STAFFORDSHIRE BULL LEEDS 15 Judge: Mr John Scanlan BEST OF BREED : 7747 DICKENSON, Mr S & ASBERG Mrs R Ch Kronsaters Lycktraff (Imp) STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE LEEDS 15 Staffordshire Bull Terriers What a pleasure to be invited to judge dogs & bitches at Leeds Ch Show. I would like to thank the officers & committee, also a big thank you to the exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to judge such a wonderful entry. MPD 1 Howard’s Pendlestaff Fire Cracker, well grown pup, nice head, good stop, straight front, beautiful coat condition, moved as a puppy should, still very raw. PD (7) 1 Finney’s Ballindona Crafty Copper at Sanguliano, brindle, well developed pup, looking as he should at this age, strong balanced head, correct eye with neat well placed ear, well off for bone, beautiful coat, level topline with correct tailset, moved with confidence. BP; 2 Janssen’s Earthquake Staffs Buffalo Soldier, white, well constructed youngster, pleasing head of good shape, darkest of eye & neat ear, round bone, well up on his pasterns, ample rib, moved so well; 3 Rowe’s Illori Akinlana. JD (8,1a) 1 Thomas’ Cazomic Crime Fighter, up to size red, best of heads, keen expression with black mask & dark eye, well placed ear, straight front on the best of feet, nice depth of brisket, strong neck with correct shoulder placement, good rib, well developed rearquarters, correct tailset, moved true both ways holding a level topline. RCC, a certain champion; 2 Chaine’s Jazz De Power Breton, red, another sound youngster showing plenty of promise, clean lip, good length of neck, straight front, best of feet, well ribbed, tight feet, good bend of stifle, sound on the move; 3 Hirst’s Busta Rhymes. YD (9,l) 1 Hugonet & Kolsek’s I Hate My Name Des Espoirs De Wallieux, well presented brindle, nice for size, balanced head, thin rose ear, good stop, correct shoulder placement, good drop of brisket, short coupled body, which gave him a pleasing outline, just enough muscle to rear, moved well; 2 Butler’s Ramblestaff Cos I Could, quality head on this brindle dog, keen expression, correct front, tight shining coat, so well constructed with a pleasing outline, would not settle on the move which was a shame; 3 Marchasson Estelle’s Cassius Clay Great’n Glory. PGD (21,4) 1 Membury’s Mitzstaff Crazy Cuz, so impressed with this standard size bitch, super head shape, correct length & width of muzzle, sound front, best of feet, well sprung rib, tight coat, nice tuck to loin, well muscled hindquarters, shown in excellent condition, moved freely; 2 I Y; 3 Martinez’s Bull Brothers Dr Who. LD (21,2) 1 Magee’s Bultery Action Replay, very fit brindle, coat like glass, balanced head, nothing overdone, correct front with well padded feet, enough rib, elbows nice & tight, hard body condition, good tuck to loin, so well developed rear with correct tailset, level topline stacked & on the move; 2 Grove’s Manark Murphy’s Law, well constructed db, lovely head shape, neatest of ear, straight front, short back, well developed quarters, sound on the move; 3 Houghton’s Belterstaffs Ginger Joe. OD (19,3) 1 Dickenson’s Ch Kronsaters Lycktraff, white with red eye patches, this dog is so well balanced of correct size, the best of pigment, clean lip, head of correct shape, dark eye, sound front of good width, nice depth of brisket, well muscled neck with correct shoulder placement, ample rib with good cut to loin, well constructed rear, which allowed him to move with drive, enough bend of stifle with correct tailset, no hesitation in awarding this dog CC, BOB, pleased to see him shortlisted in the group; 2 Houwaart’s Lux Ch Jecanibo’s Ki-adi-Mundi, dark brindle, head of good proportion, neat well set ear, correct eye shape, straight front, good bone, short back, which was held on the move, correct tailset, shown in super condition, another that moved so well front & rear; 3 Vidon’s Harlequin White Knight De La Vauyoise. VD (3,1) 1 S Captain Ron, bitch, still looking so good with beautiful coat, excellent expression, nice head shape, body in good order, level topline, moved so well; 2 Thomson’s Bossin Motion at Siriustaff, bitch shown in lovely condition, shining tight coat, clean front, good outline, nice muscle to rear, lovely moving dog. MPB (10,1) 1 Mignano-Fricker & Fricker’s Calavey’s Gonna Be Magical, d/b, well grown, lovely head shape, thin well placed ear, correct length& width of muzzle, level topline, moved very well. BPB; 2 Mignano-Fricker & Fricker’s Calavey’s Magical Dream, m/b, feminine head with a dark eye, straight front, nice feet, bodying up nicely, moved OK; 3 Gregory’s Alport Rememberence. PB (10,1) 1 Ferguson’s Fergustaff Valkerie Queen, very attractive r/w, feminine head with a dark eye, tidy front, her body is coming along nicely, looks good in profile, good moving pup; 2 Arntzen’s Catstaffs Dont Care, beautiful expression d/b, with dark well placed eye, straight front with enough width, short coupled body with correct tailset, moved OK; 3 Dietrich’s Jzarkava Des Terre’s D’armor. JB (20,3) 1 Clarke’s Amystaff Magic Moments, d/b with a strong head, still feminine, dark eye, good width of muzzle, enough width of chest, best of feet, ample rib, good bend of stifle, moved well both ways; 2 Hirst & Bibby’s Tarqiel Lorde, different type from 1, very attractive b/w, nice blend of bull & terrier, keen expression, neat ear which she used so well, sound front, level topline with compact body shape, moved with confidence; 3 Thomson’s Star Olestaff Lady Bea with Siriustaff. YB (14,2) 1 Thomas & Thomas’ Pridesdale Speacial Edition, liked her size red, & so well balanced, clean feminine head, well placed ears, good stop, straight front, well placed shoulders, good length of back, moved with confidence, low tailset; 2 Canavan’s Boldstock Am I Bovered, black, touch stronger than 1, so well balanced with pleasing outline, head of good shape, clean front, good neck & shoulders, level topline which she held on the move; 3 Rehouma’s Just A Lady Blackbull Diamonds. PGB (13,2) 1 Marachowska’s The Evil Inside at Passernomen, lovely head, d/b, neat ear, balanced body with tight gleaming coat, well up onn her pasterns, good lay of shoulder, in super condition, carrying enough body weight, low tailset, plenty of drive from rear; 2 Vidon’s I Love You De La Vallxoise, black with pleasing expression, nice length of muzzle, straight front, ample rib, short coupled body, moved with drive & purpose; 3 Mourell-Larrang’s I Need Your Money Du Clan Molotor. LB (21,5) 1 Johnston & Brown’s Revelry Custom Made, d/b, beautiful head shape, strong but feminine, round dark eye, good depth of stop & length of muzzle, well boned front, good shoulder placement, level topline, well muscled rear, moved well; 2 Hopwood & Holt’s Boldstock Here I Am, well constructed black, good feminine head, nice reach of neck, correct front, correct ribcage, good length of back, nice tuck to loin, moved well; 3 Stanway’s Waystaff Lady Ambassador. OB (14,4) 1 Mason’s Ch Dare To Dream, d/b, lovely head, neat well set rose ear, dark eye, correct well boned front, tight feet, clean neck, nice lay of shoulder, short coupled with nice tuck to loin, excellent body shape, well muscled hindquarters, nice bend of stifle, correct tailset, shown in excellent condition, moved so well. CC; 2 Ryan’s Rubericla Little Bumbleee, another quality black, unlucky to meet 1 today, excellent size & type, well proportioned head, clean lip, good width to chest, straight round bone, on the best of feet, nice length of back with ample rib, tight coat, best of rearquarters, correct tailset, moved with drive, shown in excellent condition. RCC, must make up; 3 Hirst & Bibby’s Ch Tarqiel Ciara. VB (3) 1 Funnell’s Ch Kewaunee Pocahontas for Powerpack, beautiful bitch, presented so well, nice shaped head, clean front, short nails, well padded feet, excellent body shape, sound rearquarters, moved very well; 2 Lourens’ Kayleight, black, lovely head shape, well placed eye, still looking very fit with good body shape, moved very well; 3 Fox’s Jolihem Fearless Joe.
