It was a honour to be invited back again. My first one was in 1990 when I was passed to award CCs for the first time. Thank you to my two able stewards, Frank & Alan who kept the ring running well. A thank you to the exhibitors for giving me the chance to go over their dogs & bitches & for the sporting way they accepted my decisions. I was very pleased with the quality of the dogs who came under me. I only found a couple of dogs with misplaced teeth. MPD (4,1a) 1 Wisniewski’s Ruadonis Little Lion Man, r/w dog 6 months old. Nice shaped head, defined stop, neat ears & good expression, scissor bite, dark round eye, ample brisket & rib for age, straight front, level topline, bent stifle, handled & moved well for a young puppy. Reminds me of a dog we had years ago Teddy (Pitmax The Prince of Skelstaff); 2 Jackson’s Roughnecks Justice For All, r/w 7 months old. Excellent head with round dark eye, defined stop, ample brisket for age, good topline, well padded feet, moved well; 3 Grant’s Ruadonis White Blank Page. PD (2) 1 Martinez’s Bullbrothers Dr Who, b/br dog 11 months old. Outstanding head, rose ears set well, dark round eye, ample underjaw, good front & feet, nice length of coupling, good bent stifle, pump handle tail, good rib for age. Moved & handled well. Pleased to award him BPD; 2 Summerfield’s Canakey Cool Funk, r/w pied dog, 11 months old. Good compacted body with good balance, nice head with neat ears, good cheek muscle, straight front & well off for rib, level topline, moved well. JD (5,1) 1 Vann, Martin & Elliot’s Loyalstaff Fly The Flag, brindle dog 14 months old. Strong headed with defined stop, well placed rose ears, round dark eye, good stop & underjaw, very clean front, good dentition, nice tight feet which was well padded. Handled & moved well; 2 Martinez’s Bullbrothers Fifth Element, dark brindle dog 11 months old. Neat head giving typical expression, good strength to muzzle, straight front, depth to brisket, ample bone, short neck, nice bend to stifle, good condition, moved well; 3 Clarke & Traver’s Briganah Black Chieftain. YD (4,2) 1 Southworth’s Albermarbull Gambler for Staffmaster, r/w 19 months old. Strong head shape set off with neat ears, good cheek bumps, tight clean lips, strong underjaw, nice tuck up, not overdone, moved & shown well; 2 Ryan’s Rubericla Black Starscream, b/br 22 months old. Compact dog with good balanced body, rose ears, round eye, strong neck on well placed shoulders, good expression, nice turn to stifle, moved well. ND (1) 1 Duncan’s Revelry Dress N’Decorum, nice shaped head with round dark eye, rose ears, scissor bite, well boned front. Ample rib, well bent stifle, moved well. PGD 1 William’s Jodel’s Fernando, r/w dog, head of correct proportion, good ear placement, round eye shape, deep through skull, correct bite, tight lips, good legs & feet, nice front, good quarters with bent stifle, correct tail carriage, moved & handled well; 2 McDonald’s Magical Apache, dark brindle dog. Has short blunt muzzle with correct bite, nice shaped head, strong underjaw, strong neck, well placed shoulders, close coupled, bent stifle, moved well; 3 Hall’s Georgiestaff Canny Laddie. LD (10,2) 1 Speed’s Speediestaff Black Velvet, dark br/w dog. Head of correct proportion, good ear placement, round eye shape, deep through skull. Scissor bite, good legs & well padded feet, good quarters, nice front, moved & handled well; 2 Stanway’s Waystaff What A Cracker, compact dog with good balanced body, rose ears, round eye, strong neck, good expression, nice bend of stifle. Moved well; 3 Bibby & Hirst’s Georgiestaff Dynamo Dexter. OD (8,1) 1 Dewer’s Euphemia Drummer Boy, b/br dog. Excellent head not overdone, showing broad skull, strong muzzle with correct bite with large teeth, well set rose ears, good expression, good cheek bumps, deep stop, good straight front with well boned front & legs, has a deep brisket, short back with nice tuck up, nice length of coupling, moved & showed well. Pleased to award him CC & BOB; 2 Hedges & Bogovcic’s Ch Suurisuun Boppingham Birulai, r/w pied dog, clean body outline, good expression, dark eye, short coupled body with well let down rearend, good bend of stifle, good tail carriage, moved & handled well. Pleased to award him RCC; 3 Stanway’s Waystaff Dutch Minister. VD (1) 1 Glassbrook & Rhodes’ Captain Ron, b/br dog 7½ years old, a credit to his breeder & owners for the condition of this dog for his age, coat wasshiny, good shaped head with rose ears, dark eye, good mouth, straight front, bent stifle, moved well. MPB (7,1) 1 Elrick’s Ruadonis Delilah’s Delight, r/w pied bitch 6 months old. Nice shaped head set of with rose ears, dark round eye, good stop, scissor bite, ample bone & rib for age, straight front, level topline, moved well, very close between 1 & 2, this just a little more mature, could change places any day; 2 Speed’s Speediestaff Witches Brew, brindle bitch 8 months old. Feminine head set off with rose ears, defined stop, scissor bite, nice front, ample bone & rib, dark round eye, bent stifle, moved well; 3 Anderson’s Valdestaff Hot Love. PB (9,1) 1 Jackson’s Jeffmor Straight As A Die, b/br 9½ month old bitch. Compact body, typical head shape, nice tidy ears, clean bite, good front, well padded feet, level topline, bent stifle, moved & handled well. Please to award her BPB & BP; 2 William’s Canakey Sweet Cool Delight, r/w pied 11 month old bitch. Nice shaped head which was feminine with short foreface, dark eye, neat rose ears, deep stop, strong muzzle, nice front, moved well; 3 Martinez’s Bullbrothers Euphoria. JB (8,1) 1 Nicholson & Finney’s Ballindona Coal Ila, dark brindle 13 month old bitch. Strong headed with short muzzle, defined stop, neat ears, straight front with well boned legs, deep brisket, barrel ribs, tuck up at loins, good level topline, bent stifle, moved well; 2 Day & Simpson’s Briganah Black Caviar, b/br bitch 14 months old. Feminine head set off with neat ears, round dark eye with good stop, straight front. Ample bone on legs, good spring of rib, loins tuck up, bend stifle, moved well; 3 Stanway’s Mosstrooper Making Mischief at Waystaff. YB (9,2) 1 Butler’s Seenworstaff Storm Warning at Joemikeste, r/w 22 months old bitch. Compacted bodied bitch with feminine head set off with rose shaped ears & dark eye, barrel rib, bent stifle, moved & handled well; 2 Ryan’s Rubericla Little Bumblebee, gleaming coat on good shaped body, nice shaped head with round eye & scissor bite, good front & ribs, bent stifle. Moved well; 3 Dixon’s Ashstock Wanderin Star. NB (5) 1 B Caol Ila; 2 McDonald’s Tagstane Who Says, b/br bitch. Nice blend of bull & terrier, round eye, strong muzzle, correct mouth, nice shoulders & front, good ribs, bent stifle, short coupling, moved well; 3 William’s Canakey Sweet Cool Delight. PGB (5,1) 1 Pinder’s Albermarbull Moulin Rouge at Dusklight, r/w Standard size bitch with head that was feminine set off with rose ears, defined stop, scissor bite, nice front with ample brisket, moved well; 2 Ritchie’s Blazinstaff Reflection at Northsaltire, r/w bitch. Strong head with good shape, nice blend of bull & terrier, strong muzzle, correct bite, nice front, good rib, bent stifle, moved well; 3 Bell’s Cannichbull Sweet Surender. LB (14,2) 1 Stokes’ Oxstoke Cherry Blossom, r/w pied bitch. Compact body with typical head shape, neat tidy ears, clean bite, well boned front which was straight, level topline, standing foursquare, moved well. Pleased to award her RCC; 2 Quinn’s Bowferry Life On Mars, dark br/w bitch. Another good bitch in good condition, nice shaped body. Good head, neat rose ears, dark round eye, short neck, good bite, well bent stifle, correct tail carriage, moved well; 3 Matthews & Patrick’s Howfenstaff Paddys Girl at Paljaz. OB (8) 1 Trow’s Brizeacks Believe, r/w bitch. Strong headed bitch with strong muzzle, defined stop, dark round eye, good stop, scissor bite, straight front with well boned legs, powerful backend, topline was level even on the move, spring of rib, loins, tuck up, bent stifle, moved well. Pleased to award her CC; 2 Simpson’s Ch Briganah Breaking Dawn, b/br bitch. Good head shape set off with rose ears, dark round eye, good stop, scissor bite, straight front with well boned legs, good spring of rib, nice tuck up, bent stifle, moved well; 3 Hirst & Bibby’s Ch Taraiel Ciara. VB (2) 1 Cairn’s Dinalghi Touch Of Class, dark brindle 8½ years old bitch. In very good condition & a credit to her breeder/owners. Feminine head set off with deep stop, rose ears, round eye, good underjaw, well bent stifle, moved well; 2 Hirst & Bibby’s Ch Taraiel Trinity, 8 year old bitch. Most of comments for first apply. 1 Wisniewski’s Ruadonis Little Lion Man, r/w dog 6 months old. Nice shaped head, defined stop, neat ears & good expression, scissor bite, dark round eye, ample brisket & rib for age, straight front, level topline, bent stifle, handled & moved well for a young puppy.
