Thanks to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge SBTs and for their hospitality. I have a couple of concerns for the breed, a few inverted canines, poor tail sets and carriage, no where in the standard do we have any mention of a cat so why are we now experiencing straight pasterns and cat like feet, which is totally wrong for the breed, on the positive side, I thought toplines were much better, coats and skins were much much better than the last time I judged the breed, many thanks to all the exhibitors for the excellent entry, and the sporting way my decisions were received ringside.
Minor Puppy Dog
1st Askers Dazmarnic Cetewayos Kraal red and white dog, lovely size, good head shape, nice round eye, good underjaw, neat ears, powerful neck, good width of chest, well ribbed up for age, good quarters, would just like a better tail carriage, moved soundly. Best Puppy In Breed
2nd Winwood & Tunnah Nerotoro Dark Element B/B dog, O.K. in head, good shape, big black nose, good eyes, correct bite, good outline, looked well in profile, preferred the bone of 1st.
3rd Mayren's Bellarouge Adonis At The Fergiestaffs.

1st McClelland's Rochlawie Behold the Hour B/B dog, with a very nice head shape, very good eye and ear set, correct mouth, good neck, ok in shoulder, well sprung rib for age, nice bone, would like a better pastern and feet, feet are too cat like moved ok.
2nd Jeffrey's Laracali Don't stop me Now at Crestock B/B dog, bigger dog than 1 decent head, good underjaw, correct bite, powerful hind quarters, good legs and feet, needs some ring training moved ok

1st Finney's Ballindona Crafty Copper At Sangulliano Brindle dog, topsize dog, powerful headpiece, good round eye, well placed, very neat ears, big strong white teeth, good width of chest, very good body, short in loin, strong quarters, well carried tail, moved ok.
2nd Waltham Dringshaw Marquez Fawn dog, very good eye and expression, nice body and topline, needs to tighten in front, moved ok.

1st Hedges & McBride Brohoz Rubin Hurricane (A1) (IMP AUS) B/B dog, good head shape, ok in ear, dark eye, strong muzzle with a good underjaw, good width of chest, would like a better layback of shoulder, and a little more thickness to the neck, nice body condition, nice topline and rear quarters, correctly carried tail. moved freely and handled and presented very well.
2nd Coble's Surestaff Wellington B/B dog, of very good type powerful head, excellent foreface and underjaw, very good front, good topline, well made quarters, great legs and feet, very sluggish on the move, would like him with more spark and animation, in beautiful condition.
3rd Hirst & Bibby's Taraiel Busta Rhymes JW.

1st Heron's Manark Fast and Furious Brindle dog, well balanced dog in tiptop condition, powerful head, and muzzle, very good underjaw, very clean in lip, has a good round eye of nice size could be darker, but, is ok in relation to coat colour, powerful neck, good width of chest, excellent topline and underline, moved soundly, pushed hard for Rcc.
2nd Downes Waystaff Double Trouble Red Dog, nice head shape, good eye set, good width of muzzle, big strong teeth, nice body and in lovely coat, moved ok made very hard work for the handler.

1st Payton's Tonpay Barmy Army JW B/B dog, powerful head, good dark eye, well set, neat ears, super underjaw, big white teeth, good width of chest, powerful neck good topline, well ribbed up, well muscled quarters, excellent bone and good feet, moved well to win this class
2nd Thomas's Cazomic Crime Fighter Red Dog, well balanced, very nice type, good head piece, very neat ears, powerful muzzle, making an excellent expression, super front, excellent level topline, strong well muscled quarters, well let down hocks, excellent tail carriage, wonderful coat and skin, would like to see this dog in a year when he is fully mature, moved and handled well.

1st Houghton's Belterstaffs Ginger Joe, Red Fawn Dog, A well balanced dog with an excellent head shape, super expression, powerful neck, super front, good ribs well covered, excellent topline, and underline, strong well made quarters, well let down hock, on his toes showing all the time, little proud of his tail, in super form, moved very sound and true, and with an excellent profile, handler worked hard with the dog to win this class and the Dog CC.
2nd Southern's Waystaff Ministry of Excellence Red and White Pied Dog, Well balanced dog, nice head, excellent ears, very good expression for a white headed dog, good front, well muscled neck excellent topline, good depth of body, excellent quarters, correct tail carriage, handled and presented very well, very good mover held his shape well on the move pushed CC winner hard RCC today.
3rd Dickinson & Asberg's SW CH Kronsaters Lycktraff.

1st Winwood & Tunnah Nerotoro Stella, B/B lovely shaped head, very neat ears, giving a good expression, nice topline, well boned legs and feet, needs to strengthen in the rear on the move.
2nd Robinson's Studstaff Sugar and Spice of Hamason, Red/white, beautiful head shape, nice front, good feet excellent body condition, well made quarters excellent tail carriage, would like coat to be finer, moved and handled well.

2nd Andrew's Jayalix Rule Britannia Fawn/white, very pretty youngster, lovely shaped head, excellent outline, in beautiful condition, moved well, preferred the bone of 1st.

2nd Harrison & Roper's Trawden Ice and Spice Red/white Pied, super head, beautiful eye, excellent muzzle and underjaw, good ears, great expression, good spring of rib, well conditioned, well muscled quarters moved well in rear, would like more positive front movement & preferred the front movement of 1, a quality bitch.

2nd Thomas's Pridesdale Special Edition Red very nice type full of quality, good head shape excellent ears, nice front, beautiful body condition, moved well, surprised to find this much quality in post graduate.
