shape to ribcage and underline cuts up tidy into a light in loin, close coupled, correct tail carriage, vertical hocks, worthy CH RBCC 2 Campbell Foyllsforsdal Bean Si Brindle/White with strong pigment and whos keen feminine expression was my favourite of the day, good shape dark eyes, well set ears, lovely shape to skull with a nice slope through stop and good length to occiput, nice amount of fill to foreface with a lovely length of muzzle which is tight in flesh, clean in lip covering a well set mouth with gleaming teeth, strong in underjaw,nice amount of substance to this girl, looking active & agile, well set fore quarters and true straight radius with enough width between, nice amount of rib, level topline, well muscled rear quarters and rear pads sit beneath point of pelvis, moved freely 3 Crawford & Wilson, Northstaff Bay Bomber At Crowstaff GSDSB (6,1) 1 Rowe & South, Illori Constellation JW 1st PGB 2 Squibb, Sikaistaff Coz I�m Happy D/Brindle, white with pleasing body proportions and sound in construction with good columns of support, nice in profile with clean flowing lines, very nice contour from neck through top of scapular into a level topline, well set pelvis and rear quarters, brisket balances to elbow, correct SBT headpiece and expression is feminine moved freely 3 Harris, Illori Camiyah Andy Land (Winzak)
