I would like to thank the officers and committee of richmond championship dog show for the invitation to judge at this very prestigious and well organized dog show and also to my two very able ring stewards who made sure that proceedings ran very smoothly, secondly i thank the exhibitors who took my decsions very sportingly.

Vet D (1)

1 Marachowska & Marachowski's Ch Kalhols Black Magic At Passernomen. Black/Brindle a dog whom I gave him is Third CC and made him a champion. 10½ years old, still retains many of his virtues from 7 year ago. He is still in excellent condition and very fit condition for his age. Head is a good blend of bull and terrier, neatest of ears, dark well placed round eyes, well defined stop a clean true straight well boned front, still retains a good depth in brisket and well sprung ribs, level top line when moving ample hind angulations with well let down hocks moved and handled to perfection a pleasure to be able to have the chance to go over him again. He is certain a credit to you.

1 Smart's Tnt Edition Renegade. A very promising red and white, 6½ month old youngster. A very pleasing head shape with a lovely expression, everything progressing nicely for age. Distinctive stop, neat rose ears correct dentition, straight front with ample bone, well ribbed for age strong quarters with a nice bend of stifle, still much maturing to do but everything at this stage of maturity is looking good for the future. This minor puppy certainly seemed to enjoy his day out. Handled to advantage as expected. (Best Puppy in Breed)

2 Blanch Calonge's Stormfire Sex Simbol. White with Black markings, good head shape dark round eyes and neat rose ears. Shoulders well laid back giving a sound front movement, well boned straight front and tidy well padded feet, level top line. Hind quarters O.K. for age, nicely balanced sound moving dog. Moved very well a close decision.

1 Rhodes & Pritchard's Taraiel Reaper at Teracota. 11½ months of age, brindle with white markings, maturing very nicely for age not over done in any department, he as a strong skull correct bite and a well shaped dark round eye and the neatest of ears. Straight well boned front with neat well padded feet. Short back level top line both standing also on the move, Strong enough in rear quarters for age, good bend of stifle. Neat thin pump handle tail well set carried correctly when on the move. In all a well balanced dog in good condition, moved and handled very well.

2 Hirst & Bibby's Taraiel Soulja Boy. Litter brother to winner Black/Brindle similar in many ways to winner a close decision, this puppy has everything in the right place has a puppy should have for his age. Good head shape, dark well placed eyes, clean mouth with correct dentition complimented by lovely rose ears. Sound neck and shoulders well boned straight front, clean level top line both standing also on the move. Good angulation's in hind quarters moved and handled very well.

3 Thomas's Sunnystone Limited Edition

1 Desmond's Ch Elitebulls Challenger Black/Brindle 17½ month old of superb quality have seen him from the ring side, but to put your hands on him is another thing. This dog ooze's quality from head to tail. He is bang on the standard and so well balanced, superb head shape that is clean and so well defined throughout, skull to muzzle ratio is correct. Well placed dark round eyes neat rose ears which are used to advantage. He as a superb expression. Strong underjaw and correct dentition, true straight well boned front with tight well padded feet and good pigmentation. Ample depth of brisket, short in body with a rounded rib cage set off with a defined waistline. Hind quarters are well angulated providing him with drive when moving both ways. Holding a level top line and well muscled thighs and a good bend in stifle. Presented in first class condition and his handler knows how to get the best out of him (DCC and Best of Breed)

2 Blanch Calonge's Stormfire Lebron James. Red and White just into junior 12½ months old giving a lot away to winner on maturity. Pleasing head shape correct ratio skull to muzzle. Round well placed dark round eye, neat rose ears and a correct bite, straight well boned front displaying width and correct depth of brisket. Well bodied dog with a good top line, powerful correctly angulated hind quarters which resulted in good movement with drive, well balanced and handled to advantage.

3 Windsor Smith's Magicgem Colossus At Remstaff

1 Johnson's Tillcarr Fire Coanda. Black/Brindle white chest caught my eye as he entered the ring, just 14½ months old a nice dog in type and style, his head is particularly pleasing with a good skull to muzzle ratio, good dark round eyes which are very expressive, good ear carriage correct dentition. Cheek muscles are developing nicely for age, straightest of fronts with well boned legs and neat tight feet, short in body with a rounded rib cage set off with defined waistline. Hindquarters are well angulated which provides him with drive, level top line and correct tail carriage, handled very well. Res CC.

2 Stanway's Waystaff Strike Force. Red/White chest nearly 2 years old. Lovely headed dog with a keen expression, dark round eye, neat ears and a clean scissor bite, ample bone to forelegs with tidy feet. Excellent spring of rib and culminating a shapely rear quarters. Good level top line well muscled thighs and a good bend in stifle, shown in excellent condition, moved and handled very well.

3 Bunning and Frost's Dazmarnic All White Mate

1 Hopkins' Trufflestaff Papinashuash JW. Standard Black/Brindle dog with a good blend of bull and terrier, lovely head well set ears creating a superb expression, dark round eye, correct dentition. A sound well boned front with neat well padded feet, ample depth of brisket. Well placed shoulders leading into a level top line, well shaped quarters, drives well from rear end, very soundly constructed, correct tail set and carriage moved and presented very well.

2 Slattery's Dazmarnic Up For Trouble, Red and white standard dog not as fit as the winner good shaped dog very well balanced, well shaped head, tight lips and ample underjaw, correct ratio skull to muzzle, dark eyes and good ear placement. Straight front and good shoulders nice reach of neck leading on to a good body, level top line when moving well tucked up with good hind quarters. Moved and handled well. 1 Rees's Edgeworth Arturo. Black/Brindle white chest, put down in excellent condition, admirable head shape, well shaped dark round eye giving him a riveting expression, neat rose ears, correct dentition ample underjaw and good breadth of muzzle. Straight well boned front with strong pasterns and good padded feet with fine pigmentation. Short in back and coupling, well tucked up in loins, strong well angulated hindquarters with a well defined waist, correct tail set carried correctly when moving overall. A well balanced dog in fit condition a credit to owner.

2 Rogers, & Slack's Berrystock Hawker Tempest. Black/Brindle very similar dog to winner in many ways, this was a close decision. Super head broad skull neat rose ears round dark well placed eyes. Good dentition powerful underjaw and ample breadth of muzzle. Very clean front with tight well padded feet, strong powerful neck flowing into well placed shoulders. Good spring in rib, excellent tuck up and powerful hindquarters, ample bend of stifle moved and handled very well as with the first he was a pleasure to go over.

3 Jordan's Daznarnic Know Wot I Mean JW

1 Breckell's Ch Chiswelstaff Lets Dance JW. Black/Brindle a very fit dog, bang on the standard, strong but balanced head with a beautiful expression. A correct skull to muzzle ratio good cheek bumps and strong underjaw. Dark eyes, neat ears and a correct bite, front is straight and true with small neat well padded feet, he is tucked up well into loins he as well angulated hind quarters, a good muscle tone shown to advantage moved and handled very well

2 Lewis' Ch Biggleswick Splash Of Ginge. A standard very fit red dog with a white chest with a pleasing head shape that is clean and so well defined, skull to muzzle is correct ratio, dark round well placed eye, neatest of rose ears used to advantage in all giving him a super expression. He as clean tight lips, strong underjaw with big interlocking canines, straight well boned front with well padded feet and good pigmentation, ample depth of brisket very short coupled with a level top line when on the move. Good strong angulation's in hind quarters with a well placed tail set. Moved with purpose and drive, handled well at all times.

3 STANWAY's Aus Ch Mosstrooper Kentucky Moon (Imp)

1 Bibby's Ch Taraiel Ciara JW Sh,CM. I judged this bitch way back in 2013 at East of England she still retains many of her attributes, just showing a few grey hairs. I will reiterate my critique I gave then very compact, well balanced a very good head shape with correct shape muzzle to skull, distinct stop very clean lips strong underjaw and right amount of breadth of muzzle, darkest of eyes complemented with neat rose ears which she uses to advantage to give a lovely expression. Well boned true front with well padded feet black pigmentation, strong pastern's well muscled compact body deep in brisket carrying a level top line when moving in superb fit condition, moved and handled very well a credit to her owners.

1 Mitchell and Ashton's Blooming Lovely. Well balanced Black/Brindle bitch with a well shaped head, correct ear carriage, clean tight lipped and a good depth of underjaw with correct scissor bite, straight well boned front with good feet which are well padded, well laid back shoulders and ample depth of brisket, level top line when on the move strong hindquarters with well angulated stifles. In good condition moved and handled very well.

2 Templeton's Janastaff Freya At Marudi. Black/Brindle with white chest giving age away to winner just 10½ months old, very standard compact stood four square well shaped head, with dark round eye, good ear place and a correct bite, ample depth in underjaw straight well boned front with neat feet and good pigmentation, sound level top line, short in back and coupling, ample angulation's in hindquarters, good tail set carried correctly when on the move, handled very well.

1 Heron's Dillrystaff Mystic Star. Mahogany/Brindle nearly nine months of age with a lovely head shape well spaced dark round eyes, correct bite, ears O.K. A distinct stop with ample underjaw and breadth of muzzle, well boned forelegs and neat feet with good pigmentation well angulated in hind quarters and sound in movement. good tail set carried correctly when on the move handled very well.

2 Yates' Ellchansa Happy Ever After. Black/Brindle maturing nicely along the right lines, nice head shape, correct dentition and bite, dark well placed eye and neat rose ears good square front ample bone and tidy feet. Ample rib for age, good level top line, hindquarters developing O.K. for age, neat tall set carried correctly handled very well.

PB (4)

1 Funnell Powerpack Alura Finvarra. Black/Brindle 10½ months old. A nicely balanced puppy, lovely expression neat ears, correct dentition and a correct shaped dark eye, good ratio of muzzle to head length. Excellent fore quarters with neat well padded feet, short neck and good shoulder placement, short in body length with a well sprung rib cage. Hindquarters providing a good action when moving, correct angulation's in hind quarters, moved freely and responded to her handler.

2 Martinez's Stormfire Princess Fire And Ice (Imp). Just over 10 months old very standard compact stood four square, a well shaped head nice dark eye and a first class ear carriage. Correct dentition with interlocking canines. This youngster as an excellent well boned front with tidy feet. Top line O.K. when moving, hindquarters developing nicely for age, tail set carried correctly when on the move. Moved and presented very well.

3 Hopkins' Windstaff Blackberry At Trufflestaff

1 Johnson's Tillcarr Baptism Of Fire. Black/Brindle/White just 14½ months old litter sister to my R.C.C. dog winner in my opinion just as good, caught my eye as she entered the ring, a superb bitch and deserved 1st place. A stunning head with a well defined stop, ample underjaw, tight lips no looseness or fleshiness around the flews, correct dark round eye and good placement, lovely large white teeth excellent neck resting on well laid shoulders, well boned straight front complimented with well padded tight feet with good pigmentation, with a good depth of brisket, rib cage developing nicely for age, short coupled level top line maintained when on the move. Well muscled in the hindquarters which are well angulated. Moved well in both directions. (Bitch R.C.C.)

2 Anchor,'s Lonemoor Inion Reaita. 15½ months old excellent make and shape well defined feminine head with strength throughout, lovely head shape not over done in any way. Correct dentition with cheek muscles helping the head shape, dark round eyes and well set ears carried correctly. A smart and compact bitch with sound forequarters, a nice width of chest with well boned legs and good padded feet, good hind angulation's ample bend in stifle covered the ground well maintaining a good top line a lot to like about her, in good coat condition. Moved and handle very well.

3 Davis and Davis' Sharmara Amazing Grace

1 Lee and Coleman'sBerrystock Enigma Black. 20 months old Black/Brindle a lovely headed bitch strong deep stop with ample underjaw and good breadth to muzzle, mouth correct good ear carriage and a correct placed dark round eye giving a keen expression at all times. Front is developing well with well boned forelegs and neat well padded feet, a good depth of brisket lovely short coupled body with plenty of rib. Level top line when moving, strong hindquarters with good bend of stifle, moved with drive and purpose when on the move. Moved and handled very well.

2 Mitchell & Ashton's Blooming Lovely

1 Rogers' Berrystock Miss Spitfire. A cracking bitch Black/Brindle in top condition a lovely femine head without forfeiting any strength, a well defined head with the neatest of rose ears, her eyes round and dark. A good bite with nice white teeth, a very good underjaw with ample width of muzzle with no lippy ness around flews. Straight well boned forelegs with tidy well padded feet, sufficient amount of brisket and ample rib. Held a good top line when on the move, strong and well angulated hindquarters, correct tail set carried correctly when moving, handler and dog work well together.

2 Mcdermott & Bernhadsson's Kings & Queens Over The Moon JW (Imp). Black/Brindle who is bang in the standard, she as a well proportioned head with dark round eyes, she as neat rose ears worked to advantage and a keen expression, correct dentition and ratio skull to muzzle is spot on. As good depth in underjaw and no looseness in lip. Powerful neck into a level top line good ample parallel bone in forelegs, neat feet with correct pigmentation, well sprung ribs ample strength in hindquarters, neat well set tail carried correctly when moving, close decision between first and second place, fitness was the key factor.

1 Simpson's Briganah Body And Soul. Black/Brindle of outstanding quality, this bitch is so well balanced throughout she as a very good head shape neatest of ears worked to advantage, dark round well placed eye and correct dentition. Parallel well boned straight forelegs up on pasterns with tidy feet which are well pigmented, she as ample depth of brisket well ribbed up with a nice tuck up in loins, level top line, short coupled and solid well angulated hindquarters, good tail set carried correctly when on the move. Moved and handled well

2 Mann's Nerotoro Cosmic Girl JW. Black/Brindle very feminine head in correct proportions, well placed neat ears, round dark eye and a clean bite, skull to muzzle is well proportioned, good underjaw ample breadth to muzzle and no lippy ness. True front with good bone and well padded feet, deep in brisket adequate rib short coupled level top line when moving, nice tuck to hind quarters, ample bend in stifle, muscular well angulated hindquarters moved and handled very well.

3 Jones' Li'l Miss Velvet At Kamaristaff

1 Stanway's Stormfire Crack The Code At Waystaff (Imp). Red & White it is not until you go over her that you realise what a quality bitch she is, she absolutely oozes quality. A very feminine head in correct proportion giving a keen expression, clean tight lips with ample underjaw and good breadth of muzzle and depth of underjaw , very dark well placed eyes, correct dentition with large interlocking canines, neatest of ears worked to advantage. Lovely clean well boned front well up on pasterns with good feet, strong deep in brisket, ample ribcage, nicely tucking up when moving, she carries a good top line, powerful rear quarters, nice hind angulations, correct tail set carried correctly when on the move. Move purposefully and handled very well. (Bitch C.C.)

2 Jackson's Jackabyte Miss Moneypenny JW. Black/Brindle excellent bitch shown in very good condition and fitness, she as a classic headpiece with dark round well placed eyes which gives a nice expression, neat ears which she works to advantage, correct scissor bite, ample length and breadth of muzzle with a fine underjaw, well boned parallel front with strong pasterns and neat well padded feet with correct pigmentation, good depth in brisket and well sprung ribs, well laid back shoulders short strong level back powerful hindquarters finished off with a neat well set tail carriage. Moved with drive and handled with confidence.
