STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE RICHMOND 21

May I firstly thank the Officers and Committee Members of the Richmond Dog Show Society for giving me my first chance of awarding Challenge Certificates. I would also kindly like to thank all those that entered under me, I can truly say I honoured and humbled by my great entry. I am not a man that has pushed myself to award CC’s and get judging appointments but I thoroughly enjoyed my day of going over some cracking specimens of the breed. There are a few stalwarts of the breed that I have the pleasure of knowing and that have helped me through the years, a few who are still here with us and a few who that have sadly passed. I would like to thank these for helping me gain great knowledge of this tremendous breed. It is a shame that some of the new Stafford enthusiasts won’t get to sit around a table talking dogs and great stories of the breed with some of these great old timers.

MPD (2)

1 Hands & Wyatt’s Skyestaff Winter Soldier. For a nearly 9 month old dog he has a beautiful strong head with a lovely expression, deep stop with nice neat ears and dark round eyes. He is well boned for his age, has a compact body with a level topline. Moved and handled well.

2 Aldridge’s Black Moonbeam Bridge. Bl/br male was a nice dog all round, head not as clean as first, good front, moved well. He carried his tail high on the move but only a baby so tail carriage could be excitement.
