STAFFORDSHIRE BULL DRIFFIELD 22 Judge: Patsy Gilmour STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE DRIFFIELD 22 A day spent with the Staffords and their wonderful owners is always a day well spent and I would like to congratulate them all on the wonderful type and quality of the breed right now. I had no difficulty at all in finding top class, even line-ups of sound Staffords. I did not find a single bad mouth and tails are much improved. All in all the breed made my last judging engagement a most memorable one, and my thanks go to you all, an example to many other breeds. 1 Rowe & South’s Illori Akinlana JW ShCM VW. Two very different types. This boy was quality with a balanced head and body proportions, and he was sound. It was his middle of the road type and soundness that won him the class. 2 Mayren’s Ch Bellarouge Adonis At Fergiestaffs JW. In top condition, a bit much for me and I did not like his tail. He was quite sound. 1 Wilson’s Northstaff Nightmare. I loved him from the tip of his well balanced, correct strong head, perfect eyes and expression, good ears, perfect front and bone, well ribbed, short loin to his correct tail. In top condition. BPIB & PG1, well done! 2 Marshallsay’s Fergustaff Tudor Legacy. Red and white. A real baby but of lovely type. Well balanced head, strong underjaw, well balanced body. Very sound, he just needs time to mature. 3. Rodgers’ Beinn A Bhuird With Azzgem. 1 Butler’s Alport On Tour. B/br of lovely quality and very sound. Correctly shaped head with strong underjaw and neat ears. Very good front and rear. Nice feet. He has enough spring of rib and should get top honours. 2 Stanway’s Waystaff Strikes Mayhem. Different type, still a very good dog with everything in the right place. Not as compact as the winner of this class. 3 Dickenson & Stewart’s Aymstaff Ballade Dream. 1 James’ Luthais Loch Ness. Yet another b/br that was full of type. Lovely head, good body shape and was sound. In top condition. 2 Bilton’s Briganah Smooth Operator. B/br, full of type and quality. Perfect size and balance. Head, ears and underjaw all correct. Sound and in good condition. 3 Cherry & Millar’s Finnstaff Pistol Pete. 1. Clark & Ortizo’s Powerpack Lachlan Dorin JW. B/br of such lovely type and quality. Head is first class, strong neck, good front and ribcage. In top condition. 2 Rutherford’s Niatona All Above Board. Red and white of different type. In fabulous condition. Enough head strength, well shaped body and he was sound. 3 Manghan’s Diamondstaff Wee Mac At Durhamstaff. 1 Parker’s Jackabyte Boletoro At Nettleworth. I just loved him. Strength and quality combined in a perfect package. Super head shape, neat ears, strong underjaw and lovely expression. Perfect front and hindquarters, good rib, loin and he is so sound. In top condition and well handled. DCC & BOB. 2 Mallon’s Harkline King Louis At Danaireabull. Yet another top class dog. He has correct type and everything is in proportion. He is very sound and in excellent condition. 3 Gicquel’s Quash Marvelous Hagler De Stafflorence (Ita). 1 Yates & Tune’s Chelmbull Jack Black. Classy young dog who was very close to top honours. Strong head, good ears and correct eyes, strong underjaw. He has a very good front with neat feet. Strong neck, correct shoulders and rib, short loin with strong quarters. Very sound and in top condition. DRCC. 2 Gibson’s Holmane Moldavite At Staffordsmax. B/br of the type and size that I like. Everything about him was correct and he is in top, top condition and he is very sound. 3. Antonio’s Gazstaff’s Man In Black For Antoniostaff JW. 1. Rowe & South’s Illori Akinlana JW ShCM VW. 1st VD. 1 Harrison & Roper’s Ch Trawden Ice And Spice JW. Red and white pied, my Best Puppy the last time I judged and she is still very fit and in top condition. She is very classy and a lovely type. Full of herself and very sound. BVIB & VG2. 2 Turner’s Tidestaff Mystical Magic. B/br, much older and a credit to her owner. In good shape and condition for her age. This was a lovely class to start the bitches. 1. Quinn’s Callastaff Five Years At Bowferry. This bitch is full of type and quality with a strong but feminine head, her eyes, ears and underjaw are all correct. Good front with good feet. Rib, loin and hindquarters all good. Very sound, in top condition and she was well handled. 3 Miller’s Skyland Eruption. 1. Martinez’s Bullbrothers Mist Mydnight.
