Staffordshire Bull Terriers

I felt my CC & RCC winners were excellent examples of the breed, showing what a Staffordshire male/female should look like to the breed Standard. A blend of Bull & Terrier, smooth-coated, well balanced & of great strength for his/her size.

1 Robinson & Hedges’ Leger Son Of An Irishman, b/br, good head & expression, neat ears, correct bite, tight lip, round dark eye, good length of neck, nicely boned for age, good front, good spring of rib, level topline, correct tailset, good bend of stifle, moved very well for youngster, good condition for age, all the best in future with him. BP;

2 Booth & Grimwood’s Flashback Romeo with Ramblestaff, r/w. Not as strong in head as 1. Correct bite, good ears, round dark eye, good neck, good front, well boned, nice spring of rib, level topline, good bend of stifle, neat tail, moved & handled well;

3 Leyland & Simpson’s Briganah Black Knight.

2 Nicholson’s Valglo Diplomat at Ballindona, b/br, good head & expression, correct bite, tight lipped, neat ears, round dark eyes. Good muzzle but not as strong as 1. Nice front & well boned, good spring of rib, level topline, good bend of stifle, correct tailset, nice condition with good coat, moved & handled well;

3 Chesters’ Ryestaff Jack The Lad.

1 Ogbourne’s Welshstaff Credit Crunch, b/br, excellent head & expression, correct bite, tight lipped, neat ears, round dark eyes, good muzzle, good strong neck, well placed shoulders, nice front & well boned, good spring of rib, level topline, good muscled backend, good bend of stifle, correct tailset, excellent condition with good tight coat, moved with drive & handled very well, had good look at him for RCC, unlucky today but sure time will come;

2 Galvin & Schofield’s Scousious Pretzel Logic, b/br, very close up. Just preferred 1 on size. Excellent head & expression, correct bite, tight lipped, neat ears, round dark eyes, good muzzle, strong neck, well placed shoulders, nice front & well boned, good spring of rib, level topline, good muscled backend, good bend of stifle, correct tailset, excellent hard condition with good tight coat, moved with drive & handled first class;

Showed herself off non-stop & stood out, sure will be winning a load more CCs. CC & BOB;

Cracking class to judge with a lot of very good bitches going cardless.

1 Simpson’s Briganah Black Orchid, b/br, sound Standard bitch, nicely balanced with good head & feminine expression, dark round eyes, correct bite, neat rose ears, good front & well placed shoulders, good bone, good spring of rib, level topline, good bend of stifle, neat tail, good hard condition, moved & handled first class. Pushed hard for top honours but had to give way to 2 youngsters who just showed their socks off;
