STAFFORDSHIRE BOSTON 09 Judge(s) Eileen S Foy BD EUPHEMIA DRUMMER BOY (MRS C DEWAR) Staffordshire Bull Terriers PD (3) 1 McFadyen’s Araidh Rollercoaster, quality youngster, good well balanced head, good ribs, powerful hindquarters, hard condition. BP; 2 Dalby’s Dalarix Simply The Best, well muscled pup, powerful head. Expression spoilt by ear carriage. Good spring of rib, good hindquarters; 3 Jebson’s Kenocto Alonzo. JD (2) 1 Dewar’s Euphemia Drummer Boy, b/br show stopper, excellent head, well balanced, correct expression, good mouth, powerful neck onto good shoulders, short back, good spring of rib & strong muscled hindquarters, in gleaming condition. BOB; 2 Turner’s Aldwich Jack Flash, another Dark Lord son, quality youngster, powerful head, sound construction. At the leggy stage, will look more the part when mature, but too big. OD (4,1) 1 Swift’s Longdrive Blue Bijou, correct sized black, good head, balanced throughout, in hard gleaming condition. RBD; 2 Hemstock’s Budstaff Boagy of Jolihem, lovely sized red, good balanced head, sound construction, good bone. Just looked a tad short on the leg; 3 Fairhurst’s Fairlenium Eye Of The Storm. PB (1) 1 Field’s Rubicanov Roxette, b/br, quality young lady, good head, well made, moved & showed well once settled. JB (4) 1 Stevens’ Rotherstaff Dark And Sharp, top quality black, lovely well balanced head, correct expression, sound construction, balanced throughout, in excellent gleaming condition. BB; 2 Turner’s Trawden Snowball, white, just out of puppy & rather immature. Good head & expression, well made. Only needs time to mature when she will not look so gangly; 3 Smith’s Demijak’s Chaste Artemis. PGB (2) 1 Kimber’s Kimstaff Bo Diddley, b/br quality bitch, good balanced head, good spring of rib, good hindquarters, excellent condition; 2 Dalby’s Tegrid Lady of Varabric, red, lovely rich colour, good head. Not quite the overall balance of 1, feet need to tighten. OB (4,1) 1 Swift’s Longdrive Prairie Rose, pied, nothing flashy & a tad old fashioned for some, but excelling in construction, bone, balance & angulation. Her markings do not help her but a pleasure to go over. RBB; 2 Plant’s Ch Subaron Sharrann, correct sized quality bitch, well muscled & in gleaming condition. Her head has width but not enough depth when viewed from the front. Gun barrel front & ultra short back; 3 Bibby’s Taraiel Trinity. EILEEN S FOY |
