STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BOURNEMOUTH 19 Judge: Mr P Hopgood BEST OF BREED : 382 JOHNSON Mr & Mrs M & K Tillcarr Fire Coanda JW STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 19 Firstly I would like to thank the society for inviting me to judge at this my most local champ show, I would also to thank every single person that honoured me with an entry, not only people from UK but all those that made the trip from various parts of Europe. The weather on the day was very windy & noisy with the tents rattling, I am pleased to say that the dogs coped very well in the situation. I was more than happy with the quality of the exhibits, some very promising youngsters coming through. I know it’s an old saying but in some classes some very good dogs went cardless with some hair splitting decisions, I wish you all well for future shows. MPD (2,1) 1 Funnells Powerpack Tam O’Shanter. A very promising black brindle with white foot, still very much a baby, everything in proportion nice head shape with good expression correct bite, good front & good feet, nice overall outline moved well for one so young, will follow his progress with interest. PD (5) 1 Hamilton’s & Murphy’s Magicgem Daredevil for Shawrigg. Lovely red with white markings, a very appealing dog all round, good head and correct bite good front and depth of brisket & good feet, certainly let’s you know he is the ring & demands attention, lovely body shape & a good topline good bend of stifle and well muscled rear quarters, he makes handler work hard, a very confident pup with attitude, my pleasure to award him best puppy in breed. 2 McCarron-Tuer’s - Elitebull Avenger. Black brindle with white, super head & expression dark round eyes and neat ear carriage lovely front, short coupled body & a good backend, moved and showed to advantage shown In lovely condition sure to hear more from this youngster. 3 Antonio’s Gazstaff’s Man in Black for Antoniostaff. JD (7,2) 1 Smart & Hedges TNT Edition Renegade of Arnhem Flashy red white pied that really showed well today, an overall balanced dog that fits the standard well, nice head shape & typical expression good bite and a strong underjaw, good font and feet, nice over all outline in body, stood foursquare & looked correct from any angle moved well. 2 Breckell’s Chiswelstaff Deja Vue This young brindle was a very well proportioned dog in all departments & very well constructed, nice head, good ear carriage & good denition, good front with enough width nice body shape & a decent backend moved and handled well. 3 Pitas Satip Jozin Z Basin. YD (7) 1 Troiano’s Vanger Bull Brutale Hurricane Predominantly white with red markings, a bang standard dog with a terrific head & masculine expression good ear carriage, super front & good depth of brisket, his body is short coupled & leading to strong well muscled rear qaurters a well balanced all round dog that moved well & maintained a good topline to secure first place in this strong class. 2 Rhodes & Pritchard’s Taraiel Reaper at Teracota A quality black brindle good headed dog, nothing over done, clean lip and correct bite, very good ear carriage giving a good expression, excellent front & good feet, body wise everything is in proportion giving a very clean outline, a good backend that he used well on the move, shown in fantastic condition a real credit to owners. 3 Gough’s Manark Made to Measure. ND (4,1) 1 Mitchell & Ashton’s Chedanstaff Devil Star Top size upstanding brindle, decent head & expression, clean over all outline, very sound in all departments good topline held on the move, moved and handled well. 2 Cooper’s Sheracruz Doin the Best I Can Compact deep red on the lower end of the standard in height, decent head & expression good bite short couple body well muscled backend moved ok. GD (3) 1 Wise’s Montgomery Guard. Black brindle, strong but clean headed dog, good ear carriage & dark round eyes, lovely front with good width & good depth of brisket, nice overall short coupled body, good back end moved & showed well. 2 Mitchell and Ashton’s Chedanstaff Devil Star 3 Coke’rs Tiades Prince of Darkness PGD (5) 1 Funnell & Wiggin’s Powerpack Kilgobnet This classy looking black brindle had a good head shape & good underjaw, correct bite, good ear carriage, lovely front & good feet, good body shape and good topline, well a very balanced dog that moved well. 2 Rowe & South’s Illori Akiiki. Brindle similar remarks as above, another well constructed dog with a decent head & expression, not overdone in any way, a very smart all round dog that moved well, handler gets the best out of this dog 3 Corti’s Biggleswick Billy No Mates MLD (1) 1 Shipp & Hammond’s Hammystaff Hanky Panky with Idyllicstaff JW Stood alone in this class, he is a quality deep red that could hold his own in any company, strong masculine head with a good expression, well placed ears good stop & good underjaw, good front a well boned dog with a good body shape very well muscled rear qaurters, shown in great condition very hard & fit a real credit to owners, sadly didn’t seem to be enjoying his day on the move. A very worthy winner of this class. LD (13,1) 1 Major’s Maxta Floyd Lord of the Went This beautiful black brindle has a terrific head with good underjaw lovely expression & correct bite. Lovely front with enough width right amount of depth in brisket and good tight feet, a very well proportioned dog all over, good topline & good bend of stifle & a neat whip tail to finish, covered the ground on the move with ease & purpose, shown in perfect condition, a very strong contender in the challenge, sure his day will come. 2 Wilson’s Northstaff Notorious Black brindle with lovely well defined head shape with correct bite & a very alert expression, enough depth of brisket, well padded tight feet, very good body shape this boy has a powerful backend with good bend of stifle another that was in hard fit condition some work has gone into this boy, on the move he held a good topline, handler works in unison with him and knows how to get the best from him. 3 O’Conner’s Samtan Crime Fighter by Chezatree OD (13,2) 1 Johnson’s Tillcarr Fire Coanda JW Beautiful headed black brindle, dark round eyes, good ear carriage correct bite clean lipped and strong underjaw, well laid shoulders & a grand front with good width tight well padded feet, lovely body shape, a dog that looks a picture when viewed from any angle, he has a good bend of stifle & good tail carriage a strong backend, moved really well once he got his nose off the ground an all round top quality dog, a pleasure to award his well deserved crowning CC. 2 Van Wijk’s Ch Balthazar V/D Betuws Glorie Superb black brindle with white foot, super head & expression strong but clean, deep stop, true front & well padded feet, an overall dog of strength & substance, short coupled body & powerfull rear quarters, he is quality from head to toe fought off some strong competition to secure RCC 3 Desmond’s Ch Elitebull Challenger. VD (1) 1 Pitas, Angranian Saiorse Warrior This black brindle is in his 11th year, he is a dog I have admired since he was a youngster, I would describe him as a good honest Stafford a well put together dog, still has a good headshape & in great condition for his age moved well on the day, I judged him 4 years ago as a Veteran & he really has not changed a lot, stood alone in this class but a very worthy winner and glad to see him get a round of applause as he moved. Best Veteran in Breed. SBD (2) 1 Turners, On the Hill Two at Tidestaff. A good sized brindle of substance, decent head with dark eyes good stop & correct bite, good front, sound enough in the the body, moved ok. 2 Mitchell & Ashton’s Blooming Lovely A very neat all round package, a lightweight bitch but everything in proportion nice shape head and expression, compact in body with good bend of stifle moved ok. MPB (5) 1 Jones Chiswelstaff Black Velvet at Kamaristaff Beautiful black brindle with feminine head with well placed ears, dark round eyes & good stop, clean lips & correct bite, lovely front with good width, well padded feet, short coupled body & well bent stifles, good tail set, moved and handled to advantage. 2 Breckell’s, Chiswelstaff Penny Black Litter sister to first in this class. A top size young bitch with plenty of lift, a good head shape & correct denition, a clean outline when viewed from font or side, good rear qaurters moved soundly. 3 Marshallsay’s Fergustaff Drama Queen. PB (6,1) 1 Whitley’s Ginstean Epitome of Beauty A beauty she is for sure, beautiful head & expression neat ear carriage & well placed dark round eyes, true front with tight feet, she is developing nicely in the body & has a lovely outline & good backend, when she settled she moved soundly, one for the future. Best Puppy Bitch. 2 Waltham, Bryant & Carter’s Shortyrocks Faith Trust and Pixie Dust (Imp USA). A very attractive red with white markings another very classy looking youngster lovely head & expression dark eyes and good stop, good bite and clean lips, super front a very well put together girl with good overall body shape moved soundly. 3 Hands & Freeman’s Gazstaff’s Black Velvet at Skyestaff. JB (8) 1 Gabel’s Rnb of Spirit-Staffs. Stunning deep red with black mask, beautiful feminine head with dark round eyes & correct bite with enough under jaw, she has neat ears all adding up to give her a great expression, super front & good depth of brisket, short coupled body with good topline leading to good rear qaurters and good tail set, a well balanced bitch that moved well to secure first place, handled to perfection. RCC 2 Jackson’s Jackabyte Bocouture Another top draw black brindle bitch just out of puppy, strong but feminine head, good ear carriage & good eye placement giving her a lovely expression lovely true front with enough width, good body shape with a distinct waistline, strong well muscled rear qaurters, moved soundly this girl must have a bright future will follow with interest. 3 Johansson Te Ora Magic Eclipse. YB (7) 1 Johnson ‘s Ellchansha Once Upon a Time JW A very classy black brindle that I have admired from ringside and was not disappointed on going over her, classic head and expression, she has good dentition & good underjaw. Super parallel front & good pasterns, she has good pigmentation & good body shape & good rearquarters moved soundly. Good things ahead for this bitch I think. 2 Templeton’s Janastaff Freya at Marudi. Black brindle with pleasing head & good bite, her front is straight but would prefer a little more width well padded feet & short nails, she has the right amount of bone to balance, she has a good topline & moved well enough to take second place. 3 Manco’s Serdan Yamaguchi Gumi NB (1) 1 Templeton’s Janastaff freya at Marudi GB (3) 1 Whitley’s Maxsta Sparkling Shoes for Ginstean. Black brindle with white foot, she has a lovely head & feminine expression dark round eyes good stop & correct bite, very impressive true front with nice depth of brisket, plenty of rib & a well muscled backend good tail set, moved ok. 2 Hopkins Raspberry Ripple of Spirit-staffs to Trufflestaff Deep red, an all round good honest bitch with nice head neat ears and good eye placement, good front with well laid shoulders, her body has a clean outline moved & handled really well. 3 Mitchell & Ashton’s Blooming Lovely PGB (4) 1 Montanio’s Crazy Moon Top size red with white markings an upstanding girl with strong but feminine head with tidy ear carriage, deep stop & good underjaw, correct dentition she has a super front and well padded feet, her body is all in proportion & has very good rearquarters & a good topline, moved & showed to perfection. 2 Beesley’s Maxtstaff Miss whizz Deep red she is a well constructed bitch with typical head clean lipped & good bite, good front with width correct depth of brisket and good feet. She has a short coupled body & a powerful backend, covered the ground with ease on the move, a very sound bitch. 3 Funnell’s Powerpack Alura Finvarra JW MLB (3) 1 Funnell’s Powerpack Cherokee JW Black brindle with super head neat ears good stop & correct bite, she has a true front & a clean outline everything in proportion good backend and good tail carriage, shown in lovely condition gleaming coat. Moved well. 2 Hopkin’s Raspberry Ripple of Spirit-staffs to Trufflestaff. 3 Jones’s Rougestaff Flaming Ice. LB (9) 1 Gregory’s Ritestaff Mo Chailin Red with white markings, beautiful feminine head dark round eyes, neat ear carriage deep stop strong underjaw & correct bite, super front with good feet & pasterns, she has a compact short coupled body & good rear quarters, she is an eye catching bitch of class. 2 Rowe & South’s Illori Bootie Luv A cracking brindle with appealing head and expression good eye placement and good ears ,her muzzle is just right clean lips and correct bite she has the best of fronts and very good body shape powerful rear qaurters, she is gleaming in coat and rock hard to touch, her fitness is a credit to owner. 3 Kirk’s Jodanzac Fireball Red JW OB (9) 1 Marshall’s Marstaff True Grit Deep red with dark mask, great head piece that has strength with out exaggeration neat ear carriage & good eye placement and disticnt stop correct dentition, superb front & good feet. Short coupled body good bend of stifle and a powerfull backend, she looked a picture both standing & on the move, a top quality bitch from head to toe, a pleasure to award her crowing CC. 2 Rodriguez-Vigil Garcia Earthquake Staffs High Hope’s This top quality flashy red with white markings, a beautiful all round bitch with a very appealing head & expression good stop and length of muzzle, excellent front, her body is very much in proportion just the right amount of bone & substance to balance, she has a good backend & good tail carriage, moved well both for & aft, along with limit bitch winner was very much a contender in the challenge. 3 Janssen’s Earthquake Staffs Icehot. VB (1) 1 Gabel’s All In One of Spirit-staffs This grand old black brindle lady still possed a decent head & expression a little grey around the muzzle she stood foursquare naturally, she was in great shape for age & moved ok, always great to see the oldies in good form, she was greeted with a well deserved round of applause as she moved around the ring.
