STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE DOGS CRUFTS 17

Staffordshire Bull Terriers

DOGS – It was a privilege & honour to be invited to judge the breed I’ve loved owned & exhibited for many years at the world’s most famous dog show. To judge my own breed at Crufts is the ultimate & I really appreciated the honour of a lifetime! – The entry of 198 was in itself amazing. I must say I was not expecting to find the depth of quality in the dogs that awaited me, I was pleasantly surprised & made my day a most enjoyable one. Such was the quality that many quality dogs went unrewarded, but that is the unfortunate nature of the beast. I was more than pleased with my final line-up with some super dogs on display right from my minor puppy through to veteran. I have no doubt that a number of them will go on to take top honours in the future. Many thanks to each & every exhibitor for giving me the pleasure of judging your dogs. I would like to thank my stewards of the day Frank McCann & Martin Johnson for the excellent job they both did keeping the ring running smoothly & allowing me to get on with the task of judging the dogs.
