STAFFORDSHIRE BULL MANCHESTER 11 Dogs-Judge: Mr E Galvin BEST OF BREED : 1658 DEWAR Mrs M Ch Mintmar Just The Man JW STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE MANCHESTER 11 STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Officers and committee for the wonderful invitation to judge at the Northern Classic and the hospitality shown to Dave and I. I also extend my sincere thanks to the exhibitors for the fabulous entry that awaited me, and to give an opinion on your stock. It was a pleasure to judge so many quality Staffords, I thoroughly enjoyed the day which will remain in my thoughts for many years to come. I also send my thanks to my Stewards who made the task of running the proceedings seem very effortlessly, many thanks. With the New Year starting off well, I hope entries at shows will continue to increase. MPB (21,3) 1 Karlsson's Jewelstaff Ascari. B/B/W very attractive puppy will better with maturing, possessing nice head shape, dark eye, correct mouth, good front, short coupled, strong pasterns, level topline. Moved and handled well. 2 Stewart & Dickenson's Devils Angel. B/B another nice puppy possessing many of the virtues of winner, would have preferred to see her a little firmer in the body but this will come with maturity. 3 Johnston & Brown's Revelry on Parade. PB (16) 1 Summerfield's Canakey Sweet Pea. Fawn. A absolute star in the making, sure she will have a very bright future, beautiful head, dark eyes, good stop and expression, correct mouth, straight front, good rib for one so young, defined waistline, strength in hindquarters. Movement excellent handled to perfection. For me the star I just could not deny her the C.C just because being a puppy One I could have taken home. C.C. 2 Turner's Tidestaff Mystical Magic B/B. lovely pup has time to mature, liked her head shape dark eye, good bite, nice front very neat youngster, moved and handled well. 3 Williams' Bellajazz Annalisa. JB(13,1) 1 McClements' Miss Cherie At Jodanzac. Beautiful upstanding brindle stood out excellent clean head with dark eyes, good ear carriage strong white teeth with good bite, straight front with good depth of brisket, with defined waistline and strong hindquarters, movement very good both ways, very good show girl in excellent condition R.C.C. 2 Frankland's Aldwych Tiger Lily. Beautiful gleaming B/B in excellent condition carries all the virtues of the winner, very difficult decision between 1 & 2 sure she will gain her title credit to her owner. 3 Cordwell's Waystaff Dutch Show Girl. YB (8,2) 1 Bowdrey's Zakstaff Miss O'Reilly at Southstar. B/B with lovely shaped head, dark eyes, correct mouth clean lipped, good front, short coupled, level topline standing and on the move, standard and well balanced bitch, movement good, credit to her owner. 2 Smith's Willowstaff Keep The Faith. Athletic B/B in very good condition good head, dark eyes, correct mouth, good reach of neck, straight front, level topline strong hindquarters. Moved well. 3 McGrath's Jaica's Sweet Dream JW. PGB(8) 1 Bowler's Bethane Modjadji at Trelynbow. Standard B/B possessing strong feminine head, dark eyes typical expression, good mouth, good hindquartets moved well, handled and shown to her advantage in fit condition, well done. 2 Hopkins' Trufflestaff Hasina Bahiti. B/B with white markings another well balanced girl and finished in good condition all the virtues of the winner splitting hairs. 3 Gregory's Willowstaff Shades of Red. LB (20,2) 1 Funnell's Kewaunee Pocahontas for Powerpack J.W. as her name implies, Powerful a athlectic B/B without any exaggerations and another that fits the standard well. Clean outline carries all the virtues one is required. Good movement and handled well. In excellent condition, credit to her owner. 2 Dewar's Mintmar One for One. Excellent conditioned B/B that fits the breed standard in every way, with good movement and handled very well credit to owner and breeder, very tough close call between 1 & 2, sure she'll have a good future. 3 Walker's Tiptoe Red Lady at Janikastco. OB (12,4) 1 Ch Zakstaff Black Velvet JW. Stunning B/B beautiful head shape dark eye, neat ears, correct mouth, good front, well padded feet, well ribbed defined waistline, strong hindquarters neat whip tail. Movement good handled well. Strong contender. Liked her as a pup and Like her now she has matured into a excellent specimen of the breed and very worthy Champion. 2 Hopkins Ch Trufflestaff Monifa Kanika JW. B/B another very worthy Champion excellent balanced throughout carries all the virtues of winner credit to the breed. 3 John's Jayneze Ditto for Welshstaff. VB(3) 1 Norton's Tikkurilan Ticka Teboo, B/B one of the golden girls of the breed still very much up on her toes, has still the hallmarks of the excellent Champion she is, and still enjoys the limelight. Credit to the breed and credit to her owner for keeping her in such good condition. 2 Robbins' Princessa Natala Kaji R/F a princess that has matured into a Queen in her golden years, carries her age well another that still loves the limelight credit to her owner breeder and the Breed. 3 Funnel's Knockon Minerva of Powerpack.
