I would like to start by thanking the East of England Championship show for the invitation and to everyone that entered under me for my opinion. I had a great day, and it was lovely to see some great Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

MPD 4/4

1 Mayren, Fergiestaff Polar Bear. A well-balanced pied puppy that’s maturing really well, clean expressive head with good eye and ear placement, correct mouth, straight front with padded feet, and a close coupled body which is starting to show spring of rib. Moved well with a level topline, pleased to award him Best Puppy Dog.

2 Bennet, Powerpack Singularity. Nice outline to this pup but not as mature as the 1st place today. Correct head-to-muzzle ratio with a dark eye. Straight front with padded feet, bodying up nicely with a good topline, good bend of stifle and moved well for one so young.

1 Thomas, Bigglewick Mr Tom. A smart young dog that won this class on his overall balance, he’s pleasing to the eye from any angle he is viewed. Head that’s clean and expressive with dark eyes, a good ear and muzzle placement, tapered neck leading into a straight front that has good angulation, close coupled body that has a level topline and good undercarriage with depth and width, well-muscled rear assembly helping him move very soundly with a low tail set.

2 Sheldon, Kamararistaff Royal Ransom at Bowtman A strong-headed youngster that uses his ears to his advantage to enhance his expression, dark eye, correct mouth, straight front with padded feet, close coupled body with depth of brisket and spring of rib with tuck at loin. Well-muscled rear assembly enabling him to move well once he settled.

1 Thomas, Pridedale The Mean Machine At first glance, I could see this dog has great strength and substance and is balanced from any angel with foot placement that bears his profile perfectly. Stunning head that is clean and expressive with dark eyes and ears correctly placed, good length of muzzle that houses big teeth correctly placed, Straight front with desired lift, well-placed shoulders strong pasterns, and padded feet. Close coupled body showing a level topline and good undercarriage with depth of brisket, spring of rib, and tuck at loin leading into a rear assembly that is well muscled with bend of stifle and well let down hocks enabling him to move with unexaggerated powerful and effortless movement carrying a low set tail enhancing his overall profile. In really good condition with a short coat to complement his presentation. Pleased to award the CC and Best Opposite Sex

2 Butler, Alport On Tour At Eternalco Balanced dog of good substance with an expressive head and correct mouth, eyes, and ears. Straight front showing depth of brisket, spring of rib, level topline, and good undercarriage to close coupled body with a short coat. Front and rear assemblies that complement each other enabling him to move effortlessly, presented to his advantage.

1 Hinsley, Earthquake Staffs Wear It Well At Tigerbull A smart dog that’s balanced throughout and in fantastic condition, Head shape that has depth and width, and correct mouth, eyes, ears, and muzzle placed to give the desired expression. A tapered neck leading into well-placed shoulders, a straight front with good foot placement, a close coupled body with depth of brisket, spring of rib, level topline, and a well-muscled rear assembly that enabled him to move with powerful free-flowing effortless movement,

2 Yates, Zakdan Devious Devil Jw. Standard-size dog with clean expressive head, dark eyes, correct mouth, and well-placed shoulders leading into a straight front with padded feet. Close coupled body with depth, width, and level topline, good bend of stifle, and well let down hocks, found it hard to settle on the grass but I saw enough to see he moved soundly.

1 Blow, Scoutor Rouge One Jw Soundly built dog of substance with good balance, Head with depth and width, correct eye, ear, and mouth, a strong tapered neck leading to well-placed shoulders, and a straight front with a good foot position that gives him sound columns of support front and rear. Strong body showing width and depth with a level topline with an ideally placed tail, and a well-muscled rear assembly enabling him to move soundly which helped him win the class.

2 Saurez, Narkya Deadpool. Good head with eyes, and ears well placed. Correct mouth, well-placed shoulders, a body that has depth of brisket and spring of rib with tuck at loin, and a good well-muscled rear assembly which enabled him to move well once he settled.

1 Boggins & Burton, Luthais Loch Tay Jw. Really well-balanced dog of quality with a strong head, dark eyes, and ears placed well. Correct mouth with big teeth, tapered neck leading into a clean front with padded feet placed ideally. A close coupled body with depth of brisket, spring of rib, level topline, and a good undercarriage with a tuck at loin. Low tail set leading into a correct rear assembly that’s well-muscled. His movement was powerful and free flowing which overall won him a very strong class.

2 Arntzen, Catstaff Soul Rebel Another smart dog that has clean lines throughout, a keen expressive head with dark eyes and well-placed ears, a strong muzzle with correct dentition, a close coupled body with depth, width, and level topline with desired undercarriage, front and rear angulation that complements each other enabling him to move with powerful and free-flowing movement.

1 Arntzen & Manito, Ch Catstaffs Used To A worthy Champion of great strength for his size which is well balanced from all angles, a head that’s strong with good proportions with ears, eyes, and muzzle placed to enhance his expression, a strong tapered neck leading into a clean strong front with padded feet well placed. A close coupled body showing depth to brisket, spring of rib, level topline, and a good undercarriage and tuck at loin, a rear assembly that allowed him to move with powerful flowing movement. Pleased to award RCC.

2 Couzens & Coombes, Ch Niatona Arlo Coombes Another that fits the standard extremely well, Expressive head that has depth and width with well-placed dark eyes, ears, and a muzzle that’s strong with correct dentition, a tapered neck leading into a clean front with padded feet. A powerful close coupled body that has depth of brisket, spring of rib and tuck of loin, low set tail to complement. A rear assembly that’s well-muscled with a good bend of stifle and well let down hocks enabling him to move with desired free-flowing, powerful movement.

1 Rowe & South, Illori Arkinlana Jw Sh Cm Vw Other than a few grey hairs on his muzzle you would never know this guy is a veteran. Still retaining a sound, balanced profile and a superior level of fitness than his opposition, keen expressive head with dark eyes and correct ear carriage, strong muzzle housing big teeth, a clean front with padded feet, a close coupled body with depth and width with a good topline. Front and rear assemblies complement each other to enable him to move with free-flowing movement.

2 Lewis, Ch Biggleswick Splash Of Ginge Although slightly heavier than my first place he’s still a really smart dog with a strong head, dark eye, and good ear carriage, Straight front with strong pasterns and padded feet well placed to support him. Close coupled powerful body with depth of brisket and spring of rib and good topline, a correctly well-muscled rear assembly which allowed him to move soundly.

Special Beginners 3/2

1 Cychol. Brave Spirit Hurricane Nadia. A young pup that’s maturing well, good head shape with width and depth, dark eye and good ear carriage, straight front well-placed shoulders, close coupled body showing signs of maturity. Good bend of stifle and well let down hocks to rear, moved well for a pup which won him the class.

2 Bingham, Cwmhaf Ambassador. Upstanding of good size and shape, clean head with dark eye and correct mouth, clean front with strong pasterns, close coupled body with spring of rib and good topline, would prefer more bend of stifle, moved ok.

1 Constant, Sikaistaff Cask Strength This youngster has the wow factor with exceptional balance, an impressive head shape that has strength with a feminine expression, eye, ear, and muzzle placement all complement each other. Balanced front and rear angulations with good foot positioning to bear her weight evenly, close coupled body that’s maturing well with no sign of weakness. Moved exceptionally well for one so young. BPIB.

2 Gallagher, Alshancorn Says Who A Promising pup with a good head shape that’s well-proportioned with depth and width giving the desired expression, well angulated clean front with strong pasterns, a body that’s maturing well showing good strength, Good bend of stifle and well let down hocks enabling her to move well.

2 Walker, Torkavi The Last Dragon at Teshleystaf Strong feminine head with good proportions, dark eye, good ear placement, well-placed shoulders complimenting a clean front, close coupled body maturing well, correct well-angulated rear assembly enabling her to move well, presented to advantage.

1 Ship Delacour Sweetest Taboo For Idyllicstaff Quality throughout this well-balanced strong yet feminine bitch in fantastic condition. Head that has depth, width, and ideal length of muzzle housing big teeth, eyes, and ears coupled in to give the desired expression. Neck leads to the correct front with ample bone, strong pasterns, and padded feet placed correctly, close coupled body showing depth of brisket and spring of rib, tuck at loin and a low set tail, muscled rear assembly that enabled her to move with the desired free flowing powerful movement, in great condition which was the deciding factor between 1st and 2nd today.

2 Cartwright, Elitebull Skyefall JW Another that’s very well balanced throughout, an expressive keen head of correct proportions, ample bone to well-angulated front with padded feet, Close coupled body with depth and width, Rear assembly with feet positioned underneath her to enable her to move with free-flowing drive with no exaggerations, another that will have a bright future.

1 Bowman, Sikaistaff All Of Me Expressive head that’s clean and feminine, good mouth, ears, and eye placement, clean straight front with padded feet, desired length to the body to balance her out with depth and width with tuck at loin. Correctly angulated rear assembly that’s well-muscled and powerful which helped her win the class with free-flowing powerful movement carrying a low tail set. Special Beginners Terrier Group 3

2 Hamilton & Murphy, Bonnie Lass of Angels Peak Shawrigg Jw Standard size with plenty of substance that’s pleasing to the eye, good sized head that’s expressive of correct proportions. Well-angulated straight front, close coupled body showing depth of brisket. Spring of rib with a tuck at loin, bend of stifle, and well let down hocks that enabled her to move really soundly.

1 Rowe & South, Illori Constellation Jw. Really like the make and shape of her, strong head retaining femininity with good eye, and ear, square muzzle with big teeth correctly placed. Clean front with ample bone and lift, close coupled body with depth of brisket, spring of rib, level topline, and good undercarriage with tuck at loin. Rear assembly with desired foot position, moved free flowing and soundly in fantastic condition throughout helping her win the class with a low tail set to enhance her profile.

2 WalkeR Maxstaff Miss Vivenne At Teshleystaff Good head with correct proportions, dark eye, an ideal length too strong muzzle housing well-placed teeth, well-boned front with padded feet, desired length of body that balances her out nicely with spring of rib, and depth of brisket, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks enabling her to move soundly, with a short coat and in overall good condition.

1 Seymour & Robinson Dekayro Sweet Grace Olivia. Flashy marked brindle that’s really sound, Expressive head that’s strong and clean with no coarseness, an angulated front assembly that’s got good feet and lift, close coupled body with depth of brisket, and a spring of rib, level topline with a good tail set, well-muscled rear assembly helping her move with unexaggerated flowing action, in overall great condition.

2 Bassford-Lane Tnt Edition Quaesitum At Jojalane Slightly smaller all over than my 1st place but really well put together and balanced, head that’s feminine and expressive with dark eye and good ear carriage, correct mouth, straight front with padded feet, body that’s close coupled with depth of brisket, spring of rib and tuck at loin, required bend of stifle and well let down hocks that enabled her to move well.

1 Arntzen Catstaffs If I Had A Heart Caught my eye straight away with her exceptional breed type, balance, and foot placement that bears her weight perfectly. Head that’s strong and feminine, with ideal width and depth, ears, eyes, and muzzle all placed correctly to enhance her expression. A tapered neck that flows into well-placed shoulders to a strong front with lift and padded feet. Close coupled body with a level topline and clean undercarriage, depth of brisket, and spring of rib leading into a good tuck at the loin. A rear assembly that is well muscled with a bend at stifle and well let down hocks all of which enabled her to move with free-flowing unexaggerated movement carrying a low tail set that complemented her profile on the move. In fantastic condition with a short coat and handled to get the best from her. Pleased to award her the CC and Best of Breed

2 Emery Eclypstaff Strange Magic For Casails Slightly smaller all over than my winner but her qualities were glaring and obvious to see with a great foot position when free stood. Unexaggerated head shape with eye, ear, and muzzle to complete a keen expression, a straight front with well-padded feet, close coupled body with a really strong topline. Low set tail leading into well-angulated rear assembly that matches the front enabling her to move really well never putting a foot wrong all the way securing a strong 2nd place.

1 Byrnes Lackyle Realta Loiscneach Elegant bitch that’s shows great strength, and femininity with balance throughout. Her head is clean and unexaggerated with good eye and ear placement. Ideal length to muzzle housing correctly placed large teeth, a tapered neck that flows nicely into a clean front that’s straight with lift and padded feet placed well to bear her weight. Close coupled body with level topline, good undercarriage, depth of brisket and spring of rib, and rear assembly with correct angles enabling her to move with drive and purpose with free-flowing action, which was what won her the class and the RCC.

2 Wall Ch Goldwyn Shes The One This red stood out with such clean lines, strong yet expressive feminine head shape with dark eyes, and good ear carriage. A straight front that’s clean with lift and padded feet placed well, a body that’s close coupled with a depth of brisket and spring of rib with a level topline, good bend stifle and well let down hocks to well-muscled backend enabling her to move freely.

1 Strom , Ch Joddricks Poker Face. Top quality that you would never think is a veteran, keen expressive head shape with dark eyes and good ear carriage, ideally sized muzzle with correct dentition, tapered neck flowing into well-placed shoulders with a strong clean front with padded feet well placed. Close coupled body retaining strength throughout with depth, width a level topline, and desired undercarriage. Both front and rear assemblies complement each other enabling her to move with unexaggerated free-flowing movement with a low tail set. In fantastic condition throughout with a short coat to complete a picture of great balance. Best Veteran in Breed

2 Daly & Lees Starolestaff Arabella At Boscador Good size feminine head with dark eyes and correct mouth, fronts straight and clean with padded feet. Close coupled body with depth of brisket and spring of rib, bend of stifle and well let down hocks, moved well.

2 Lloyd-Williams Cwmhaf Cariad. Good head with correct ear carriage, dark eyes, and good mouth, well angulated straight front, close coupled body with spring of rib and tuck at loin leading into a well-muscled backend, moved well and in overall good condition.
